I was not asking my question from the manual angle, didn't the sage give birth to the ancestor of the uchiha? and then also the senju? how come somewhere in the past that an uzumaki did not marry an uchiha or a senju marry an uchiha and bring forth someone with the rinnegan? If the sage of six paths was changed from his transplant so much that he was able to pass down a transplanted doujutsu and obviously the dna of the two children can be recombined to give the original (meaning that the original dna history is still preserved as well known by those who wrote the uchiha scroll, why can't it happen via birth of someone, for all we know the uchiha scroll might also have it there that is it possible through that means. whay hasn't it happened yet?
Even when madara obtained the DNA while he had the ems why didn't it appear immediately?

It is a big assumption that he did not have the rinnegan before fighting the nine tails. another question is that how come the sage did not just make one of his sons a jinchuuriki?

But that is neither here nor there. What I have not seen is convincing argument for which the eyes cannot be the Juubi's . Say, for the sake of argument, I agree that the rinnegan was the old Sage's, then, can you tell me why it has never again surfaced in all these long years? If you hold that the Sage evolved into awesomeness and the Rinnegan before taking on the Juubi, from what did he evolve and why is he the only one that did evolve?

Yes it was that uncontrollable, remember that madara said that he needs to become the juinchuriki in order to control the juubi better and in order to become the jinchuuriki, he needs to be alive, not an edo tensei summon so since they are trying to control it externally, they need to put all their hands on deck, using both harashima's mokuton style and their sharingan/rinnegan combo

hmmm so many theories here, one thing i know is that the sage had to have some kind of juice in order to beat the ten tails or does anyone else not agree with me that there is no level of uzumaki life force energy that can help you survive from the tailed beast bomb of th juubi, besides the thing can blow you apart before you even get near the juubi because as we know, the tools that we saw need to be applied close range in order to be effective.

Ihedinobi: Obito already knew of Nagato before the Akatsuki ish. Madara had already said enough for us to assume that he told him where to look for the kid who had his rinnes. Zetsu pointed him out too before he approached him.

There was one scene before the kids came together and before they ever met Jiraiya where Nagato used the rinnes. It was, as far as we were shown, the first time he ever used the rinnes. In that scene, Nagato killed the Leaf shinobi that killed his parents. What we can conclude from that is that he had the rinnes from a very early age. That would mean that he was either born with them, or he awoke them very early or else he was really the kid Madara transplanted his rinnes into.

Now we know of only two kinds of doujutsu: the Sharingan of the Uchiha and the Byakugan of the Hyuuga. We also know that the Sharingan specifically descended from the Rinnegan. What we can do with the Byakugan is speculate, ams it is not necessary to do so here. We know that the only people who vould awaken the Sharingan were the Uchiha because their ancestor received the eyes of the Sage of Six Paths. It only follows that they should also be the only ones that can awaken the Rinnegan. Unless, of course, there is a sort of reincarnation of the Sage and even then we cannot be sure that that reincarnation would have the rinnes because it really is very possible that the Rikudou gained the Rinnegan from being the Juubi Jinchuuriki.

So, we can say for argument's sake that what is known for sure is that only the Uchiha, and maybe the Senju, can attain the Rinnegan. As far as we know, Nagato was not Uchiha, he was Uzumaki. As far as we know, Madara was Uchiha. As far as we knpw, Madara survived his last fight with Hashi. We can conclude also, given the evidence that Hashi was far more powerful than Madara, that Madara indeed fought Hasho that last time specifically to obtain his dna. We can also conclude that that was necessary because we know that as the sharingan evolves, it is more and more able to decipher the writings on ancient Uchiha scrolls that hold the secrets of the Rinnegan. These scrolls are a possibility because the Uchiha are direct descendants of the Rikudou whom we know to bw the first human to possess Rinnes.

It is reasonable then to believe that Madara who had the Eternal Mangekyou which was the highest Sharingan attainable should have been able to discover information from the scrolls that told him how he could get the rinnes and that this information must have informed that last fight wjich he must have undoubtedly known that he would lose. His goal must have been to survive the fight with Hashi's dna in his possession and make it look loke he was dead so that he wouldn't have to worry about pursuit as he worked out his plans for Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Thus, Madara must have gained the rinnes as he said that he did. He must have transplanted them too to ensure that they hung around even after he died. He would need them, first of all, to be revived, and second, to carry out Infinte Tsukuyomi. He would pick an Uzumaki if something about them suggested ability to wield the rinnegan. If that something was the fact that the Rikudou was Uzumaki, suddenly it all makes sense. He picked Nagato because Nagato's body could handle the rinne just like Naruto's could handle the kyuubi and Gaara's the ichibi.

He would tell Obito to keep an eye on the young man and in due time persuade him to resurrect Madara who would reclaim his rinnes, reassemble the bijuus and seal the resultant juubi into his body allowing him to activate Infinite Tsukuyomi.

If all this is true, and it probably is, in fact it is hehehe, then it is not accidental at all that Nagato had the rinnes. He would have to have been Uchiha to be born with them, but he wasn't. He would also have to have been Uchiha or the Juubi Jinchuuriki to have awakened them, but he wasn't either. He was most likely a transplant destination for an aging Madara with a long-term ambition.

