cao:That's exactly what I did, you nitwit. |
This man is a certified nuisance. I don't quite get what's up with black athletes over wealth. They earn it, flaunt it, spend it... ...and lose it all. Then the regrets begin. But the next lucky arsehole never learns. Cc: Davido, Wizkid, all other naija "celebs" |
MelancholicGuy:Please.. Call them "muds" Because true "mods" have a sense of purpose. The charlatans on nairaland are clueless. |
Of all games to lose your job on, it had to be Fallout? If it was GTA V I'd understand, I too almost lost my job for that (heists! Oh god!). Unless of course it's all a publicity stunt by Bethesda to promote that long-winding, slow-burning rubbish of a wasteland trawling game. |
I don't know why our newspapers are always full of errors, like they can't afford proofreaders. It's "taxiing" when a plane is pulling out, not "taxing", which is the collecting of tax. |
Airforce1:You, for instance. |
OnankpaBa:I see. Ofada rice even tastes better than jolof sef. |
10 for making dokpesi spend a night in kuje prison 10 for ignoring fayose and ffk 10 for making diezani fake cancer, namadi fake knee surgery, and Alams faking death 0 for not saying a word on fuel scarcity 5 for boko haram 0 for the shiite issue |
OnankpaBa:I just wanna know the story behind your signature. |
PRYCE:Calm down. Is it only your pops that buys you stuff? They've got rich friends, family members, and colleagues. Her dad gets paid, her mum owns businesses. Besides, what's a 192k shoe when some of us here have phones worth more than that? |
modath:Sigh Was a joke.... |
modath:Fraternizing then. |
sauceny:He was reducing unemployment. |
sukkot:Why did you leave out fulani? Are you marginalizing us? |
modath:Why are you flirting with the enemy? ![]() |
Brooklynsouth:I'm sorry....? |
Sweetguy25:hmmm.... let's see.... 1. Lecturer at ABU 2. Staff MGT Bank of New York 3. Staff Baring Bank of London 4. GM at UBA 5. ED, then GMD at First Bank 6. CBN Governor with international awards and recognition 7. Emir of Kano ...i guess nothing extraordinary about his career. |
mizle:Of course they're foolish. But surely no one is this foolish to willingly rope himself into a scandal. And as for cooling down, there has to be some point where the list of Dasuki's beneficiaries would be exhausted. At least we're at the eve of the trial where the real bread and butter confessions would be exposed. |
It's not just the issue of the shiites, on so many levels buhari's silence is portraying him as a failing leader. Here are some: 1. The 6 months it took to form a cabinet: No one has yet explained to us why it took so long. 2. The Chibok girls issue is no longer given even lip service. 3. The present crushing fuel scarcity does not even seem to be a matter of concern to Aso Rock. I believe Nigerians deserve some explanations, heck even excuses would suffice. 4. The free falling naira against the dollar, and the free wheeling economy warrant some sort of assurances from government. So far not a word. 5. The shiite massacre and the whereabouts of El Zakzaky. PMB needs to make a nationwide statement to calm nerves. Information and assurances are the very least we expect of a leader, but sadly PMB is giving endless weapons to his detractors to reinforce their dissent. Someone needs to wake this man up to his responsibilities. |
mizle:And you think PMB is foolish enough to arrest Dasuki and make his confessions public when PMB himself is a supposed beneficiary of Dasuki's largesse? Why would he knowingly incriminate himself? The 2 armored SUVs PMB received from the NSA are his constitutional endowments as a former HOS. The ONSA is the only agency that licenses tbe usage of armored vehicles in Nigeria. And the issue of bail is the right of every suspect. It doesn't mean the case is over, it just means it's about to begin. |
PassingShot:They've added EKPA to their abobaku title. |
kingofdemons:Small pikin. |
kingofdemons:Actually... ....You're the one who sounds like you're sipping burukutu, if your disjointed rants are anything to go by. You're either half drunk, or you're an excitable little boy who just found one of his daddy's internets and doesn't know how to use it. |
90 percent of nairaland's members are idiots and IPOBS. In case you don't know, money is finite. How do you expect government to fund other key sectors if it doesn't pull scarce resources from wasteful programs and reapply same to things more relevant and impactful? Or you want the FG to do a Zimbabwe and just print endless wads of unbacked cash? Additionally, it's not every single memo or circular emanating from MDAs that must micro-managerially cross the president's desk. In Nigeria we assume the head of state completely runs the country alone, mans every agency, does the accounts, makes all arrests, prosecutes all suspects, makes every single decision, signs every check, pays every worker, flies every plane, runs NEPA, manages all gas stations, flips every burger, and changes the bulb on each gaddam streetlight. This idiocy accounts for precisely the reason 2000 teachers are getting sacked: they failed at teaching, rasing a generation of blockheads, a greater portion of whom unfortunately crawl all over nairaland. Seun needs an idiot captcha to filter out the nitwits at the point of registration. |
Everybody is saying "save" "save". The question is, how do you cope when sacked? You cant save after losing the job. im guessing the OP wants to know how to survive the turbulent period of unemployment. There's no magic formula. Just pray something better comes along and that friends and family are kind enough to help you out. |
How does the court expect a civil servant to own property worth 250m naira, except if corruption has become the norm? |
northvietnam:I pray for you to be bigger than an oil minister, so that you can have all your heart's desires and help others as well. Peace. |
northvietnam:you made it seem like 72 inch plasma was the deal. northvietnam:YOU cant buy, you mean. You've no idea of my income. northvietnam:Wake up! |
yayankainuwa:And i insist all the ingredients for escalation were there. 1. The COAS is a HVT for any miscreants, especially Boko Haram. His protection is paramount. 2. The convoy of the COAS is state machinery out for state function. No hoodlums have the right to deny a state convoy right of way. The sirens are there for a reason. 3. The COAS and his entourage begged the shiites to grant the COAS what is essentially his right. At that point he resorted to diplomacy rather than force. 4. The shiites brandished dangerous weapons extremely close to the COAS and his team, vowing death rather than granting right of way. In this era of terrorism.Their posture and disposition was aggressive. There was no reason for the COAS to back down and and let the hoodlums reinforce their thuggery. In the US people have been shot for carrying weapons or threatening police. I dont know where you got the idea that it's sane and legal to block the road from a state convoy and threaten the chief of the army himself. And if diplomacy wouldnt work, only serving to embolden the shiite thugs, i wonder whether you think it appropriate for the entire nigerian army to yield to such thugs. IF the army and its chief couldnt disperse the crowd, i wonder how the police could go about it, being less disciplined than the army. it's time people start respecting constituted authority in nigeria. |
Bastardization of the naira. Why not say you're doling out 100,000 naira to whoever is the most creative in sucking your wrinkled online balls? |
northvietnam:You're behind. Plasma is an old technology. No one makes plasma tvs anymore. If you wanted to sound fancy, then claim 80 inch curved OLED UHD. Or even better, up your tech ante by watching in VR on the Oculus headset. |
LegatusGlaber:I swear to god you're the best person on the internet today. |
