What is in this debate that is always scaring Buhari? They were all asked the same questions. Not as if special questions were reserved for certain candidates.
The candidates all tried in the way they answered the questions. Kudos to the Organisers.

I grudginly applied for this faan job. Got an sms for the exam on the 2nd of march. Was sick that day. Had to drag myself to the cyber to do it and scored 52%. I moved ma mind away from faan. Was in the office today around 3pm and a number called me that she saw ma name online. I thought it was one of these scam calls. Asked her hw she saw my number? Is my number online too? She said somethn about seeing the list with her uncle and dat she decided to try ma line since am frm her state imo state. I asked her hw sure she was,she then called my full name. I contacted a female friend to help me use her office system and check faan website for ma name. Didnt want ma boss seeing me checkn a job site with office system. She did, snapped it and sent it to me on whatsapp. Not too long, their sms came in. Checked ma mail now and saw their email. But dont knw hw am gonna squeeze out time to travel to enugu all the way frm lagos. Hw do i do that medical ish wen i have to be @ work 2mao. Highest i can do is form illness in the office and sneak out of lagos on friday. But i have done a lot of fed jabs recruitment processes and i have come to discover that knowing one big shot is always needed. Sss has done that to me twice even after gettn to the final stage of the recruitment. So i am discouraged.
Hw u guys doing with the filling of the medical form? Can some one get to the center without filling it completely? Why are we to do physical fitness and interview same day? They said we should wear white shirt, shorts and canvas and in the same mail ask us to dress coporately for the interview. This is the same ish immigrations did
Nna mehn,am confused. I need answers and if it aint forth-coming,i stay bak in lagos |

prettyblaqy: you are the only person that made a valid statement here though i can see some more, i wonder where & who cooked up that story about high bride price, Let me ask those thomas here, are there no okada riders marrying from mbaise, are there no people doing minial jobs that got married to Mbaise ladies, why not look else where if you can't afford a priceless gift, point to remeber no Mbaise lady is a dollard, they are always hard working, they are assets to their husband, thats why you see that They inter marry themselve. they believe that no man wants a liability, bend down look round where ever you can see any Mbaise lady, you will notice one unique thing about her, i don't write cos am one, a proud one @ that, but i write cos i know who i am, & what i stand for, lastly i believe in one proverb my granpa will always say, '' onye rere ugwu ya otu shilly, ego juru ulo a agaghi i zutara ya hi'' what do i mean; if u sell ur prestige/dignity for 1 shilly, money that fills a house can't get it back for you... mind what you say with ur mouth or what you write or what you think about potential (wives). There is power in ur words, doesn't matter how is been presented, now is the best time to design the next 10 to 15 years plan of your life not speak or write cos you can write. Lastly, for the ladies ( every woman)what you call ur dog is what it will answer, i didn't mean women are Dog. Every tribe has its culture & traditions, u don't sit back & point accusing fingers on ancestors that know notting about d dangers some traditions are causing 'we' the youth. Get up be courageous & fight for yourselves (i inclusive).don't throw yourself on a man who doesn'y deserve you, a woman is more respected& valued when she has some thing good doing, then he (the man) will come & Beg to be part of your family & your life. Its a collective call wether you are from Mbaise, Ngwa, ohuhu, Ananbra, Owerre, etc always stand out, don't be intimidated by any thing or get distracted by wat fun can offer. anyone who loves & values you will locate you.distance is never a barrier neither is culture & tradition . Culture › Re: Why Do Igbos Especially The Anambrans Marry From Their Tribe? by vivalavida(m): 3:43pm On Feb 22, 2015 |
bigfrancis21: There are several Igbo ladies that dated Yoruba guys only to get dumped by the guy for a fellow Yoruba lady. Such happen constantly. These ladies didn't cry foul, they moved on with life. One particular Igbo lady I know is in her 40s today and single because she was dating a Yoruba guy in her early 30s for 4 years who promised her marriage, she was happy that she was finally going to get married and her prayer to have a husband was finally answered, only for the guy's mother to reject her because she is Igbo and her son followed his mother's advice. At 36 she was single and dumped, older with fewer prospects of marriage. Now she's in her 40s and she still isn't married yet.
I don't condone tribalism, whatsoever. What happened between the Igbo guy and girl happens constantly within Igbos, Yorubas and Hausas. Some Igbo people date only to separate years after. Same for Hausas and Yorubas. It happens steadily. It isn't unique if that happens between people of different tribes. It all depends on the guy. If he really wants it to happen, it would happen, believe me.
Now, answer me honestly. Had this guy in question been a Yoruba guy, for example, about to dump the girl, say an Igbo girl, would you have opened this very thread in the first place questioning why Yorubas prefer to marry Yorubas? Dont mind them. 3 yoruba men dumped clarion chukwura and we didnt make any noise. Because no one is proposing to her abi her friend, she is creating a thread |

CHM11: I've noticed that Nairalanders based in the USA can write long epistles, couldn't even finish my igbo brother's comment. But I get his point. @bigfrancis21 nice point, but here's my view. Others do it doesn't make I right. Additionally, Nigeria is made up of major 3 regions. North west and east. The people in the North inter marry freely, fulani, gwarri, benue, hausa, Tiv etc....people in the west intermarry freely too, yoruba, egun, badagry, etc. But because tribes in the EAST are much, igbo's don't like marrying others and its justified because it favours them better.
I for example wouldn't want any of family member to marry an igbo man or woman, I'd rather marry a yoruba or even a fulani. This is because I have not had a good experience as regards the igbos I've encountered in life. All in all, igbos!!..marry yourselves, its good for you bcause other tribes will hardly understand your behavior and character. Peter of Psquare married lola omotayo Uzoma, diamond bank MD married Adesuwa. We marry responsible ladies from other tribes. We dont just pick any run of the mill girl and marry just because of love. If we must marry from another tribe, she must be worth it. And if you havent noticed, the latest craze among Yoruba men now is marrying igbo gurls. They are tired of all those black and dirty gehs frm soth waste |
