This is a president that has a definite agenda. Not noise making. Not those with morbid hatred. Not those that criticise for criticism sake. Not those that know the truth (what they cannot do) but pretend to be superstars and make their supporters to expect overnight turnaround.

Since 1999 we have not seen a president that is pushing his ministers this way. Again I will say it: I'm an Igbo but I have absolute confidence that BAT will perform. Watch out.

Note: "names given with innermost conviction" Was it given like any other. Where there circumstances that led to it? The people that gave the names when they call them what runs in their subconscious? The person that has the name, is he/she conscious of anything? etc.

What is a name? A name is an identity. It's rare for goat to answer dog. Their behaviour reflect the name. In traditional times people give names to their children based on circumstances of their birth or of their families at the time of their birth. In biblical times it was the same.

Irrespective of your belief words have power. I want to pretend to be liberal by avoiding quoting the scriptures. In majority of cases names given with innermost conviction end up reflecting on the person's behaviour.

You must remember that faith is an energizer of any action. Some people can by faith live above the negatives in their names.

Civil servants in the ministry of finance took it off the shelf and implemented. No president can know every little thing in every ministry.

It's not possible to owe a worker 8 years salary and he will be alive and continue to come to work.

The finance act 2022 signed by buhari demands that higher institutions should remit 40% of their surplus internally generated revenue to the federal government. The implementation period is this year.

The ministry activated it but wrongly i.e. that they should remit 40% of their IGR. The schools complained that the implementation will force them to pass on the cost to the students. This will result to higher fees.

The president listened to them and stopped the implementation.

I don't think you guys read before commenting. It was in last year's finance act signed by buhari and due for implementation this year. The ministry of finance just activated it but he stopped it.

A macroeconomy is not as small as family finance. There is always policy gestation period. When did you change the CBN leadership? When did you appoint the finance minister? When did they put their policies together? How old is the regime?

If the stats say that the exchange rate has gone bad and the inflation is looking to the north, we quote them and use it to mock the government. Now the stats are saying that there is deceleration, which means that the rate of increase has reduced, we don't want to hear that. We want instant result.

What it means is that we are moving from the experience of an item costing #500 today and in two weeks the same item costs #700. If this trend continues we will get to where the cost of the same item will be constant for months and ultimately the price reducing.

These things can't jump overnight.

I think history will be kind to tinubu. When the APC merger came up people said that political merger has never worked in this country. Majority laughed and declared it impossible. So many bricks were thrown at them. The group forged ahead. When the nay sayers particularly PDP discovered that the founders were determined they registered a political party. Suddenly the usage of the letters APC became an issue. The case even got to court and the present APC won.

Where's the political party now. Politicians have now known that merger can work in Nigerian politics.

LP and PDP merging to fight APC is like the sudden friendship between Herod and Pilate because they want to condemn Jesus.