For the first bolded part, how are we sure that it is only the uchiha and the senju that can awaken the rinnegan? A good question is what about the byakugan? And i still don't believe that the doujutsu can from being the jinchurriki of the juubi, after all no where is it stated that a doujutsu can manifest from a mere combination of physical and mental chakra or something of the sort, doujutsu are a form of kekkai genkkai, it is a hereditary thing as we know, passes down from parent to child, if he got it from the juubi, how did he pass it down? something that was not in his blood line at all? Or should we agree that if some one like kakashi were to have a child with someone, the child would have the sharingan?

Another point is that before discarding the byajugan as speculative because we do not know the source, note that the first son of the sage did not have eiher the sharingan or the byakugan? he had a different type of doujutsu all together and if we all agree the he is the progenitor of all doujutsus then we can say that the byakugan and the sharingan descended from him.
Some one was saying that it is possible that nagato was probably distantly related to the uchiha, i considered it and even though it is not true in nagato's case it presents a very interesting loop hole or uncertainty which is this :
We know that the rinnegan has not been seen since the sage of six paths and that is why the whole shinobi world believed it was myth, my question to you guys is this "If it requires a senju with uchiha dna or a uchiha with senju dna to awaken the rinnegan, how come it never occurred that by chance a senju married an uchiha when the going was good and they gave birth to a son or daughter with the rinnegan?or that someone with the byakugan married an uzumaki or that an uzumaki came together with an uchiha or something like that?

Another point on which i disagree with you is that where was it said in the manga that madara fought the first just for the purpose of obtaining his DNA, and did you just say that madara knew that he would undoubtedly lose the match, i think we both got different messages from the manga showing their fight because the madara i saw there was very confident that he could beat harashima this time. i rather favour the theory that harashima let him live (the reasons should be obvious all things considered), and that he just used the dna for the healing properties inherent in it.

Lol this manga is a beautiful thing,who remembers a particular quote in the manga were madara looked at obito from the side and said he was acting like he used to when he (madara) was still evil? i think it was somewhere after they joined up forces

Why would I be dodging and being "trickish", dude? Is there some sort of prize involved for winning an argument on a faceless forum such as this? I don't gain or lose by your accepting my arguments, I only gain when someone deals with argument conscientiously. It's very annoying when it's only a senseless tug of war. Now, where was it said in the manga that it was only in terms of power that the Sennin was no longer human? Is it just because it fits better with your argument that you qualify Tobi's statement? Tobi was asked how a human being could accomplish what the Rikudou Sennin did and he answered with "as the jinchuuriki of the juubi, the rikudou sennin was already beyond what we would call 'human'". Why do you say it was only in terms of power?

If what Tobi said was true, then indeed, some rules that apply to normal humans and ordinary shinobi might not apply to the Sennin. As long as there is that possibility, your questions are answered and it is very possible and very reasonable that the Rikudou Sennin was indeed an Uzumaki from whom sprang the two bloodlines - Senju and Uchiha.

Ha i found one loophole which i am curious about. how can you pass on stolen eyes? and how the the big eyes of the Juubi enter the small eye socket of the sage of six paths? and finally who said that the Juubi's eyes were rinnegan, they look more like a rinnegan and Sharingan combo to me.

And i still don't get how the juubi is related to all the chakra in the world and the origin of ninjutsu, did the sealing of the juubi inside a man automatically activate everyone's knowledge of ninjutsu?

Truth be told it seems like glo speed has picked up since i started using gloflat apn here in benin, i remember getting 256kb/son my phone early this morning, my perception of glo is beginning to change. Hey Oga it have do, glo just did the unforgivable and you're still bashing the network that has chosen to remain stable. i had not yet subscribed for my own glo Bis when i was helping a friend work on his and you can imagine how i felt when i waited for 10 mins just to download 2.8MB because the speed was a measly 4 kb/s meanwhile airtel gives me 100kb/s in the daytime. yet i i still went on to do the glo stuff and i was managing, so just chill and try to manage it and you can try tweeting at airtel too and see if they will respond. If that were to happen then i think that is why the first hokage was resurrected. The first hokage, minato and naruto will combine to seal away the ten tails beacause of their knowledge of the uzumaki clan jutsus whom i believe are the only ones with the jutsu knowledge to seal away the ten tails

That Airtel is slow in Yola doesn't mean they suck everywhere else. Before using GLO, I was using Airtel and quite impressed with their services (I virtually live online). Now the GLO bb stuff is blocked and I subscribed back on airtel and have already downloaded over 5.67Gb from last night till now. Airtel is faster than MTN here and smoother to use more than glo over here but you don't see me bashing those networks. I hope the GLO thing works again or maybe something better comes up. No way he shouldn't bring back anybody,the village of konoha already escaped from the damge that pain inflicted without any casualties, this a s war the loss will help put things in perspective and leave lessons for the future of konoha to take over. but yeah naruto might probably become the host for the nine tails though i think he would refuse at first and some other villages will oppose it but the majority will be in favour of it and will try to convince him since there might be no way to seal the ten tails again or break it down into it's constituent tailed beasts and i'd like to see naruto kick sasuke's butt with his new powers a bit but lets not get ahead of ourselves
