Igbo hoping to be president of Nigeria? Never Never Never...

You guys should forget this stupid Igbo Igbo presidency dream. It will not happen - period.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Exports Religion, India Exports Cars by Wadeoye(m): 9:06pm On Oct 24, 2012
Nigerians are lazy people... hiding behind religion to cheat and make a living instead of doing the hardwork that can make us control the world economy.

Andre Uweh: It's high time you guys quit creating useless threads that brings bigotry to this site. Must one start a thread if you are not intelligent enough to start a responsible thread.
Nonsensical.
Igbos, they can't defend their lies and the are now looking for a way out.

What do they have? Those dirty shops where they cheat innocent hardworking people?
PoliticsRe: Why Do People Hate Bola Tinubu? by Wadeoye(m): 2:59pm On Oct 21, 2012
GNBohr: I have been reading with interest the various pro and anti – Tinubu sentiments displayed particularly on Nairaland and I have come to realise that more than 75% of the people contributing either ways knows next to nothing about the man.

In order to fully analyse the person of Tinubu, there is need to be both objective and subjective and not speak from emotions or from the

Tinubu has been called a bastard, a thief, a godfather and a tout. These are the main labels used in incriminating him. Tinubu has also been called a patriot, a leader, a businessman, a politician, a professional and an administrator. These labels have also been used to attack him. So in effect, Tinubu is not a good person. Then who is a good person?

The story of his birth is well known and I believe if true according to Pastor Bakare, the real losers are his parents who people like Pastor Bakare claimed abandoned him. I ask, since when does being abandoned children become being bastards. Where in our constitution does a citizen becomes qualified as a bastard. If we follow the thinking of some people, then both Jesus and Mohammed were bastards. Are you even sure you are the child of those you know and called your parents, including Pastor Bakare himself. Have you done a DNA test to confirm?

So Tinubu is a thief, then I asks who is not a thief. Jesus asked the same question. If Tinubu is a thief, I think he is a good thief. How many rich Nigerians can come clean with their wealth? The politicians, the corporate organisations’ executives, the religious clerics, the businessmen and women, the administrators, the traders, the transporters, the militants, the social crusaders/activists, the entertainers, name them. We have all used our position one way or the other to exploit the other person. We are all products of our environment. We have all seen what previous bank executives did with depositors’ fund. We have seen what pastors did with tithe.

So Tinubu is a godfather. Tell me which politician is not a godfather? Even in religious setting there is godfatherism, not to talk of business, international affairs, and family. We all know where we all play our godfatherism.

So Tinubu is a tout. So who is not a tout and when does being a tout become illegal in the general sense. Touts are businessmen and we all engage in touting one way and another to move our businesses forward.

Tinubu is simply playing the politics of our day, the same way the Sardauna, Awolowo, Azikwe and co played the politics of their days. If Tinubu is a present day politician and is not ready to be all those names you call him, I wonder where he would be today.

Yoruba people use to say, to catch a monkey, you have to be like a monkey. It is a truism that has well been adopted in fighting crimes, bringing down enemies, subterfuging nations, sabotaging corporations. You can not successfully fight your enemy without behaving like your enemy to fully understand your enemy.

Do you think you can compete in Nigerian politics without being involved in all those things that you people accuse Tinubu of doing? Gani Fawehinmi did it he failed Falana did it in Ekiti, he also failed, though he is lawyer to most of these politicians. Ask yourself why they failed. We, the people don’t want their type in politics.

How do you think he fought as an opposition, do you expect him to be a saint. Who is your alternative to Tinubu? Tinubu is an intelligent guy, a good rogue who employed smart thinking to raise fund for his party without outrightly stealing from the treasury because you and me will never contribute to the funding of political parties.

Tinubu understand his people, he knows what they want and he is providing them the platform required. All other talk is immaterial. His so called stealing is benefiting his Yoruba people. His people want a regional party because of the failure of the party at the centre and he is doing that to the amazement and chagrin of those who are not in his camp.

He has been accused of stealing Lagos State money to create an empire (political and economic) Yes, he is so successful at doing that unlike others who stole and ran away, creating no empire or legacy. Some ran into prison and many others ran into oblivion. He stole, stayed back, invested his theft, created jobs, install governments, encouraged development, attracted foreign construction giants, even if he end up owning part of them.

