@ citizen Y .No one is saying Naija is perfect. But let's get some fact right,

When some one start opening her/his and begin talking thrash, that person should be called to order. Nigeria's problem has nothing to do with terrorism. If she's talking about corruption and bad leadership, that should be in a different context. I first thout she was trying to make sense, but she just goofed

Nigeria was not fantastic neither was Ghana. They were thrashed 3 0 i maean 3 1 but for that penalty thatwas not deserved. It would be a tough match and Ghana will come heavily on us, but we'll get at them, this is not just being optimistic. They also have their flaws,

hilary is just chatting rubbish

totally contradicting herself

shes sayin they might be terrorists

because the muslims are poor

whilst the terrorist they have

is so because hes riich??

silly woman

needs to go and sit somewhere
Thumbs upfor you, She doesn't understand what she's talking about.
All over the world, the cause of terrorism has little to do with poverty. The people who flew the 9/11 plane were not poor.
Infact this woman is beginning to suck!!

If she wants to say Nigeria is corrupt, let her just say it and not start linking it with terrorism cos there is no correlation.
But the truth be told, it is ISLAM that is the cause of terrorism. I know I'm stepping on toes, but that's the fact. There are some good moslems, but the radical ones use their eligion to justify it.

Where i want to blame our leaders is the issue of corruption,
Politics › Re: Good News: Us To Review Hasty Inclusion Of Nigeria To Terror Watch List by vislabraye(m): 11:00pm On Jan 26, 2010
Nigeria's problem has nothing to do with terrorism. But the major problem with Naija is corruption.

Honestly speaking, I don't see the wisdom in putting Nigeria on the terror list. I just pity innocent Nigerians who would be humilated and called terrorist abroad. The stigmatisation would increase.
Let's look at this issue logically. First and foremost, Muttallab is the first Nigerian to attempt suicide bombing. He became radicalised " outside the country" to be precise Great Britain. If the Americans and the British are serious, they should begin looking at the people they grant visas to. I won't be surprised to hear that there are some radicals in their countries. America should rather be pro active; they should not pass the buck.

The crisis in trhe North is akin to Rwanda geneocide but not as severe as that. That alone is not enuf to put Nigeria in the list
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Zambia: Super Eagles Win On Penalties (Nations Cup) by vislabraye(m): 10:32pm On Jan 26, 2010
The quality of match was very poor. Eventually, the most important thing is that the SE won,  Inexperience was the undoing of the Zambians, but that is football. Cote D'voir lost to Algeria in the most annoying fashion. These same Zambians we played against dealt with Cameroon evn though the latter won. Gabon also defeated Cameroon at the group stage, it goes a long way to say that the so called big teams didn't find it going well with them.

My major concern is that our players are not fit. Martins is back from injury, Yak has just put to birth just look at te size of his stomach. Nsofor, is not diffferent from a home base player. Look how he just balloons the ball.  If they can continue playing like this and win all their games thats ok by me.
Education › Re: Riot : Education Not For The Poor, Says Unn Vc by vislabraye(m): 10:06pm On Jan 26, 2010
People shouldn't just compare the education in Naija to that of abroad. The VC should not make such statements like he did no matter how blunt he wants to be. It's not every country abroad that pays heavily for education, Sweden for example. I think the major problem is that these schools don't get or don't know how to get funds, ( infact we can also say the poor are not worthy to live )

E hard O!. From the story above, the so called call girl did not open up to her past life which alone is a dent on her integrity, I don't think I will find it comfortable to marry her O except under a divine intervention.

Dolomite:
Every girl above 21 that is not a virgin and is not married is a call girl.

Just because you pay one at night and you pay another one by taking her to watch the movies and buying her sweet sensation rice doesnt make her less of a call girl than the one at night standing on Allen avenue.

They both share the same attributes of letting men spend on them so that the man will fc.uk them later at night. So whats the difference?

Virtually all campus girls are call girls

Virtually 90% of female bank marketers are call girls

Virtually most idle girls on Nairaland posting every 10 minutes are call girls looking for a big prick, so why insult those at night making a living and the greedy ones that are ready to sell their toto in exchange to watch Avatar and eat Kentucky Fried Chicken and collect A/C in a guys car to show that they are now big girls?
cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy
A call girl and a Donatus ( a generous girls smiley ) are the samething. When some girls are on campus or NYSC camp, only God knows what they do with their body. If you have served before or gone through our higher institution, you would understand what I'm talking about . Some girls are sooo cheap. The only difference they are from call girls is that they don't rent chalet or stand on the road to stop cars
Business › Re: Sanusi Ousts Ovia, Elumelu, Akinfemiwa by vislabraye(m): 1:26am On Jan 24, 2010
binna , Tolu 10 and , made some very interesting statements. People are always reading tribalism into everything. Whether Sanusi is beig tribalistic or not that would not exonerate the Ibrus and Akingbolas from any misdeeds.

