Pastor separates fight as two men exchange blows during service in church (Video)

An sight so rare that there is hardly any reported case of such happening inside a church has taken place during Sunday service.

A fight broke out recently between two men in a church while the pastor was preaching the gospel.

In a video circulating online, a man could be seen walking towards another man who sat at the front row, and just as the Reverend was standing on the pulpit ready to minister, the approaching man landed a few punches on the one sitting down.

The man that was hit immediately stood up from his seat and positioned himself as they both exchanged punches.



The fight got so intense that the pastor had to intervene and he even called out one of them by name, Marcus.

'Yahoo Boy', Osa Osaretine On The Run After Hacking His Girlfriend To Death On Christmas Eve

A suspected ‘Yahoo Boy’ identified as Osa Osaretine is currently on the run after his girlfriend, Elohor Nancy Williams, was found dead in his residence at Egor in Edo State.

The suspect who recently returned to Nigeria from Ghana, had on Friday, December 24, invited his girlfriend to his residence. It is reported that when relatives couldn’t reach the victim via phone, they decided to launch a search for her.

“They got to his apartment and found it locked. They broke into it and found Nancy in a pool of her own blood. Some parts of her body had been harvested. Osaretine is nowhere to be found at the moment. We urge the appropriate authorities to assist Nancy’s relatives with meting out justice. They’re heartbroken at the moment as a result of the tragic incident,” a source said.

A suspect, simply known as Osas, is on the run after allegedly killing his girlfriend, Elohor Oniorosa, on Christmas eve in what is suspected to be a ritual killing in Benin, Edo State.

According to the Police spokesperson, SP Bello Kontongs, the father of the deceased, William Oniorosa, reported the case to the police and investigation is on to arrest the suspect.

The PPRO said, “The suspect’s name is Osas and his surname is unknown, who is a boyfriend of Elohor Oniorosa, daughter of one William Oniorosa, who also reported the incident to the police.

“Investigation is on while the suspect is on the run. The Incident happened on the 24th of December 2021,” the PPRO added.

PUNCH Metro gathered that the suspected ‘Yahoo Boy’ ritualist recently returned from Ghana a week ago and allegedly slaughtered his girlfriend in Benin.

The incident was said to have taken place in Egor Local Government Area, outskirts of Benin metropolis, where the suspect also hails from.

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has said that banditry became rampant because of the poverty created by Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

Amaechi, speaking on ‘Hard Copy’ a Channels Television programme, claimed the money Jonathan left for Nigeria after he left office in May 2015, was not enough to run the country for three weeks.

The ex-Governor of Rivers State claimed that while he was chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ forum, he was informed by officials of the Presidency that there was virtually no money left in the treasury.

Amaechi said, “When you talk about bandits and all these people that kill, it’s a question about poverty and it did not start in this regime.



Don’t forget oil was sold at $110, $114, $115 a barrel. When this government came into power, oil fell to $28 a barrel and since then it hasn’t gone above $80 per barrel.

“As former chairman of the governors’ forum, I was told by the security in a meeting chaired by the former President including the former minister of finance that at every point in time, the government must leave money behind in case Nigeria goes to war that would last for six months.

“By the time we came, they didn’t leave money behind that could last us for three weeks. And I was speaking at that time as the chairman of the governors’ forum.”

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and there has not been a report on any lives lost yet. However, people are seen to be looting the store despite being on fire.

Nigerians have taken to the social media page to lament the incident as they recalled that a few months back, a popular supermarket, Ebeano, also caught fire.

However, some people claim that it is suspicious that Ebeano caught fire and just now Next cash and carry also burning down.

A Man strips inside bank after being debited, intimidates staff with his chiseled six packs (Video)

man caused a stir at a bank in Lagos state after money was debited from his account without proper authorization.

He stripped to just a piece of his under wear and was demanding that the money be returned to his account. The man paced around the banking hall while still semi-clad and showing off his six packs.

Some members of staff were trying to calm the unidentified man down but he was not interested in anything that had to say if it was not about him getting his money back. Wife Of Late Man Who Killed Himself Shares Her Own Side Of The Story


According to a video shared by Punch Newspaper, the Wife of Lekan who committed suicide shared her own side of the story.