@ Billyonaire:
Who Owns Hitech ? Tinubu
Who Owns AlphaBeta ? Tinubu
Who Owns Oriental Hotel ? Tinubu
Who owns LCC ? Tinubu
Who owns Nations News Paper ? Tinubu
Who owns Nations Airline ? Tinubu
Who controls all LGAs in Lagos ? Tinubu
Who controls Lagos state House of Assembly ? Tinubu
Who is Fashola's Godfather ? Tinubu
Who 'owns' ACN ? Tinubu

It is even good that he used his ill begotten wealth, (according to you) for all the above. Tell me what other politicians who stole like him did with theirs. Let others do like Tinubu and see if Nigeria will not be a better place. The stealing Tinubu did in Lagos, is fast changing the face of Lagos and improving its economy.

So condemn or praise him as much as you want, it changes nothing. Those who lost to him, will cry and spread hateful thread about him and those who need him knows how to reach out to him. This is Nigeria, there are no saints here. Even you are no saints.

Before you condemn Tinubu, what has been your contribution, your achievement, your legacy and your principle?

TINUBU IS A NIGERIAN POLITICIAN PLAYING NIGERIAN PLOITICAL GAME AND HE IS MOVING MOUNTAINS. REMEMBER ALL POLITICIANS ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND OR INTERESTED IN YOUR INTEREST. THEY DO WHAT INTEREST THEM AND WHAT FURTHERS THEIR OWN INTEREST. IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT DIVIDE YOU BELONG.

I DON’T LIKE TINUBU AND I DON’T HATE HIM BUT HE IS OF GREAT INTEREST TO ME. HE IS A SUCCESSFUL NIGERIAN POLITICIAN TO BOOT.
You have only created more problems for Tinubu with this your post. A thief is a thief whether he gives people from the loot or not. You don't steal money to better the lot of your people -this is not done. Stealing comes from personal greed and quest for worldly things. Good leaders are not known to be greedy or chase worldly things. They are not loved because of their money but rather their leadership qualities and selflessness. How many companies does Mandela have? How many did Gandi have?
PoliticsRe: £93m Pastor Oyedepo Accused Of Exploiting British Worshippers by Wadeoye(m): 1:48pm On Oct 21, 2012
eGuerrilla: If as you suggest, @Wadeoye, Papa Bishop (gOM) is indeed smarter than his followers, who include members of esteemed professions (banking, medicine, engineering and so on); what kind of signals are we sending out to the rest of the world?
Interesting question... Of course the signal is obvious and it is up you and I (the so called professionals) to begin to use our heads. When professionals in other countries are putting their time on research, creating and developing initiatives and coming up with all sort of things that help their countries control the world economy one way or the other, we are here spending 60-70 percent of our time following pastors and imams. Today in Nigeria, more and more professionals are considering going into pastoring because of the easy profit they will get.
PoliticsRe: Pastor Bakare A False Prophet by Wadeoye(m): 1:17pm On Oct 21, 2012
Ungodly people (Nigerians), they know who is a false prophet, they know the true prophets. God seems to be talking to Nigerians in their dreams - they know everything including how to cheat, steal, kill, lie and backstab. Interesting people...

cjrane: Is this news?
President Jonathan had already said Boko haram was in government. You guys must think a whole President will make statements just to be funny?
We Know those who have used Boko Haram to make Nigeria ungovernable because Buhari lost. Those people are the financiers and undertakers of the Boko haram and GEJ knows who they are.
Because Buhari lost? So, Buhari is now a member of PDP... Do you think at all or you do it with your anus?

At least he is smarter than the people following him... He needs to begin to prevent those who are not known to be paying their tith regularly from entering the church. And also, there is should be minimum amount every member including students can drop every Sunday - I suggest 5k. Pastor needs to buy more jets and more powerful ones - Jesus will like it. Don't you think so?

onatisi: thanks for stating ur points in a nice manner ,to some extent i think u are correct .although i am yet to see a better alternative to pdp.
No alternative to a party managed by the likes of Anenih, OBJ, IBB, Atiku, GEJ, and other organizers and financiers of Boko haram? Then you are doomed.
@Gbawe, you are preaching to the choir regarding the incompetence of GEJ's administration. I do however, caution people like you and Wadeoye, who are very passionate about our country and her well being, to continue to do so without throwing common sense, the rule of law, and due process, out of the window.

The Senator in question has not yet been charged for a single crime. This fact is undisputed.
Hear yourself. We should not talk because he has not been arrested - and if the government decides not arrest him because they are in bed together, it means he has not committed any crime and we should keep quiet while you continue to blame innocent people for crime committed by those in government.
PoliticsRe: £93m Pastor Oyedepo Accused Of Exploiting British Worshippers by Wadeoye(m): 12:01pm On Oct 21, 2012
He is acquiring wealth and buying the crafts for Jesus - nothing wrong. He is simply a smart guy.
PoliticsRe: The Senator Hiding The Wanted Boko Haram Commander. (Premium Times Report) by Wadeoye(m): 11:47am On Oct 21, 2012
Many of you NLers will be rotting in prison, if you are convicted solely because your niece, nephew, or other close relative is convicted of a major crime. Lets stop being hypocritical.

