That story about northerners filling up everywhere is untrue, we have more southerners & middle beltans in the service, what people don't understand is that appointment is different from career progression....

We can't discount parapo in appointment, Nepotism is everywhere, it's not right,but that's life....

When Jona came to power he appointed SE/SS mostly, you can't expect northerner not to do same..

Civil service is not like private establishment, posting & secondment affects promotions....5 people who got into service same day won't get promoted same period, state quota & Fed xter also have effect on civil service....

Former Perm sec of Min of health, Linus Awute became a perm sec while his peers were still Dep. Directors cos Rivers didn't have any officer above his level as at that time to fill the state's quota..

The present perm sec, Amina Shamaki was due to retire a month or two before she had to fill Sokoto's quota & could now stay for 8yrs more..

It's beyond how you are viewing it..... Just do a detailed research , will clear up grey areas... Thanks..

It was an emergency!

3rd economy in the world by whose rating? it is as useless as the paper on which it is written! 3rd economy and Nigerians gleefully changed such government that brought a wonderful miracle of a 3rd economy? nonsense!

The truth is that with the fall in crude's price and PDP s unbridled stealing culture GEJ wouldn't have been able to manage this nation now cos he lacks the character and the will to confront the looming socioeconomic crisis ahead. or how do you want me to explain waiting for 18 days before ascertaining that chibok girls had been kidnapped by the C-in -C? or giving waivers to rice importers n in the same breath talking about promoting local production? is it the inability to make a refinery work for 6 years? or his submitting his government to Dasuki ? or his 'PhD' not robbn off on petchie'?

Sorry we Nigerians have submitted this sovereignty to PMB to salvage in the next 4 years and he hasn't even spend a year . Some folks spent 6 or 16 years and put us in this mess that PMB is cleaning presently ,and he needs no distraction . God bless Nigeria!

Ibo men are known to be very masculine, robust, powerful, and physically fit. Is it that the Ibos are afraid of the fulanis? I think the answer is yes. And just so you know, I lived many years of my life in the North too and I was directly, I repeat, I was directly affected by the Boko Haram insurgency. However, I won't go the cheap route which our politicians have taken and say it's a religious thing because IT ISN'T.

You were bias bro because you made it seem Christians are more affected by the Boko Haram insurgency than Muslims. I can't even recall the last time a church attack was carried out but this year alone there have been more than 5 mosque bombings. As for the Chibok girls, its only coincidental that the school seem to have more of Christian students. Before and after the Chibok incident, there have been many more kidnappings of school children and whole communities where Christians are not so dominant. Remember the massacre in the all boys school? All the suicide bombings in the markets and IDP camps did not in anyway discriminate whether victims were Christians or Muslims.

My point? The insurgency is not favouring one religion above the other. Mind you, I'm specifically criticising your 3rd point.
