Recently, a video of a lovely couple appeared on Instagram Reels which surprised everyone and no one could believe what had happened.

In the video, the and groom are seen sitting at the wedding pavilion together and are seen surrounded by family members. The groom stands up for completing the ceremony of filling the vermilion, but something strange happened and the groom ran away from the pavilion.


As soon as the groom stands to apply vermilion, the bride somehow loses her balance and falls sidewards. Seeing this, the groom suddenly reacts very surprised like he encountered a ghost of some sort and throws his headdress and garland and runs away.

Ruler of Irigwe ethnic nationality in Plateau State, High Royal Highness, Right Reverend Ronku Aka, has made a shocking disclosure on why attacks on his kingdom, and by extention, the Southern Kaduna situation, keeps getting worse.

Ronku who spoke when the president of the Gideon and Funmi Para-Mallam Peace Foundation, Reverend Gideon Para-Malam, led other officials of the non-governmental organisation on a sympathy visit to his palace in Miango, following attacks by herdsmen which cost several lives, said his kingdom is under invasion, and security operatives are under instruction to not intervene.

‌He said that security operatives who were deployed to the communities during attacks, claimed they had no instruction to repel attacks by herdsmen in the region.

He said the destruction that took place in his kingdom had further exposed the helplessness of the governors and the council chairmen as chief security officers in their respective areas. 

“I don’t blame the local government chairman in Bassa or the governor of the state over the calamity that has befallen my people. At peace meetings, the governor will give orders but the security men will go and do a different thing.

Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina says he is surprised to hear people claim the President treats terrorists with kid gloves while going hard on separatists.

Adesina said this amazes him because the Buhari administration, according to him, has made several efforts to curb terrorism.

He said what the Buhari government does daily is to ‘send terrorists to their early grave’.

Why We Prosecute Internet Fraudsters Faster than Suspected Politicians- EFCC Zonal Head Reveals



The Lagos state Zonal Head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ghali Ahmed, has said it is always complex to prosecute suspected politicians. The EFCC boss revealed the reasons why it is easier to arrest and prosecute suspected internet fraudsters (popularly known as Yahoo boys) when compared to politicians.



The government of President Muhammdu Buhari has repeatedly stated that it will not relent in its effort to fight corruption in the country. However, it is popularly believed that corruption fights back. Ghali Ahmed recently shared some of the challenges encountered by EFCC in bringing suspected criminals to justice.



During his interview on TVC, Ghali was asked about the disparity in success rate recorded by EFCC in prosecuting Yahoo boys (internet fraudsters) and politicians. Ghali however responded to the question by saying, "You can establish a case of cybercrime within an hour because it is very straightforward. With the possession of one email scam, you can charge and convict a suspected internet fraudster."

Explaining further, Ghali added, "When it comes to politicians, the case is more complex because it has to do with public funds and money laundering. It could take a year or more to establish such cases. You can establish a case of cybercrime and charge the suspect within a short time, while still trying to establish the case of a politician, and you must have your case established."



Ghali stated that EFCC is succeeding in prosecuting suspected politicians but noted that politicians can afford lawyers which suspected internet fraudsters may not be able to afford. The EFCC boss revealed further that the agency channels more effort into prosecuting suspected politicians than it does in Cybercrime related cases.

Three children in Adamawa State have confessed to turning into cats and lizards and eating human flesh.

The minors, all members of a family from Song town in Song Local Government Area of northern Adamawa, who were accused of witchcraft after their acts were uncovered, confessed to a court in the state capital, Yola, that when diabolically transformed into cat or lizard, they feed on human flesh every three days.

The three kid ‘witches’, aged between seven and twelve, further confessed before Chief Magistrate’s Court 4 in Yola to have bewitched and afflicted a friend of their father, identified simply as Umar, with a strange disease.


The three kids and a woman were brought to court by a community leader, Garkuwan Sarkin Mayun Adamawa, for allegedly bewitching Umar.

In their confessional statements, the children said that initially, they had used demonic powers to bind their father’s friend with rope and iron as directed by the woman.

The court, presided over by Magistrate Adamu Abdulrazak, ordered the children and the woman, identified simply as Handama, to restore Umar’s health.

The oldest of the kids alleged that he was initiated into witchcraft by Handama, and that the woman has six children “and all of them are witches.”