The suspected BH member has not yet been charged of any crime, but you fools have already charged, tried, and convicted both him and his Uncle. If the authorities know that the man is a BH member, one would have thought that they are in possession of intelligence lining the man to BH and more importantly, linking the senator to BH.

I find the fact that they have not arrested the Senator quite telling. You people should use your brains for once.
I find your post interesting. So, because the culprit is a member of PDP we can say he has not been tried and found guilty ? I see the way you think - pathetic. What would you have said if a bk leader is found in a CPC chieftain's house? You will open your stinging mouth to ask for the arrest and prosecution of Buhari - I pity you, laughing animal from cursed tribe.
PoliticsRe: The Senator Hiding The Wanted Boko Haram Commander. (Premium Times Report) by Wadeoye(m): 10:59am On Oct 21, 2012
onatisi: now that u want pdp out ,the question i am asking u is that which other party do u want to take their place ?
Use your head - any party can come in. This is what makes democracy work, not this one party ruling you forever. When you lock yourself in, you will never know the truth and the evil the people in government commit. I tell you, even a military system will be better than one political party ruling the country forever. When we are educated and civilized enough to change people and party at the center, politicians will sit up and begin to see governance from the perspective of service to the people - not a money or merry making venture.

rafhell: One very clear fact is that every northern muslim is a potential terrorist.
You are an slowpoke if you don't know that politicians (pdp precisely of which the president is a xtian) are behind this. Jonathan has a lot of questions to answer with all these PDP guys being linked to BK. how many of the bk boys and the sponsors arrested have been prosecuted by this government? ndume, Kabiru Sokoto, etc. Key Boko guys are always arrested in either a PDP governor's or senator's house. Who is terrorizing who in Nigeria? This is not a religious way - it is a political war aimed at keeping this country in the hand of PDP. Use your head beforeitnis too late.
PoliticsRe: The Senator Hiding The Wanted Boko Haram Commander. (Premium Times Report) by Wadeoye(m): 10:33am On Oct 21, 2012
Tell me PDP leadership is not the mastermind of Boko Haram, killing and maiming people... Two senators of the same hopeless party have been linked to BK and yet nothing has been done to unmask the sponsors or deal with those linked with BK.

Some stupid Nigerians who think with their anus (If they think at all) will open their mouth and say Buhari should talk to Boko Haram.

When you vote for PDP, whether you do this for religious or ethnic reason, you vote for the destruction of your country and dont complain when the same party turns around to start bombing you. For sanity to come and for us to see the rot in the system, power should change hand - pdp should be shown the way out.
PoliticsRe: CPC Statement On Buhari's 2015 Candidacy by Wadeoye(m): 10:05pm On Oct 19, 2012
GenBuhari: what are u on about?

I am from the East and I am very proud of it.

I do not blame those who have given up on "One Nigeria" , because it is natural to try and blame something for the hardship that Nigerians I finding themselves in.
There are also people in the North that also want to break away.
If you are Igbo then you have a lot of work to do. Nobody seems to be interested in addressing the warped orientation and bigotry revaging the east. Nigeria got his independence in 1960, Igbos started shouting maginalization and maltreatment in 1966... and since then they have been calling for their own state. Are they the only one in Nigeria? Do you know the number of tribes in this country? Why will a tribe think the rest of the country must listen to them by force? You need to educate your people - it is not breakup that will give them good governance but rather good leadership regardless of where the person comes from. If we lay emphasis on having the right person in power, then definitely it means anybody anytribe can emerge the president of Nigeria. Nobody should be in a hurry to lead please

Generally, our brothers from the east are not interested in the progress of Nigeria. All they want is Biafra - the reason they stick to their bigotry and refuse to spare even a little time to think about what is good for Nigeria. From the comments you know them.

The earlier we begin to push/depot these people back to their bushy villages the better for us.

Dahbutter: Inasmuch as Ibo's are perhaps the most crafty and dishonest people in Naija, I have to admit that they are also the most industrious and hardworking people I know, with a heart to succeed in the midst of all odds wherever they are found. Worse crimes have been committed by Yorubas in many cases but what really baffles me is the extent an ibo man can go due to envy of his own rich brother from the same village/compound all in the name of being accorded more respect as a result of acquired wealth.

Its so sad to hear of someone travel all d way to murder his own kin
Man, stop that trash... Igbos the most industrious? Committing crimes and cheating other people in business is tantamount to being industrious? Stop deceiving yourself, Igbos are devil incarnates.
