I think a trader should be consistent in his approach to the market to stay long in this business. Consistency includes staying consistent in his method of analysing the markets, selecting his levels and pois, how to break even, how to take profit, how to partial, what to risk per trade, how to scale in and out, time-frames for analysis and execution etc
Essentially doing the same thing over and over again. If no trade outcome is certain regardless of how beautiful the setup is, why will I increase my risk?

Define ur own risk management style that allows you to survive in the market multiple times. I might see a very clean setup and decide to risk 5% depending If I still meet my daily dollar requirement.

A very clean setup doesn't mean you can't lose boss man. Would you rather lose the 5% at once or trade 5 clean setup with 1% risk each......
Just like we have defensive driving. Me i apply defensive trading...
Moreover as you said there's no general rules to follow. You do what is best for you....

I just got a currency card shipped to me courtesy a health forum I belong to.
I want to ask experienced guys in here how I can put the card to maximal use. It is a prepaid mastercard debit card and also a multi-currency card as it can take both US dollars and Pounds.
I have little amount of dollars loaded on it.
So how do I use the card and what advantages comes with someone resident in Nigeria with this card. I just don't want to under-utilize it so I want guys here to help me make it to full use.

I will appreciate if the mod could help me move it to front page for more contributions.

Banks will never give you that dollars. I think most dollar MasterCard you can only use it to send not receive & the means of deposit is your only means of withdrawal. I"m not sure if you have any stanbic ibtc bank around go & ask they are a little flexible with their forex transactions.

I was thinking if you had someone abroad you send the dollars to them via transfer then let them send you the money back via western union. Not sure if this would work.

All my Life I've been a hustler. 2013 I was a school drop out in 200L due to financial issues. I had no money, no sponsor, my parents were also struggling. I started doing machanic work. I was a machanic for 3-4 years. My boss wasn't paying me well. I couldn't save money at all despite being good at it. And I wanted to go back to school.

2016 i moved to ijebu-ode with a friend to do farm work. He said Diamond Bank bought some acres of land for strictly agriculture including animal farming like fish ponds and poultry, so they need laborers/workers. They're willing to pay 25k monthly. Even aboki too dey apply for the job. Those of you that travels by road would understand how bushy and lonely ijebu-ode express road is. My friend and I was in that bush for over 10 months working our ass out. I was so dark and looking unkept. The job really took my energy that year.

I gathered little money abt 120k and I resigned. I used the money to start okirika (2nd hand clothes) business in kantagua market in Lagos to sustain myself. An old friend of mine in school back then inbox me on Facebook (he's now a graduate) We gist, laugh and exchange contact. He's doing well but He was into yahoo. He invited me to his place in abeokuta. He was actually showing me the way. I didn't like the lifestyle but I have no choice, I began to do yahoo. Over a year I didn't see 1 kobo. But hopes were rising.

2019 I collected abt #3million {6k euro}. It was like a dream, I don't know weda it's God handwork or I'm just lucky. I just remain focus in yahoo, I won't lie. Fast forward to last year June-july I went back to Benin, i met this girl, I told her my hustles and struggles. We started dating early this year. I took care of her. During her nysc I was the one who paid for her accommodation abt 150k.

I wanted to tie the knot. So last week Wednesday I told her about my plans I would like to see her parent for introduction on the 28th next week, since is public holiday. My girlfriend called me at the middle of the night abt 2am telling me "I don't have a degree, I'm not a graduate, I don't have a job. What will I tell her parent when i come for introduction, Her parent won't accept oo I shouldn't bother coming" . It was as if they poured very cold water on my body. She's now giving me attitude.
