Bought the A3 Pro when it launched the phone is bad now but it was my fault I slammed it against the wall multiple times during an argument but it survived later I was beaten by rain in an open field the rain the water soaked the phone up to the extent it was visible inside the screen. I tried my best and the phone tried it's own too without repair it lasted for 1month + before it succumb to the damages. I must say the device was a tough one I used it for 2 years. People hardly believe cause it looked brand new. |
Mumu them day shout, Obi go win Akiku for North win Tinubu for West. The people registering now why didn't they register then? The outcome of this election will shock everyone. |
People way I first enter school don come meet me some don pass self. ASUU want we the students to sacrifice, na so I be Jesus why they no fit sacrifice UTAS make we know say na 50-50. |
HIV is not as serious treatments now for it are as effective as ever. Had a relative with it when test are done the results comes out negative cause he has been taking his retroviral drugs. So it's impossible to transmit it at this level even with intercourse he can't still transmit it but missing doses of the drugs might lead to drug resistance from the virus. |
Concerning the fact ASUU denied having any meeting with the Minister of Labour, I think Ngige should mind his business he has done alot already. For me ASUU hates that guy and he hates ASUU so discussion between both parties can never have a meaningful outcome as we have seen in the past. The Negotiation is between ASUU and Ministry of Education, ASUU has warned him to leave them and the ministry of Education to iron things out and I feel he (Ngige) should respect himself after all when progress was been made with the Briggs committee he was no where to be found. I can tell you 40% of ASUU's problem is Ngige. For me ASUU pressing for UTAS has some hidden agenda to it cause IPPIS was in operation since around 2006 so Buhari wasn't the one who introduced it and it's main aim is to capture ghost workers and if ASUU is allowed to have UTAS other bodies will develop their own which I feel it's kinda lame, so for UTAS I disagree with ASUU, if they claim IPPIS doesn't suit Education, what will those in Health, Military, Paramilitary, etc then say . In my opinion ASUU strike is for their own reasons they just use revitalization to deceive the masses it for the students also I would love for NANS to be among the negotiation table if only they were no political organization. Another important part I forgot, FG is the cause of all these nonsense their bad government and method of approach is killing education. My own opinion though.

The negotiation is between ASUU and Ministry of Education so Ngige is a third party |

So do what pleases thou. Hit and run driver , you day date and whip person daughter and you no want make people see una together with same outfit. Lol |
Am not sure but I know for sure the strike will be called off soon. My problem now is not the end of strike but the workload waiting for me in school. |
Sacramento85:Oga go do research the university system is not different from the other systems even the Whites use IPPIS ASUU just wants to save their a**. |
See ASUU are still going to strike if you give them everything in the national Budget. Just like FG ASUU are their own cabal |

Moferere:So you think we South_south will vote Tinubu or Atiku? Grow up dude the game will change this time around it's a 3 - way deadlock |
Comrades suffer no dey tire una |
Good day Nairalanders You know concerning this ASUU STRIKE and the way the government is handling it we must agree it's totally unacceptable. FG are motherfv*caz but in my own opinion ASUU have their own cabal in this country even if you give them US or Europe like Educational Budget and system they will still find a way to strike. The Union makes it look like it's for our own interests but deep down are they sure? Fighting the government that will leave power next year is useless you might have an agreement with them today and the next president will tell you he doesn't like the agreement or the situation at hand can't make them honour the agreement. I fault FG badly for their poor intervention and careless character and as for NANS those guys are just another political party. They might make it look like they are fighting for the students but lemme ask you who are they punishing FG, Themselves or the Students. |
Planting it is not the problem the problem is when 7G come how will they implant it too |
Like it or not even if We bring American or British education pattern here ASUU will still strike for something. ASUU get their own Kabal for this country. FG na waste we all knows that.