He said the woman initiated him at night while they were neighbours in the same compound, adding that they normally go out for a meeting after every three days, that he turns into a lizard before going out for meeting, where he eats roasted human flesh.

He said he wished to be delivered from witchcraft.

His seven-year-old brother who also spoke said Handama opened his eyes to witchcraft, and he has been a witch for a year.

He said although he has never killed anybody, he has been participating in clandestine night meetings and that operating in the body of a white cat, he eats human flesh at such meetings.

The girl among the three said she has been a witch for three years, and that she operates in the form of a white cow and often inflicts headaches.

Some of them go as far as quoting scriptures like Mathew 21, when Jesus came and took whips and was flogging people out of the temple. Don't take a scripture out of context, when you take a text out of context what is left is con, you can con anybody and swindle anyone when you take a text out of context. Jesus was emphasizing the power of prayer, that is why he said in Mathew21v13, "My father's house should be a house of prayer but you have made it a den of thieves" the part of prayer was actually the emphasis, if you are flogging people as you claim, are you directing them to prayer or are you killing their faith in God.

When you come out and call out ministers of God, you don't balance it by calling people into the place of prayer. As we mature in God there are things we are critical about, things we are angry about but the Holy Spirit would have taken so much of us that we will let go. A pastor may have offended you, a Church may have dealt with you, they may have shattered you and shaken your faith in God, that doesn't mean you should come to the public and begin to ridicule the name of the Lord in trying to call out a pastor or call out a minister of God.

That a man of God make a mistake does not make him a fake pastor or fake prophet, no! There are people who are genuine ministers of God but humanity in them could make them make mistakes, that doesn't mean God has disown them, that doesn't mean God has forgotten about them and many of us today, are out there condemning people over issues that God have forgotten. ‘Someone that is helping the needy and not paying his tithe will soon become one of the needy.’ Those were the words of Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide otherwise known as Winners’ Chapel in a Youtube sermon video.

The living faith Bishop was teaching on the touchy subject of tithing and prosperity. According to Luke 11 verse 42, and Malachi 3. Verses 8 to 10, Oyedepo’s emphasis is on the fact that if you are helping the poor, make sure you are not robbing or defaulting in your commitment to God in the area of tithe.

Tithing and charity are two different things. One does not stop the other.



God wants us to take care of the poor, but he wants us to pay our tithes because tithe is his mechanism of blessing us and causing increase in our lives.


This can also be connected to Jesus’ statement on the same matter- give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God. If you can pay taxes to government, why should you struggle to pay tithe to God?

Based on the principle of spiritual prosperity, Bishop Oyedepo wants us to know that giving to the needy must not replace giving to God. Therefore, if all you do is charity, it is not enough. According to Oyedepo, one will worst off after sometime if one does not pay one’s tithe but only give to the poor.

Bishop Oyedepo is well qualified to speak about tithing and giving. Known as Apostle of Faith, Bishop Oyedepo is a man of tremendous wealth and ‘dangerous giver. Tithing and sowing of seed are big spiritual practices among members of the Winners Chapel worldwide.


These results of these practices are evident in his ministry and other establishments like the two Christian universities in Nigeria alongside his successful Christian publishing among others.

Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has asked Federal Government to immediately proscribe Afenifere and other cultural tribal organisations undermining peace, security and peaceful coexistence of the country as terrorists.

CNG, in a statement issued yesterday in Abuja, by its spokesperson, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, said any individuals as Adebanjo and others associated with such groups or organisations that incite others to violations or openly support acts of terror and terrorist movements should be arrested and decisively dealt with by the authorities.

A Ghanaian lady has narrated how she rejected her boyfriend’s marriage proposal due to the size of his m*nhood.

According to GhGossip, the lady identified as Nana Adwoa shared her story in a radio interview. She stated that her boyfriend’s m*nhood is very huge and she wouldn’t be able to cope during their marriage.

Nana, who spoke in a native Ghanaian language, said she met her boyfriend called Emma through a friend who gave her number to him and they had been talking on phone for some time before they eventually met.

She admitted that the guy is her spec, but after discovering how huge his m*nhood was, she decided to abort the mission and quit the relationship.



Nana also lamented that she struggles anytime she has intercourse with him, and she could no longer bear it.

