tashan: Yes it's a long article...............and everyone is complaining. Exactly highlights the problem with Nigerians; impatience, attention deficit, and a lack of reading culture...........hmm
Not everyone would love to read a very looooooooong article especially reading from a phone.
However, that guy is really a clown. I can imagine him training as a boxer and a karataker.

Super1759: I think its not on a negative side. Igbos are known to be warriors right from orgin and smartest among the tribes. Hausa peeps are fearless and can lay their lives for their belief. So it has something to do with their attitude to fight
What do you say about Tiv people then?

Literature › Re: Being A Good Listener! by vislabraye(m): 6:59pm On Nov 02, 2012
Good writing. Talkers are usually poor listeners and sometimes bad writers.
There's someone I met who could go one for three hours of talking binge and deny you a few minutes of word.

Cupidkc: 300k per trip? Apart from their basic salary. Huh thats gross,i doubt it.
300,000 naira for one trip? Are they pilots or sailors. That is not possible O. I don't know how Okija juju did his calculation.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Dangote To Give Graduate Drivers Trucks After Use by vislabraye(m): 9:32am On Nov 02, 2012
I want you guys to understand what 300,000km is. From Lagos to PH its between 650km-700km depending on the route you take.
From Lagos to Kano would be over a thousand kms. Depending on how frequently you're on the road within 2 to 4 years you've complete 300,000km.
For the young grads, not a bad deal.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Dangote To Give Graduate Drivers Trucks After Use by vislabraye(m): 9:25am On Nov 02, 2012
In trucking, you are paid per trip..

I once told somebody that long haul truck drivers make a shitload of money..

1100km driving at 80km/hh thats a 13 hour drive.. plus 2 - 3 hrs for traffic and potholes.. 300,000 in 20hrs isnt bad.. 4 trips per week and thats a million Naira easy!!
I don't understand your calculation. How did you arrive at that figure?
Speed has nothing to do with it and it doesn't matter how many hours you spend on the road.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Dangote To Give Graduate Drivers Trucks After Use by vislabraye(m): 8:49am On Nov 02, 2012
That's good. 300,000 km would take a few years to cover. Not a bad deal cos the truck are brand new.

Romance › Re: Can You Ever Sponsor Your Lover Abroad??? by vislabraye(m): 3:14pm On Nov 01, 2012
I can sponsor someone abroad not just because she's a lover but because I'm generous.
Mistake is when you do it because that person is a lover, you're bound to be disappointed.
If the person is a lover why not marry him/her first? Some generousity should be reserved till marriage.

Family › Re: Is Low Self Esteem A Result Of Parental Upbringing Or Personality? by vislabraye(m):
Self esteme can never be as a result of personality. You cant say some1 is born to have inferiority complex.
To a large extent, its a result of enviroment.
