PoliticsRe: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by Wadeoye(m): 8:58pm On Apr 10, 2011
Let them do whatever they like, next week Nigerians will chose who they have as their president - that is our focus. Of course we supporters of CPC would have loved for CPC to clear all the seats in the two houses but are all those contesting for the various legislative seats as popular in their constituencies? The answer is no.

In Lagos here for example, we don't even know the guys contesting under CPC - definitely a new party will face this problem but not at the presidency because while other local contestants my not be known by people, Buhari is know across the country.

Basseti, yes oooo. If the process is free and fair, there is no issue afterall it is democracy.

With above results declared so far imply that more than 50% of the result is still being awaited. What's happening to the remaining?
PoliticsRe: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by Wadeoye(m): 6:54pm On Apr 10, 2011
Sambo failed in his constituency, polling boots in ASO Villa were won by CPC - it sends a signal to you that GEJ/Sambo ticket is not popular. Next week, it is a different game, different factors and different character at play.

If you think those guys up north who voted for PDP/ANPP candidates (whom they see as performers and one of their own) will use their tumb to vote for GEJ, then you will be confirming what I think of you - a Dombo.

Like many people in SW - people know what they are doing. Even my old man in the village knows who to vote for each election -

Lets exchange notes this time next week - sure it will be interesting.
PoliticsRe: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by Wadeoye(m): 6:26pm On Apr 10, 2011
Of course, Buhari will win next week election - a newly formed party chasing the ruling PDP out in FCT, Kaduna, Katsina, Nasarawa, etc. Note that majority of us are not driven by the local contestants - senate, rep, etc. We are supporting and will vote for CPC only because of Buhari - for me, I don't care who wins the national assembly election. The good thing is, there wont be any clear majority by any party in the coming house. This is good if Buhari wins.

@scholes0, everybody in the SE wants to create an empire for himself. The reason I doubt if SE will ever be relevant in political equation in Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by Wadeoye(m): 10:40am On Apr 10, 2011
Leave those guys alone - they are myopic. They say CPC in few states in the north even when CPC is defeating PDP in FCT, Niger, Nasarawa, etc not to even talk of the core north.
PoliticsRe: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by Wadeoye(m): 10:08am On Apr 10, 2011
@muami, have you seen the results of Kaduna south? You are only dubiously trying to justify unjustifiable.

What about Nasarawa, FCT, Niger? Were all these not given to PDP?
PoliticsRe: National Assembly Elections, Saturday 9th April, 2011 by Wadeoye(m): 9:43am On Apr 10, 2011
The same shameless Thisday Poll gave Kaduna to PDP, Nasarawa to PDP, FCT to PDP, etc. That guy should be arrested immediately for blatant demonstration of lack of patroitism.

Voting next week will be different from yesterday. Ribadu will not get 10% of total votes cast. Forget about Ribadu for run-off.

Leave this OJUYOBO4LIFE alone - there is no gaing saying Lagos is ACN stronghold just like CPC is strong in its base as well.

Anyway, lets wait till tomorrow.

@TINUBU4LIFE, have you also seen the performance of ACN in the all north - 3 regions. Very woeful,  You keep talking about CPC performance in Lagos as if Lagos is Nigeria. To shock you, CPC won some pulling units in Lagos despite the fact that the contestants under CPC are largely unknown.

Next week is going to be different across the country - PDP wills struggle to get 15% of all the votes in th north if the results that we have seen are anything to go by. Lagos will have a clear choice between darkness and light - PDP and CPC. Of course we all know Ribadu is not on ground anywhere - I don't see him as a contestant in the next saturday election.

PoliticsRe: Nass Election Prediction: Acn Controlled Nass by Wadeoye(m): 10:06pm On Apr 09, 2011
How will ACN control NASS? Have you seen the result in NW, NE and NC?

Winning all seats in SW and one or two more states does't translate into ACN controlling the NASS. As we speak, CPC is sweeping the NW, NE and defeating PDP in NC - even in Kogi.

Lets wait and see - definitely the new NASS will be very vibrant.

@efisher, if GEJ is leading this poll, will you post the same response as the one above? Truth the say is bitter - anyway, the day is drawing closer as every. second passes.