The Federal Government has continued its negotiations with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) as the strike by the lecturers enters its fourth month. A meeting between the striking lecturers and the Professor Nimi Briggs Committee, however, ended without a concrete agreement as members planned to reconvene within 24 hours to consider a draft agreement. Talks between both parties were held on Monday at the Nigeria University Commission (NUC) in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). A senior member of the union who attended the meeting told Channels Television that they reached some agreements with the Federal Government, but members had to break and reconvene within 24 hours to consider the new terms in the draft agreement. The Federal Government set up the committee led by Professor Briggs on March 7 with a three-month mandate to renegotiate the 2009 ASUU/Federal Government agreement. The government had tasked the committee to ensure the renegotiation brings an end to the ongoing industrial action by the university lecturers. Three months after it was inaugurated, the committee met with the lecturers but also failed to reach a final agreement that could end the strike that has crippled academic activities across government-owned universities. ASUU embarked on a nationwide strike on February 14 over the adoption of the Integrated Personnel Payroll Information System (IPPIS) as the payment system in the university sector. Members also decried the poor funding of universities, non-payment of salaries and allowances of some of their colleagues, as well as the inability of the government to pay earned academic allowance to lecturers, among other issues. Since the industrial action began, several negotiations between the union and the government have ended in deadlock – a situation that was condemned by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). khingTony:As a God fearing comrade I will say this on a neutral ground. Both FG and ASUU are the problem of Nigerian students. Believe it or not the ASUU cabal is a dangerous one for this country. |
Reality3080:But las las you know Eribaba it's not about the song bro na the message. I rather hear Erigga song than to listen to yansh, whine, trash words with no meaning. |
Etinosa1234:Bro you feel am Erigga na bomb just that the industry na mumu industry. Erigga lyrics go give you voltage ⚡ |
The best we can do is hope and pray, next week might yield good results. |
Make ASUU just cancel school abeg make them rest, FG too go rest, me go rest and you too go rest. |
The words coming out of some people in this Nairaland mouth is just useless. I don't know why we think Nigerians politicians are smart they are nothing in the global space. They make useless decisions that cast suffering on the people. I see nothing to learn from someone like Tinubu where did he started from, what is his business and how did he got the money he is flaunting. |
Haywhymido:Oga shut your dirty mouth, I just dislike some of all these Nigerians for Christ sake they are to cheap. Sell yourselves at no price. |
Comrade who we go believe now. Meeting everytime, 1 week for meeting 1 week again to comply report another 1 week for the meeting to end in deadlock and ASUU to blast FG then 3 weeks break and they cycle begins again. |
The national president of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Prof Emmanuel Osodeke, has said the warning strike embarked upon by the union on February 14, would soon be truncated. The ASUU national president stated this yesterday while speaking on the Human Rights Radio, producers of the popular national radio/TV programme, Brekete Family Show. He blamed the minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, for politicising the strike which has failed to yield positive results. “When this thing started, the minister of labour took over the control of this process and politicised it, looking for press conferences but I can assure you on this issue now, presently the minister of education is handling it and we are making some good progress. “I hope it continues this way and within a short time, God helping, and if there are no third parties, we believe that this thing will be resolved very soon.” Meanwhile, Osodeke has pleaded with Nigerian students to continue to support the union in the struggle to improve the university system in the country. He, therefore, urged them to vote against politicians whose children are not in Nigerian universities and do not have their medical files in Nigerian hospitals. “For these students who are struggling with us, I have been seeing their struggle in recent times, which is quite good. “I want to appreciate you, I want to tell you that what you are doing is for prosperity, the suffering you’re passing through you are doing it for prosperity so that in future when you sit down in a classroom, when your children sit down in classroom, they will sit there with children of ministers, children of governors, the children of president, the children of president of other countries. “In those days you don’t know the difference between the child of a driver and that of the president in a classroom, but all those things are missing, they have sent all their own abroad using our resources, we want all those things to come back to how it was. “That is how we are struggling. So that when you are like me in future you will say that during our time we struggle to bring our university to a standard that all of us are attending, that is why we are struggling. “I know is hard but know that you are struggling for your children, your grandchildren and for others who will come after you to ensure that Nigerian universities compete with any university in the world, that they have universal students and university infrastructure, that is why this struggle is on and we must all struggle together to ensure that the political class bring their children back to Nigerian universities. “Our challenge in this election is that any politician whose Children are not in Nigerian university should not be voted for, any politician who does not have his medical file in a Nigerian hospital should not be voted for, those are the two things we should do in this forthcoming election.” He further said the Union’s major problem with the government is not the fund but lack of commitment. “If the government wants to resolve this issue before the end of this week it can do so.” Speaking on the issue of Joint Admissions And Matriculations Board (JAMB), collecting money from students while universities remained closed, he said the Board’s power needs to be reduced. “JAMB is the one admitting, universities have lost it completely. Rather than universities doing admission it is done by JAMB and all they want is to recover money and charge all sorts of things, now returning money to federation accounts. “Should the money collected from students as JAMB fee be a source of revenue for Nigeria as a country? Is that right? There is a need to look at JAMB law to remove all this power from JAMB, remove this money collection from JAMB and let every university admit their students and monitor them by NUC which is the regulatory body. “Nigeria needs to grow up and look at what the world is doing, there is no country in the world where you have JAMB, made up of non-academics admitting students for all the Universities in the country,” he added. LEADERSHIP earlier reported that the human right radio campaigner, Ahmed Isah, popularly known as the Ordinary President, has commenced fundraising campaign to help the government raise 18million for ASUU within a period of two weeks. Isah, who stated that he has only nine days remaining to fulfil the promise, said ASUU will be appearing on the show Saturday to discuss more on the issue.
