Something has been happening around me and to say the truth I am a bit scared. I am a student of one of the Southern Universities. I have only one year left in the school

I am not a cultist, never has been, never made use of their handshake. I make sure not to wear the clothes of colors the claim to be theirs. Though I know a bit about it as an area boy but I have never been involved in any cult matters before. I'm the calm type actually.

So recently cult happenings keep happening around me and to people around me. I came back to write my semester exam to find out that someone close to me was beaten by them. This keep happening and today was my turn. I was able to stand them off alone and warm the leader never to try such rubbish again because I know him. But I'm afraid this will get worst and might affect my life in a way I didn't plan. To be honest I am vengeful with pride but I will never cause a trouble first, I pray to God to lead me through this part. It's an interesting story and I hope this storms blows over but more importantly I pray to live to be the one to tell the story.

I'm scared of what I might become of I choose to fight back.
I will try to stay out of trouble for the meantime.

I don't know if I need an advise or I am writing a diary.

I remember when I was in secondary school, I sent Uche my classmate to buy bread for me and promised to give him half of the bread if he succeeds to leave the gate and buy it (Na for boarding school).

I was surprised when I saw him coming back from the gate with the bread, I wanted to ask him "Oboy how far, how did you do it", but baba was more like "Nna cut my own bread let me eat it here".
Me I was like, "guy wait nah, we still dey road. If we enter hostel I go run am for u". But he insisted I must cut his share for him there.
Me I no sabi wetin to do nah, so I cut him own give am...

Na so baba straight up reject bread suddenly ask me why I go dey cut bread for am..
I no understand wetin dey happen, untill I see say our school uncle dey come for my back and him Don sight am, so he dey act like me and am no get business.

The uncle flogged me so bad for cutting bread and eating it in the middle of the road, na wetin Uche cause that day, but no be that one pain me..
