Like the Akatsuki they were mercenaries for hire and they were so popular that when one group hired either the clan, its opponents would automatically hire the other clan. So their competition was already on. It would be too much of a stretch for me to swallow that these two (Hashirama and Madara) built their clans' beef, fueled the competition and then still had time to form Konoha when they were like in their early 30s. It just squeezes too much into a very short time frame and what is most annoying is that there seems to be no constraint on Kishi to compress the time skip like this so why is he telling such a silly story?

It seems you have difficulty following the story. While the uchiha and senju were already formed groups. It does not stop madara and harashima from meeting because from the scenario pictured from the flash back, the world was at a semi peaceful state then. And early 30s is even enough time for them to do all that because if they became clan leaders at the age of twenty then they had 10years from then till the formation of Konoha which is enough for them, also take note that according to itachi madara and his bro got their Mangeykyo in their late teens. Check out itachi, who mastered the sharingan at the age of 8, became an anbu captain at 13 and at the time of the first part was aged 17/18 with some experience in the Akatsuki, assuming nothing had happened to the uchiha and his father had died, he would have become the clan leader at that age.

alright after reading this last chapter, i don't want to hear the voice of any uchiha fanboy AGAIN!!!! wetin una dey talk? una no see wetin harashima bring out? that thing made the nine tails look like a puppy. I'm sure that if the nine tails had been in control of his own body and had seen that thing, he would have run for his dear chakra!! And as it stands now, i don't think that if harashima won and madara was at the point of death as he(madara) said, that madara was able to obtaint the DNA of harashima just like that, i sort of agree with what somoeone said that perhaps harashima healed him by putting some of his dna in him. mehn harashima is the bomb, who were those looking for upgrade well you have it

I just tested this stuff extensively today after noticing it. I wasn't able to connect throughout today on my mobile phone, it would try to connect then stop. I came back home this evening and then decided to try Glosecure APN thinking it was an APN problem BUT EVEN GLOSECURE DID NOT WORK.) connected phone to system to use as modem and i tried it again, using blackberry.net, it connected and stayed but there was internet data transfer, it was just there, switched the APN to glosecure while still on Pc and it did not even connect.
Back on phone i got the same results for blackberry.net and glosecure, then i now decided to try gloflat and it worked..

Conclusion:. It's obviously a network problem because even glosecure was not working. I think both APNs are suffering from overload and are being upgraded

My Guy it's not about big guns oh. one thing i love about itachi is the fact that it is mostly his intellect he uses when fighting, i believe that given the chance (and possibly the same chakra level as madara, just the same chakra level, nothing more) Itachi can beat madara. one thing that Harashima might have is the intellect or the cunning (take naruto for example) or he might have some jutsus that he never used on madara during their last fight because we all agree that he was head and shoulders above madara in their last fight

Excuse me Sir . The age at which madara was when he died is that the age that he is at now in his Edo tensei form? Don't forget that Oro was the one that resurrected the first both times, so he could have done what Kabuto did with madara before he (oro) brought him back the first time (chuunin arc).
And also recall that Nagato absorbed positive chakra from naruto and became younger and revitalised (full prime) but still lost to itachi and the Jinchuriki.
As for the eyes of itachi part we've discussed it before, Nagato had madara's eyes before he died which are now in Obito but madara was resurrected with his eyes, so also itachi.

Stop counting the Juubi, both madara and obito are worried that when the Juubi does the final transformation they would not be able to control it... So you can't count something you can't control An ally.
As for the rinnegan, a good point is that the first has probably not seen the rinnegan before but he will be adequately briefed about what it can do by naruto. The rinnegan cannot do anything new that we've not seen before, it's just the degree that differs.
The first just needs one partner to fight madara, either his brother, or minato, naruto can handle obito and the Kyuubi..
One on one it would seem that madara has the upper hand but from what i've seen so far in naruto the first would win, they are at most even now and instead of an upgrade, you'll see that first did not use all his jutsu against madara in that first...

by the acquisition of the 1st hokage dna cells madara can perform all the jutsu that made the 1st hokage the badaass that he is today he has the wood technique,he can control the tailed beast,he can perform the famous wood release technique all this plus his regular jutsu's and the added benefit of the rinnegan come if kishi is not a senju we know who would win this without bias.the madara-hasirama will be a one on one thing I don't think any right thinking shinobi will chook head inside.

Getting the cells does not make you know all the jutsu's that Harashima can do. Wasn't Orochimaru augmenting his edo tensei with energy from possessing a Zetsu Body? Madara has some cells doesn't mean he equals the first hokage mehn
