Politics › Re: APC Zones Senate Presidency To N'central, Speaker To N'east by vivalavida(m): 7:11am On Apr 18, 2015
Presidency position is cool but to the igbo man,it is not a do or die affair. All those senate and speaker positions are just mere positions. We are buisness people. All we need is a conducive environment to do our buisness. Northerners have ruled this country for donkey years and yet their region still looks like somalia. The famed progressives have brown roofs doting every part of their region barring lagos. You might call the igbo chest beaters but the average igbo man is a survivor. We can turn a desert to a dubai. We see diamonds where others see filth.
So keep ur positions to yourselves. Share and rotate the presidency amongst u. We dont care. But go out into the streets and u will find out the region whose pple are faring better. Shalom!

We can all protest in our little corners. I have switched off my mtn line. Throughout this weekend,my mtn will be off. If many people can do this, they will feel the pain. But my pple will rather rant online here and still go out and patronize SA company products

TV/Movies › Re: Yoruba Should Float MORYWOOD by vivalavida(m): 9:50am On Apr 17, 2015
Nice thread.
Both sides are making good arguements for their case. But i'll always side with my umunne. It's all about the cash. No free lunches. You have to package anything you are doing very well to derive the cash that comes with it. The poster above me made mention of seuns nairaland being a one-off and Linda ikeji already having so many competitors. Yet with the high number of competitors, linda ikeji have managed to stay heads above water and is a success story. Seun needs to repackage this nairaland. I have been registered on nairaland since 2009 and year after year,u hardly see any difference. He should work on the damn thing, improve the graphics, look for a way to make it more income driven. People love nairaland and will actually pay for their adverts to be here because of it's worth,
As for the Morrywood stuff,i wish you guys the best of luck. It will die a natural death. The yoruba movie industry under nollywood is already in a comatose state. The comatose state is being covered up by da nollywood umbrella. Move it out and everyone will see the maggots crawling out of the rutten thing. Cheers