Recall that on December 16, a video that showed the moment a young boy committed suicide went viral. The young boy who is identified as Lekan Odunare was seen sitting on the rail of the bridge, he jumped into the lagoon before help could get to him. Sources also revealed that the young boy was actually married with a baby.


The young lady who looks like a teenager revealed her name as Rofiat, she is a native of Oyo State. She also revealed her Husband's name as Abdulramon Olamilekan. 



Rofiat revealed that her husband has been talking about suicide for the past 3 days before he actually carried out the act. Sadly no one paid much attention when he was talking about killing himself. She also said that if people had paid attention to him, he would not have resulted in killing himself.

Rofiat explained that people did not believe because they thought he was talking based on the effect of Colorado. When asked if her Husband normally takes Colorado, she said no but he takes Arizona.

18 corps members escape death in Delta bus explosion

No fewer than 18 serving members of the National Youth Service Corps in Delta State escaped death by a whisker when a commercial bus conveying them from the orientation camp at Issele-Uku, in the Aniocha North Local Government Area of the State en route to Warri, went up in flames.

PUNCH Metrogathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday, December 15, 2021.

Sources said the bus suddenly burst into flames along the way, but no life was lost.

It was learnt that some corps members lost their valuables, including luggage and phones, which were burnt in the bus.

The state NYSC Public Relations Officer, Mr Chidi Nnorom, said, “We thank God no life was lost.”

The Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe, could not be reached for comment as of the time of filing this report.

The body of the deceased was found on Thursday, December 16.

Garba Shehu, the Spokesman of President Muhammadu Buhari, has berated Nigerians for only thanking God over the sources of the Buhari administration in tackling the COVID-19 pandemic squarely.

In an article entitled ‘As President Buhari clocks 79, a focus on achievements, challenges’ Shehu, said Nigerians just say ‘thank God’ and move despite Africa and Nigeria being designated for a world record of positive cases and deaths.

The presidential spokesman said the pandemic has thrown the biggest challenge to the Buhari administration.

“For a country and a continent designated for a world record of positive cases and deaths, yet turning in the lowest in terms of numbers, the explanation our people give here is to say ‘Thank God,’ and they move on,” Shehu said.

“Nothing wrong with thanking God for everything that happens or does not, for, without His grace, nothing can truly get done (or undone).

“But the Almighty uses the instrumentality of humans to get some of these things done,” he added, suggesting that the President deserves to be thanked.

Garba Shehu said the Buhari led government believes in science and in doctors in the country who have put in place an effective mechanism to check the spread of the pandemic.

“We are where we are today because this dedicated team has responded in the most capable manner any country could ever do.”

“He gave the experts the latitude of freedom and resources to lead us out of the worst-case scenarios using especially well-thought-out non-pharmaceutical protections and these, in the face of the denial of fair access to vaccines to us by those who make them, have really done us wonders.

“Although high figures for active cases, new cases and deaths are rising lately and a fourth wave is being feared in many quarters, the proven competence of our administrators, whose aptitude, agility and appropriate sense of timing have drawn commendation from no less a body than the United Nations gives us the reassuring solace that we will wade through the muddle by getting it right.

21-year-old man jumps into Lagos lagoon

Lekan Odunare is a National Diploma Certificate holder that reportedly plunged into the Lagos Lagoon in an attempt to commit suicide. This happened around 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to a report by PUNCH Metro, Lekan sat on the rails of a bridge before plunging into the lagoon. From the look on his face, we could see that he was distressed, but suicide is not an option.

An Enugu State polygamist, Chief Simon Odo, also known as ‘Son of Satan’, has died at the age of 74.

Chief Simon Odo was married to 59 wives and had over 300 children and grandchildren before his death.

A video obtained by DAILY POST on Wednesday morning revealed that the deceased has been buried.

According to the video currently making the rounds, the late Odo was interred with a flashy car.

Emeka Odo, one of his sons, had disclosed the report of his death to newsmen on Tuesday.

Emeka told newsmen that Odo, who was a native doctor from Aji in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, prior to his death, warned that his remains should not be taken to a mortuary.

He said: “He has been down with illness for about three weeks now. We are having a family meeting to perfect arrangements for his burial as he left an instruction that we should not put him in the mortuary. Watch Video Here
