Politics › Re: How Many Lagosians Have Been Touched Since Fashola Has Been Governor by vislabraye(m): 3:04am On May 29, 2011
The real project that would make significant impact is what he's just started. But let us see how it would end. We know Jakande built roads and houses for the masses. The most expensive project Fashola has carried out is construction of toll gates. To me it's like giving with one hand and taking from the other.

Many people do not know how much has been spent so far constructing the tolls and the road. And mind you, the road he constructed renovated is not for free. We're paying for it. 3 toll gates in one LG area. He had to fense away houses, shops and business centers. A lot of people have lost a source of living. For instance, Total filling station close to Shop rite is not having much patronage as it used to have.

If he's really helping the poor masses, why destroying their businesses with ur construction? And what is the essence of fensing toll gates? And why should he build 3 toll gates in Eti Osa LGA? Is it helping development ? Did the indigene ask for it ?
Politics › Re: Efcc Discovers $1 Billion In Bankole's Proxy Account In UBA by vislabraye(m): 2:39am On May 29, 2011
1 billion dolars is way way huge. He's a stealing machine. Such people should be tied to a stake and burnt alive.

I don't think its in naira because ordinary local government chairman can get more than that. The present speaker earns 88 million naira every month as salary, that excludes other pecks.
God forbid, our leaders have no conscience. Let GEJ not sit down and allow these things to continue. . .

Look for another alternative. Na big insult be this. Justimagine you both are in a restarant, u going to pay the bill but she's having a good time with her ex. i even suspect the "ex". You even had the patience to stay that long for the insult. . . Don't give urself wahala, use the substitute.

luluosas:
You are a stinking . Ayo is a politician and no politician dare speak against his or her financier.
As for supporters of Buhari, I am PROUD to have associated with him, even though I am from SS. I have never be involved in thuggery, neither will I ever be.
As Pastor Bakare, he is on the right track. He will never be like you who sees black but calls is white.
i CHOOSE not to respond to you.

The elction was free and fair, yet Buhari was crying foul. As good sport man he should have accepted defeat, but he threatened and thereby instigated the Almajaris to riot. GEJ may or may not be the right man. The bone of contention was than Xtians were killed, lives were lost in the North.
The Northern leaders, Emirs et all are all savages. How can an Emir allow such killings in his own ward ? If the Emirs and all Islamic leaders came out to condem such act or speak to their followers, they would definitely obey. It was after much damage had been don ethat Buhari condem their actions.
The people of the North do not see it as PDP against CPC; they see it as Christians against Moslems. I wonder why people are too blind to see it the way it is.

He's not only silly, he's a savage. We have a lot bush animal men in town. Some time ago, Ohakim slapped his wife in public. This man should be dealt with. I wonder whether he used a weapon or barehands
Celebrities › Re: Psquare Attacked And Robbed At Gun Point In Lagos (3rd Mainland) by vislabraye(m): 1:11am On May 29, 2011
Govt. is not doing anything about security. Only building toll gates from VI to Epe.
Is it now a crime to help someone? Things like this should be a lesson for others to follow. I would never stop on 3rd mainland bridge for anything. Never drive in a quiet and lonely road.
I would also advise these celebrities to be coded. Having wealth is good, but be careful how you flaunt it cos yoo don't leave in a safe society.

At least make una learn from Tu- baba

There were manu other people who suffered in the war. People from the south South especially were killed. My grand father died because of the war, I hope GEJ would look for a way of compensating us.
But, militancy pays a lot O. There are many Niger Deltans who are looking 4 good employmet, yet free money and rehabilitation is going to militants. What a country. . . cry cry
Celebrities › Re: Advice For Nkem Owoh(osuofia). (no Offence) by vislabraye(m): 12:42am On May 29, 2011
The first movie Nkem Owoh acted was very very humorous. It was natural and flowing well. The other one I loved so much was the one he featured with Kate Henshaw.
But Nkem Owoh needs to follow the script. I don't know whether its the director giving him a free role to yan whatever he wants. Some times he goes overboard. I blame the director for making a scene soooo loooooooooooooong that it becomes meaningless.

Anything that is over done looses its value.

Barca really out palyed Man U. If they are English champions could loose i such a way, its shameful. Even the goal they scored was offside.

I wished Arsenal got this kind of referee Man U got against Barca. You would have seen the difference. Many Man Ufans were laughing when Barca defeated Arsenal. No shame for gunner because they were also playing against the referee, cheesy cheesy Kudos Barca

TV/Movies › Movies That teach people how to rob by vislabraye(op): 8:32pm On May 26, 2011
It seems these days there are more and more movies where the protagonist is an armed robber(s). The most recent are "Taking" and "fast and furious."

Although these movies are interesting, I don't really think they have proper moral value. Some devious characters coud learn so new robbery innovation.  huh

Politics › Re: Nigerian Masses Are As Corrupt As Nigerian Politicians (evidence) by vislabraye(m): 8:04pm On May 26, 2011
The masses imitate it from the leaders. Its what we see every day. Some one steals 85bilion and goes to jail for one year. When he comes out he gives a thanx giving. The truth is that, the law is very weak. When the citizens see how people are having a field day in corruption and don't get caught, he becomes encouraged.