Gunmen killed 344 Corps Members in the North West Zone in July"- The PUNCH Newspaper



News report from The PUNCH Newspaper (Wednesday) has it that no fewer than 344 members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) were killed in July 2021, in the North West Zone of Nigeria.

The North West Zone of the country has Kaduna, Katsina, Zamfara Kano, Sokoto, Kebbi and Jigawa States.



The insecurity in the region has led to the closure of Schools in Kaduna and Zamfara States. Other States affected by insecurity in July but are not part of the North West Zone include, Benue, Niger and Adamawa. Corps members are mostly posted to Schools for their primary assignment.

According to PUNCH Newspaper, "The figure on the killings and abductions was obtained through a manual tally by The PUNCH and the Nigeria Tracker, a project of the Council on Foreign Relations' an American think tank. The NST report is edited by a former United States Ambassador to Nigeria, John Campbell".

The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has shut down schools due to the insecurity and ongoing military operation to wipe out bandits in the State. Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state has signed into law, the amended private property protection law 2017, a document which banned the notorious Community Development Associations (CDAs).

The law according to Obaseki, prescribed a maximum of five years jail term for offenders and also banned “all sorts of splinter groups like Okaigele or people who have come up to forcefully take other people’s landed properties in their communities”.
The amended bill is among three other bills passed into law by the State House of Assembly and assented to by the governor at the Government House in Benin City.

The governor said, “We have been waiting for this law to reconstitute the committee on protection of private property.

“Now that we have the law, we will be reconstituting this Committee within a fortnight using this law and utilizing more stringent measures to deal with erring individuals or communities trying to dispose innocent individuals of their landed properties.



“We are setting up a special court to swiftly try offenders and if guilty, they will certainly face the consequences.”

Other bills assented to by the governor are: the bill for the establishment of Flood, Erosion and Watershed Management Agency; amendment bill for the harmonized provision of the retirement age of staff of Polytechnics and Colleges of Education 2021.

Obaseki who hailed the legislature for facilitating the harmonisation of the retirement age for staff of polytechnics and other colleges of education in the state, added, “I thank you from heeding to the call of citizens.”

The UK Parliament has said that Nigerians under President Muhammadu Buhari administration are at the mercy of non-state actors who unleash attacks on individuals and communities at will.

Members of the House of Lords, the upper chamber of the parliament; Caroline Cox, Rowan Williams, David Alton, Mervyn Thomas and Ayo Adedoyin; expressed their fears in a protest letter to Dominic Raab, UK foreign secretary.

Citing the shooting down of the Nigerian Air Force fighter jet by bandits, they expressed worry that the country was now under the control of non-state actors unleashing terror at will, particularly in the North-East and North-West.

“An intense gunfire from bandits caused an aircraft returning to base from a mission on the Zamfara-Kaduna border to crash.



“We fear that Nigerian citizens are now at the mercy of non-state actors who have been allowed to evolve and now have the capacity to shoot down a fighter jet, as has recently occurred in Kaduna.

“These non-state actors are currently unleashing terror at will, particularly in the North-East and North-West,” the letter said.

Recall that Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State had raised an alarm over the displacement of many residents by the insurgents around Munya and Shiroro, adding that the terrorists placed their flag in Kauri.

The Head Corporate Communication at Kaduna Electric, Abdulazeez Abdullahi promised that electriccity will be restored once the national grid is back.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s senior media adviser, Femi Adesina, has said that agitators of disintegration of the country deserve “to be sent to God” to answer for their “crimes”.

Adesina echoed the words of the Chief of Army Staff, Farouk Yahaya, who had recently warned bandits and other criminals that his men would continue to send them to their creators to “answer for their crimes”.

According to the presidential aide, “a bad guy is a bad guy” irrespective of whether he is an insurgent, a bandit, kidnapper, secessionist, insurrectionist or cultist.

Adesina said this in an opinion piece titled “May God Bless Our Troops”, which he wrote to praise the gallantry of Flight Lieutenant Abayomi Dairo, the Nigerian Air Force officer who escaped death after bandits reportedly shot down a military jet he flied last week.

“May He preserve them, keep them alive, and give them victory, as they deal with the bad guys, and give them bloody noses round the country.

“Who are the bad guys? They come under different appellations. Insurgents. Bandits. Kidnappers. Secessionists. Insurrectionists. Cultists. Murderers. Whatever.
