@Recoome, who has that time? Is Buhari my father? And what will they lose personally if Buhari loses?

Beside, BB will not rig election. Hence, they can't engage in multiple IDs to give an impression that Buhari is leading. It is only the PDP that trive in deceipt and falsehood. So, if anybody is using multiple ID's here, I can assure you, they are GEJ supports because that is the way of life of PDP.

My uncle who has been an ardent supporter of ACN joined BB ticket today. Being a very senior person at his place of work, he opened discussion which led to the conversion of more people.

He called me this evening and said, "Waheed, there is no alternative to BB. They are the guys we need to move this country forward. I am on your side now and I have converted close to 100 people here. Buhari will win this election".

I will belief the online poll more than the "mago mago" poll by ipso. At least, we are all here watching as people vote and if you talk about multiple IDs, you can't pin this down on the supporters of a particular candidate - any dubious person could have done that.

The Ipso poll can't be trusted - who knew when the poll was conducted? The areas/states covered. If they chose to interview PDP members, what will the outcome be?

The NL poll on the other hand is open to everybody and most importantly the people voting here are not the traditional policians and they are not party members. These are professionals that will come out to vote on April 16.

Lagosians know the kind of leader they want.

Why is anybody supporting GEJ on this? Even aisha2 is joining them as if she has not seen the posts by GEJ supporters against the person of Buhari. This is election time, we should use anything at our disposal to swing votes. This one will work well in the north - so, lets see if we can remind our brothers in the north - katsina, Kano, kaduna, etc about this.

@thirty, if there is any tribe in Nigeria that should clamour for change of leadership/party, it should be Igbos. Everyday, every year, they ply that terrible Benin/Ore road with their people dying from accidents, armed robbery, etc as a direct result of deplorable condition of the road. Still we have some Igbos who will come and say PDP must continue to rule us - shame!!!

Is anybody surprised. What you have seen is a child play compared to the money they are spending to bribe Emirs in the north, Obas in the SW, AD in SW, etc.

I am still wondering who and who Thisday/Ipsos interviewed in their demented Poll - that thisday man will kill his own business with greed.

You don't know what you are saying.

Our goal in life as youth should not be to be president of our country or a politician - this should be a secondary consideration and after real life management experience has been gathered over years.

Our goal should be how we can contribute in our own way to the growth of our country through our various professions. What we youths should demand from however is our leader is the environment and whatever we need to grow our potential in life. Why should we be concerned about the age of the leader as long as the person has the quality required to move the country forward?

Also, they say experience is the best teacher, I am not a supporter of young graduates going into politics as we have today because experience is not there. And the higher the position, the more experience we should demand for political office holders.

We can all see from the various debate that Ribadu is inexperience and the like of him can't make a good president.

What's GEJ doing about this?

Unfortunately I am arriving Lagos Wednesday evening,  Anyway, I will enjoin Lagosians to go en-mass for this breakfast meeting. Is this place large enough? It should be free food for everybody that makes it to the venue.

Then tell me what he should I have said? Also tell me your understanding of the question.

- You are asking Buhari why he wanted to be president? Can't he aspire to be president? Or what is wrong or unconstituttional about him aspiring to be president? He response was to tell the journalist that the question doesn't make sense. Anybody can aspire to be president as long as you are constitutionally qualified, period - this is democracy. It is up to people to check the track record and decide to either vote for him or not.

- Simple intelligent question should have been for example, if you are voted in as president, what will you do to address our infrastructural challenges? How will you address corruption that have become a way of life in government? or how will you grow our economy?

When journalists come with not-well-thought-through question or question in bad faith, you don't expect answer that you think you will get.

So, you want us to investigate spending since 1976? Why not since independence? Dumbo.

I am based in Lagos - Ipaja area and I will be voting for BB come April 16.

If you are not from Lagos please don't vote as this will not in any way help your candidate in the election. The poll may give us an indication of how people will vote and can help the weak candidates to review their strategy before the D-day.

@Edicolove, read the 2 treads again and you will see that most of those that contributed in favor of Jonathan have only one reason - "bigotry", religion or ethnicity. Like Buhari is an extremist; he hates the igbos; he is a johadist, But when you look at those against Jonathan, you see critical thinking in action - not based on ethnicity or religion.

Also, in the Buhari tread, you will see a single person contributing 10 to 20 times in a bid to drive home his senseless contribution. Check Jonathan's tread, you don't see a person saying the same thing again and again.

Most importantly, more people have said they will not vote for Jonathan. Check the treads again.

Already we know Jonathan - there is nothing new about him as he has been in government for years now without any impact.

So, how will I vote for somebody that has got no track record of achievement?

Even if we don't know him, an adage says "show me your friends, ". How will I use my tumb to vote for a man that is surrounded by known enimies of the systems? Dining and wining with known looters of our national treasury.

How will I vote for a man that can't keep promise?

How will I vote for an opportunist as my president? Can Jonathan even dream of contesting for Nigeria presidency if he didn't get to where he is today by accident? To me, it means is not qualify to be our president.

When you see people putting "Sai PDP" as their signature despite the failure of the party in all aspects of our life including education where over 80% of candidates now fail SSCE, then you know there is something wrong somewhere - it is either critical thinking is lacking or those guys are afraid of a system where 419 is impossible; where drug trafficking will be delt a crushing blow; where official stealing will be impossible; etc.

If we profile the pro-GEJ on NL, they are mostly our brothers from SE. Even people from SS are not as pro-GEJ as our dear Igbo brothers. At least we have seen MEND release of Saturday where they announced the stoppage of bombing threats and also declared that GEJ is a failure but that they hope the new government that will be sworn in on May 29 will hopefully address Niger Deltan problems.

While I don't like to go tribalistic or religious in my arguments, I still keep shuttling between my laboratory and library to figure out the genetic makeup of our brothers from SE. Because, I don't and I wont understand why people will be so premodial as to be unable to differentiate between good and bad.

Whoever is voting for PDP/GEJ for any reason is either insane, ignorant or hopelessly corrupt - you can't hide under religion or tribe to entrench corruption in our country.

This is not unexpected. OR is anybody surprised that PDP will lose this election?

Nigeria’s ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was losing the parliamentary election in an embarrassing fashion in places where yesterday’s National Assembly elections took place, according to preliminary election numbers obtained by SaharaReporters from Kaduna, Benue, Gombe, Katsina, Nassarawa and Lagos.

From Gombe State, SaharaReporters obtained the following vote tally from Kofar Ajiya: PDP 10, ANPP 19 and CPC 121; Kofar Shetima: PDP 5 votes, ANNP 10 and CPCP 117; Kofar Sadauki: PDP 12 votes, CPC 132; and at Kofar Sarkin Dabe: PDP 1 vote and CPC with 48 votes.

Of equal interest, in Kaduna State, in Vice-President Sambo's own neighborhood of 500 voters, the PDP received only 100, and in Suba LGA, Kaduna out of 10,000 votes PDP only managed to get 500.
