Got a full-ride fellowship to do a Ph.D. in the US. Got an industry job a few months before defending my thesis... and the rest is history.

Was 90% through my NYSC when the opportunity came. The cost was minimal - only needed ~N200,000 for a flight ticket + $1000 pocket money. I was paid a monthly stipend that took care of living expenses.
congratulations for achieving this great feat. Would you advice someone to relocate to the US through study route? MSC or PhD which one is better? Is there job readily available after school or it's mainly based on one field/area of specialization? Thanks

It surely is the fathers fault, u can’t tell me otherwise…cause there’s no way this kid can intervene if it hasn’t been happening for a long while and by the looks of it the father is full of domestic abuse… rip to the deceased sha
yeah

The man is probably a violence man. The boy can't take it anymore. Only a foolish child will watch his father beating up his mother every now and then.

I didn't support the child killing his father though. Funny enough, the little boy probably didn't do it intentionally

You're burning candles to study for exams, someone else is talking to the mum to buy your results
you're right.

While in school, some students don't read and they bribe lecturers to pass them. I have them in my class then. They naturally bribe their way out of school. Sadly, some of these students are presently working in top federal government parastatals. I wonder how they got it. Most of these students are Yahoo guys. While we're busy reading, they parade themselves around the school laughing and making mockery of us.

Some of them had relocated to UK being one of the easiest country to get visa provided one has the fund.

They literally make hardwork somewhat useless seriously. They enjoy cutting corner.

yes, he exploited the boy. However, his other siblings kidney probably didn't match with sonia's kidney. You never can tell.

I don't understand you, do you have any disparity on your NIN and other bio data?
I haven't gone for capturing. I don't have disparity on my NIN and application. I only observed that my NIN verification wasn't matked like others.

Is there possibility for them to spot disparity in my NIN and application when i haven't come for capturing? Or was it because i haven't paid for NIN verification fees? I only paid 26k online

Hope all your details are the same
yes, they are the same. Someone said since i haven't gone for capturing that's how it will be until i get captured. How do i confirm my NIN details please?

This error means that there’s disparity between the data provided on your passport application form and NIN. I would advise you to visit the NIN office in your state for clarification and/or correction.
Since you have not capture, it would be like that. On the day of your capturing, your NIN would be verified, and if successful, it would also mark like others.

This was what crowther15 said. What should i do now? I haven't done capturing

Please change or correct your marital status before applying because disparity between the data you provide on your passport application form and NIN will result to NIN error.
please bro, my capturing is in two weeks time from now. I checked my application status

Paid was marked
Application sent was marked
Application recieved was marked
Ready for enrolment was marked

But NIN verification wasn't marked. It showed pending for verification, something like this ❌

Any cause to worry about?
Family › Re: Free Bus Ride For School Children, FBRSC. by VTJN(m): 6:36pm On May 03, 2023
Lifeinlight:
There is so much unrest in the world today- especially in Africa where there are so many young people living in deplorable conditions and abject poverty. The gap between the rich and poor keeps widening. About 8-10% of the world's wealthiest control 90% of the wealth. Its a similar situation in Nigeria. It's also amazing how underdeveloped Charity is in Nigeria. We've got so many wealthy folks who can make a huge difference in their communities. Poverty persists in all countries of the world, regardless of their economic, social and cultural situation. Particularly, in developing nations.

Considering the harsh economy in Nigeria, costly Gasoline and much predicted subsidy removal on fuel in coming months. My team and i have come up with the idea of having an NGO that'd be responsible for Fare-free public transit as a form of humanitarian service to the masses. Our aim is mainly to ease the burden of mobility in the public. We'd be targeting students for now, all students will be entitled to board free public transit via a card that'd be issue to them. The card would serve as a ticket to their various destination daily. It amazed me seeing lots of students loitering around the streets of Lagos and other part of the country trekking or waiting for bus by 10am when ordinarily they ought to be in their various classrooms. The likes of Luxembourg, Malta, Estonia et al, provides free public transit to their residents.

We're at the start up stage and we're soliciting for the public support so that this project can become a reality. We hope to kickstart this initiative with at least 3 buses. On that note, we'd be looking forward to sponsorship, donations, support from individual person (in Nigeria and diaspora) Government, Religious leaders, Institutions, Social groups, Philanthropists etcetera.

With our collective efforts, this nation will be great.
This really make lots of sense. If you can also write proposal to government agencies and private sector. This is commendable

Bro u mind all people trying to discourage people from migrating overseas. This is my take, if u re doing well in Nigeria then u have no business coming here, but if u want to come here come in legally and u will be fine. Work dey and opportunities abound here the choice is urs. Since I came into the US as a child of an American citizen I have never regretted moving here, my only pain is that came in here in my late 30s.
interesting

I'm tired of this country seriously. Person finish school with almost first-class, no job. Nothing nothing. I wonder how they expect someone to feed or survive. Everybody can't go into crime to survive na. Person no just understand this life seriously

Good morning
I did capturing at the alausa office, DIY on Mar. 28

And it's showing me Passport in Production,

Please when is it going to be out?
please did you went there before your capturing date? I mean did you get your guarantor form stamped at the high court before going for capturing or you did everything the very day of capturing?

I would suggest that you get the guarantor's form stamped at the High Court before your appointment day. To be on a safe side, fill every part. If you have any questions on how to fill the guarantor's form, feel free to ask me. DO NOT TYPE.  The form must be filled in blue or black ink.
please is it true that they'd need one guarantor in person before they can sign or stamped the guarantor form at the court?
