pampem: Hello, takes about 4 to 6weeks depending on the program. I applied for PHD Eco and a friend did for Msc Agric biz. We got decisions in 4 and5 weeks respectively after submission of complete application package. Just that I really do not know the basis of their decisions as per international students considering the fact that funding is involved. You can as well send a mail to your grad cordinator if it's taking longer than usual. For undergraduate studies,I do not have an idea. Hope this helps. All the best. thanks 4 d info |

Shyee: ah ah Check google and the school's official site. Look, if you really want to do this thing you can. Each department has its own site, on the site, there are profiles of each of these Doctors. On their profile, and interests you can write your SOP to them. Please do as I said.
On the other hand, thanks for this post, you just opened my eyes to the need to contact potential supervisors again. I now know what to write in the bid to show them I am the ideal student they want. Please do same. okay, thanks man |

Shyee: that is Manitoba, ryt? I experienced the same, but like one or two got back to me, said they don't take on new research student as at then, like 4-5 months ago. Most of them just ignored the mail. Then on to MUN, sent mail to all in my department too, the dean got back to me. Said I could go ahead with application, though I didn't secure a Supervisor. Well, I took the leap of Faith. End point: contact your dean of faculty, tell him of it all, then follow his advise. Also, you may need to call o. (I don call Manitoba tire before I change my mind... Lols... Guessed they were on break then sha.) Peace Yes ooo manitoba, thet thing tire me ooo I will do like u said, contact the dean. |