IBB, Authur Nzeribe to mention but a few were those who lived eat and drink corruption.

@ poster. It is what u call sharpness. Thats why we have a lot of fake goods and products, 419 in every nook and cranny. People promising you job only after u've paib a token fee. They come in all form and sizes; well spoken clean suites to the agberos they are just countless.

I remember enrolling for a course in a recruitment agency. They call the program ESDP (Employability Skills Development Program ). They said the best candidate would be offered a scholarship to Havard, second to a Business school in South Africa, and the third Lagis Business School.
We were asked to pay 3,500 to their account. After paying, they set the  aptitude test on the 29th of May knowing fullywell its a public holiday. After complaining to them , they had a resit and I was chosen.
I have attended all their classes, done the exams and nothing have been heard from them. Meanwhile, there were about two thousand people who paid for this services and only a less than a quarter was chosen.
Corruption is every where worse of all corporate organizations.
Politics › Re: Bloodbath In Lagos: Soldiers Kill Police Dpo, Dco 8 Others by vislabraye(m): 12:35pm On May 26, 2011
PUNCH METRO gathered that around 9am, two of the policemen attached to Gateway City Development Centre, left their duty post to mount an illegal checkpoint near the bus stop.

The policemen were said to have flagged down a commercial bus and demanded money from the driver.

The driver, it was learnt, turned down the request and the action infuriated one of the policemen, who fired at the bus. Three of the passengers were hit by the bullet released by the trigger-happy policeman.

One of the affected persons, a woman, whose identity was unknown, was said to have been hit by the bullet on the left side of her face, while the other passenger, a man, sustained a bullet wound on his back.
I hope the police dpo can see. We only get to hear a distorted story. Other source said the soldier struggled with the police.
Anyway, the Army has denied responsibillity. I hope police men would learn to stop extorting money and mounting illegal checkpoints. Most times police are at fault. But what is wrong with the police force? Are they under a curse?

Things couldn't have gotten up to this point if there was proper communication. Some times police do a lot of silly things to civilians. It's very rare before u see a good one. This incident happened some years back in Yaba when some policemen beat up a soldier on an Okada.

Shooting a defenseless person is out of it.
Politics › Re: I Don’t Respond To Foolishness, Oritsejafor Replies Buhari by vislabraye(m): 3:33pm On May 25, 2011
@cold, It depends on the religion you're talking about.

A lot Xtians and innocent people were killed, houses and Churches were torched. Why shouldn't Ayo say something about it.

Those people who did it were doing it in the name of religion. I wonder why Bakare is silent. Let him speak, at least he should act as a peace broker between warring parties.

She carries herself in a cheap manner. That's what I mean. Halle Berry, Janet Jackson, and Sharon Stone do not carry themselves in a cheap manner. Like I said, she can act whatever she wants to act, but she has to give a better answer than "I do it for the money" lol. That's a very ashawotic statement. Even if that's the reason, she shouldn't be saying it. Look at the regard at which some NLers are holding her. Her attitude, her persona, etc.

Td jakes didn't suggest there is any other way. And of course we can't deny the fact that there are some people who will get saved in other faith if they never had opportunity to hear the gospel. There is another standard of judgement for them. They won't be judged by the gospel , they will be judged by their conscience which was a witness of God in their haaerts
So God has double standards.

If you can do a little research on youtube, you will hear it with ur naked ears when TD Jakes made some vague statements supporting this. I'll post the link to u later.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsene Wenger Needs To Be Sacked. by vislabraye(m): 4:49am On May 25, 2011
He won trophies when the EPL was a mediocre league, When Only Man Utd were the team of note. Those days Only Man Utd ever does well in the CL
What are you saying? 2002 and 2005 EPL a mediocre league ? Think again. He had groomed quality players of thelikes of Viera, Henry, Ashley Cole, Overmars, Gilberto Silva. World class players.
Sometimes I wonder whether its Wenger or the board. If he leaves , I wonder who's there to take over from him.
He needs to change his policies. But we have to be careful. Man City has spent many millions, and this is their 1st season inCL.

Truth is that all other good coaches are in contract. . If Arsenal buys them over, fine.

No on messes with the army.

Its really sad for our armed forces to behave like this. I think there should be a level of commadarieship between all forces. Some times the police like to flex muscles when they know they can't handle what would come their way.

Before we blame the soldiers, why should the police shoot some 1 who was defenceless. What if it were a civillian, all of us would be complaining. I hope the police would learn their lessons. They are suppose to be our friends but they act as enemies. . .

If he kept quiet I'm sure most of u guys would brand him a coward. Beileve it or not, the supporters of Buhari are savages and I don't think he's doing enough to tame his tugs.

In all this, I wonder whose side Tunde Bakare is.
