Definately Vivianc. Her comments in the Singles Summit made a huge impact in my current relationship. Just found out less than 10mins ago that she is now late. I still can't believe it. Life is so fleeting. and to think that I kept procrastinating because I needed to send her a private message so she would counsel me on a few things.... |
OMG! Vivianc is gone ?Nooooooo. Just less than 2 weeks ago, Sunday to be precise her "teachings" on the Romance summit made me make a monumental decision in my relationship. I remember her apologizing about not being as fast with answering some questions because she wasn't feeling well. She is gone! I do not believe this. Lord why? RIP Vivianc, I most definitely will NEVER forget you. |

Blackteeth: Mtcheew. Please if you can't comprehend written things don't bother to respond. Where in that post did I justify cheating? I was only saying ladies should be prepared and not be caught by surprise. I said it is part of the male spieces nature to desire more than one female partner. And who made that nature? isn't it God? With a reason of course. Yes ladies cheat too but they are the ones who complain frequently. So I directed this post to them. Simple.Sorry Bro, but you are so justifying it. And I also agree with Booqoee. If you really want to bring God into this, let;s take marriage for example: Did both partners not swear to the same God to uphold their marriage? Is a marriage not supposed to be blessed by God - whether traditional or white wedding. God gave Adam only one partner- Eve. And he (Adam) was meant to be contented with that. Stop justifying what is wrong, unnatural and sinful. Take correction jare |
The Bank had been sending me alerts about it for a week now. When I saw this thread, I decided to check it out. Please let truth be told, this has absolutely nothing to do with teh OPs internet connectivity speed. My speed here is great but this new portal has got to be slower than a snail! The OP is 100% right. It took over 10mins to allow me check my bloody balance! ![]() |

The Chairman House Committee on Diaspora, Hon Abike Dabiri Erewa, has said that about 409 Nigerians are currently serving different jail term in South African prison Dabiri Erewa disclosed that the situation was observed after the committee’s visit to two prisons in south africa where Nigerians are being held for various offences. She was accompanied on the visit by Hon Ajibola Famurewa and Hon Umaru Shidanfi both members of the committee, consular officers of the Nigerian Embassy, and executives of the Nigerian Union in south africa. She explained that the committee held interaction with some inmates and were told that some of them have completed their prison terms, yet were still being kept in Jail. She said the inmates complained of extreme discrimination by the prison authorities in South Africa saying that as Nigerians, they get very bad deal. The chairman said the inmates alleged that the authorities tore into pieces their Nigerian passports among several other allegations and refused to grant them bail, while others from other countries that committed similar bailable offence were granted bail. Dabiri Erewa however advised the inmates to stay away from crime as obviously it does not augur well, no matter what. While on a visit to the Nigerian High commissioner to South Africa, Ambassador Sonni Samuel Yusuf, the committee commended the embassy for their various interventions and intimated them of the various allegations not only by Nigerians in prison but Nigerians generally in South Africa of discrimination in several areas. The Nigerian Ambassador assured the committee, that the embassy will continue to make the welfare of Nigerians in South Africa their priorities. According to him, “nobody has the right to seize anyone’s passport not to talk of tearing them into pieces”. He said issues like that are not peculiar to Nigerians alone but blacks generally in South Africa and African ambassadors in South Africa are deliberating on this issue. He said the embassy will not relent in its efforts to protect the right and dignity of Nigerians. He also commended the large numbers of Nigerians excelling in South Africa in their various areas of endeavours, adding that the Embassy would continue to ensure that “one bad apple does not spoil the whole bunch”. |
Is that going to raise the value of our currency to a competitive rate? If No, then i don't care even if they print it with a computer printer ![]() #TeamGOM
Hahahaha! No it wont raise the value. ![]() Naturally, as all things FG there was no adequate risk management done which would have anaylsed the fact outlined above about the wear and tear of the notes caused by our weather. |
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced that the country will revert to paper banknotes before June 2014. The move has been described as a policy switch that bucks the growing trend around the world for tougher polymer-based currency. The CBN signed a deal in 2006 with Australia’s Securency International to print lower more-circulated units of the naira in polymer, while higher denominations were kept in paper form The polymer notes were first introduced in 2007 with N20 denomination and later in 2009 with the N5, N10, and N50 denominations. He said that it was an error on the part of CBN to have produced polymer notes. “Polymer has been on a test run since 2007. This explains why we did not go the whole hog by printing all the notes in polymer,” the Director of Communication, CBN, Mr. Ugochukwu Okoroafor said. “We only used polymer for N5, N10, N20 and N50, while N100, N200, N500 and N1, 000 are in paper form. We soon discovered that the polymer notes easily fade out because of our peculiar hot climate in Nigeria making them look tattered when in use over time,” he added. The central bank however said the policy would not be a drain on the country’s finance and would be gradual. (We have heard that before!) The new paper banknotes would be printed locally by the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company rather than abroad. - See more at: http://nigeriana.org/blog/46876.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Jetheights+%28Jet+Heights%29&utm_content=Yahoo%21+Mail#sthash.NmLH3fyo.dpuf |

Where do I even start?! I am an emotional wreck right now. The "Father and the son before and after" got to me deep. The thought of ageing and losing my mom is one of my biggest fears. "The Child and the Vulture" always gets to me whenever I see it. "Wait for me daddy", the "Firefighter and the Koala", the "dog at the graveside of his owner" and of course the "Falling Man" at the world Trade center. I kept seeing video images of that on CNN at the time. God help us all. |
We just had a finished a meeting in my former office. I had to rush to the bathroom to ease myself. In my haste, I had no idea that I didn't bolt the door properly. I am there and my ex boss (an Indian!!!) just pushes the door open...like wth! He quickly goes "oh sorry sorry" and shuts the door. The most annoying thing is the doors, though side by side are clearly marked "male" or "female" I was mortified! I rushed upstairs and closed for the day. ![]() |

Most people start dating "early" in life. The word "early" was put in parenthesis because its relative. For some who started dating at 15yrs it may be early, while 18yrs may be late for some others. The point is most start dating in their teenage years - a period where we are still learning about ourselves and the world around us is still molding us into who we will later become. By the time a person is 25yrs, they probably think about their first so called love and go "what on earth was I thinking"! With time, People change, so do their likes, dislikes and loves. So....... |
I disagree with some on this list. How could you ignore Lady Gaga's meat dress?! That has been her most controversial dress of all time1 Or Jlo's green plunging one that caused great controversy back in the 2000s? Then of course Lil' Kim's sea shell dress she wore to the MTV awards show which Miley reprised for Halloween this year And then there was Cher's sea true black dress. Cant remember where she wore it sha. No, this list no correct o. |

obillyj: her father takes care of her financial needs- cloth her, sponsor her hair do, changes her wardrobe, buys her make-up, touche her up for you and u boy friend sit down dey reap d benefits abi.We have now turned to commodities abi? I disagree with your post completely. If he wants to do so once in a while, then fine. Any girl who becomes a liability to any man has no respect for me whatsoever! And dont forget, working or not some of these "expenses" you have so thoughtfully listed here runs could run into thousands of Naira - hair bill for example. |
The word "always" to your question has shown that that would be complete fool hardiness on the part of the boyfriend. Why the hell should a common boyfriend shoulder the financial responsibilities of his girlfriend Did they born the girl for him? And what if I may ask is the foolish girl doing for herself? Even if she is a student (who for some odd reasons seem to be richer than the working class in Nigeria!) ? After women would start screaming Feminism and Miss Independent. My answer would be a big HELL TO THE N-O! ![]() |