The banks are plc, and the largest shareholdres are the public and therefore, the CEOs and/or Managers should be rotatted. Thats what's normally done. Also this strategy is damage control. If you know the lavish livestyle the ousted CEOs ( Ibru and Akingbola ) lived, you would understand his reason for coming up with that law

I live in Aja, and just next to my house is Lorenzo bar ( makosa and/or mapuko dancers every friday night. I heard Fashola has banned them ). Not been in Lagos for some months now. I use to have that same problem with recreation, but i've substituted it with procreation grin.

Any way, your best bet is Alpha beach or Lekki Conservation Foundation opposite chevron.
Sports › Re: Yakubu Has An Overbloated Opinion Of Himself by vislabraye(m): 12:27am On Jan 24, 2010
I noticed he did not shake hands with Martins. No game spirit at all.

Yakubu has not been playing well in this tournament. The only goal he has scored so far was a poorly taken penalty. Martins who was just back from injury ( there was a post here that said Martin had left the tournament for medical treatment, shame on rumor mongers) scored in his first goal.

Yak is not just in form. He got to admit it.

Nurses have very tender touches. They are also exposed to and knowlegeable about the male anatomy grin. So at any given point, they know where to touch.

As for bankers, ithey are all about dough, embarassed . They should learn to be as tender as their nurses colleagues
Politics › Re: Resign Now, Obj Tells Yar’adua; Protest In Lagos by vislabraye(m): 12:12am On Jan 24, 2010
We have alot of Obasanjo advocates in the house. One unique thing about Obj was that he takes one step front, and then takes five steps backward. How is he moving Nigeria forward?
Do you people know how much he has embezzled ?
He has increased fuel price countless of times.
The refineries are not functioning; in a Nation that produces crude oil, yet we import fuel and petroleum products.
Talking about human right issue, he drove all the occupants of 1004 estates and sold the estate to himself and his cronies.

I just read him say " It's an insult for any right thinking person to say that i imposed president Yar Adua on Nigerians. After all the sacrifices I have made  for Nigeria, "

As for Yar Adua election, we all know it was rigged. Obasanjo campaigned for him even when he was in his sickbed. So why won't any person say he imposed Yar Adua on Nigerians,

aikuda:
Sometimes I don't understand Nigerians. It doesn't matter how wrong you think Obasanjo have been in the past or how much you hate him, when someone does sothing right, admit it. Obasanjo has done the right thing for saying what he said. I don't want to get into the debate whether he was a good president or not because that won't do any good. The only thing I will say is that we were moving the right direction when he was president. Nigeria is a difficult state to govern. You can even see that from some of the comments on NL.

Every government needs continuity in policy. Many of Obasanjo's policies have been discontinued by this sickler president. Even Jonathan admitted that the discintinuation of obasanjos's program on power is the reason they could not achieve the 6000 mw. Let's call a spade a spade. For all I care, third term for obasanjo would'nt be worse than this trap we are now.
All Obasanjo does is to make policies. How many of them has he successfully implemented?  Obasanjo has spent 8 years as civillian president, was it too short for him to provide stable power?

Continued by the sickler president ? huh Who put him there?

@deoye 125
On the contrary, Nigerians are the easiest people to rule. An average Nigerian is not asking for too much. Let there be light, good roads and job opportunities. For instance, just see the way Lagosians are praising Fashola. He's doing somethings right, and every body can see. If OBJ left a positive legacy, Nigerians won't 4get him.

Don't u forget our great president has committed war crime by wiping out a whole community,

Nigeria vs Zambia, I saw the fixture on DSTV. I'm a bit surprise though hapy cos i thought we were going to meet Cameron. SE should be able to take them them if they play better and faster.
Men, that guy that replaced TT is far better. He's not absent minded, and doesn't cause stupid errors like TT. It appears Shuaibu is/was not very familiar with they players at his disposal.
Sports › Re: 'Quit Now!' Okocha Urges Kanu by vislabraye(m): 11:33pm On Jan 19, 2010
I don't think Okocha is being malicious as many people might think. They are both friends and he's just airing his honest opinion. Kanu has never been a fast or physical player when he was at is prime. Though an intelligent player, there's very little his intelligence can take him. Kanu will retire when his body tells him to and i'm sure he's listening to it
