personally i'll say you upgrade and loose the jail break. iOS6 will eventually be jail broken after sometime so you can run off out of the garden again |
jedisco: You were not referring to units sold (cos in that case iPhone would be the winner). You were clearly said 'design-wise'.you should try your hands at reading and understanding.... |
samir101ng: WRONG !!!in case some could not find it themselves from the link above, see the screen capture
|
jedisco: Like you said, its your choice. A very very rare one I must say.RARE?! ![]() you need to get a dictionary and check the definition of rare. 20 million still counting doesn't sound rare to me |
texazzpete: Come off it, everyone knows the initial reaction to the Galaxy S III's design was rather unimpressive.i don't disagree with you on the beauty of the HTC 1X and i am surprised it is not even being talked about in the iPhone 5 drama going on. all focus seems to be on the GSIII |
jedisco: Just to chip in, the best way to gauge the beauty of a phone is by actually seeing it or asking those who have used it.i dont know where you read or watched your review. the complaint about the GSIII i have heard talked about in review has to do wit the fact that the body is made of glossy, plastic material. not a single one about it not feeling comfortable and natural when you hold it i have seen lots of iPhone4S. Iphone5 is only just taller, thinner without a corresponding upscale in width the Nokia Lumia 920 design is the same as the Lumia 800 with difference only in dimensions. it even has a glossier finish than the GSIII and its all angular. those sharp edges will chip off with use the Motorola is just plain ugly because it has nothing catchy about its design i'll take the GSIII over them design-wise any day. your choice is your own |
Mayorwer: pls help me o.iam using samsung gallaxy y duos.my phone says message memory full.i cant receive message.pls what will i do.which message memory is full?...the sim or phone? if its the sim, just move the text messages on the sim to the phone and that should sort you out |
Princejaponais: By unlimited i mean you can download any amount of data and the sub will still be on.the only network that gives unlimited data on one of its plans is ETISALAT and that only applies to BIS subscription. all other data plans and all other networks have a DATA CAP on all their data plans, so you can not download non-stop. you can download until you use up your data and then renew your subscription |
Princejaponais: @Walcom: thanks for your input. The problem as I was told was that my Internet settings in the phone were wiped out. So i really needed to do get there is I do not know how to input those.what i have been telling you is that with AIRTEL on android, no internet setting is required. you people need to stop visiting road side gsm engineers if your android is a new device, just pop in the sim and subscribe to BIS. PLUG AND PLAY |
Chitexs250: Hello guys am using an iPhone and I need urgent reply on which network to use for browsing and unlimited downloads cos I have lots of stuffs to download online. Urgent reply is neededno network stops you from downloading all you want. so long as you have data cap to accommodate the download |
Deblow: Same with me o. I bought my own SGSIII from someone who claims to be a direct agent but I did not have this idea of an already-made micro sim and d guy used something that looked like a stapler to cut one of my sims to size. Now, I need to change d sim but its so difficult to get d sim out of d slot. Please where do I get a ready-made micro sim bought?that something that looks like a stapler is a SIMCARD cutter and its the right way to convert a normal simcard to microsim without doing a sim swap there is nothing wrong with your simcard. |

Please where do I get a ready-made micro sim bought?for GSIII, the sim slot behaves like a microSD card slot. when you insert, you hear a clicking sound and when you want to remove it, you need to push it forward and it then springs backwards for you to pull it out easily i seriously hope you have not damaged your GSIII ![]() |
Jeffy1206: I swear airtel will rip u off der charges way tu high as a droid user i bet it will last a week. Am usin nokia with it onegig barely last 2wks, airtel jst not tryin is fuhady usin dere networkthey give u 1GB of data for between 1,200 and 1,400 depending on which complete plan you pick....how is that a rip off compared to what the other networks offer? ![]() |

rainmaker12: for mtnit doesnt work for MTN only airtel |
@Kazekage1, i dont get this type of elaborate response on my data. i subscribed to a new BIS data plan 5 days ago and i'm left with just over 700MB https://dl.dropbox.com/u/82109696/Pics/2012-09-17%2015.44.04.png how do u get your own 2GB? |
jereal: then that version is gonna cost a lot more than the amount you earlier stated, I guess...!the price is not significantly different but the version that uses SIM is currently only offered in Canada. the Wifi playbook that is available worldwide uses bridging if you have a BB BUT if you dont, it WILL use the data plan on any smartphone that is connected to it by bluetooth. and of course if you have free wifi, it will also use that. so unlike most other wifi only tablet, the playbook gives you more connection options |
KazeKage1: Those of you complaining about using BIS on android should just get zain BIS but make sure you have OS7.1 installed on your berry..it ships with 2GB worth of data but if you want it to last, minimize the amount of downloads you might make.when did airtel BIS become 2GB...thought it was 1GB? |
ayoflyn: will the normal sim work if they cut it to the nano sim size?yep... that's what the sim cutter is meant for. right now, you can cut your normal sim into microsim size and the same will be true for the nanosim |
4llerbuntu: dude, u want to use it on starcomms?the iPhone 4S was built as a world phone (can run on either CDMA or GSM networks) so the answer to your question is YES. |
timbros: Personally my E5 does everything a blackberry will do for any user, including pinging. Yes, pinging cuz i have my Whatsappyour E5 cannot do what a BB will do for someone who knows what a BB can do. |
stepo707: Nah i know an mtn chikcorrect guy.... ![]() |
rainmaker12: Gud guyz plz help me, is d bis 4 android still working? mine refused to work using set DNS...tankzwhich network? |
the.game:its only 1GB but still cheaper than any other offering in the market right now |
rainmaker12: Gud guyz plz help out wat r d procedures for dis unlimited browsing bis for Android? I'm tired of dashing mtn hard earn money....plzzza tiny little bit of search through the phone section would have provided you with the info you need. some of the Airtel BIS threads are still very active. |
it can be unlocked. |
rainmaker12: can u pls tell me d procedures 4 airtel?no procedure. put your airtel sim inside your android. subscribe to airtel BIS and you're good to go. no configuration necessary. just plug and play especially if your android is a new device Note: if you are one of those who have been tampering with the apn and internet connection settings on your phone in the past, a legacy tweak that you have forgotten about might affect you at first but a backup and quick reset of your device will erase all those crappy tweaks and restore your settings to default from factory and you are good to go |
cyclops4real: yes, but they will have to take permission and pay for it, its like a patent thing.take permission from who? the only device using nanosim in the world today is Apple iPhone5...with the way they have been suing all the other manufacturers, i'm sure nobody will implement their crappy nanosim technology unless it becomes an industry standard and once that happens, nobody has to pay to use it. i don't see all that process going through for another 3 years. for the unfortunate iPhone users who will want to buy the iPhone5, all you have to do is cut your current sim to the nano size if you live in a disorganized country like Nigeria and u dont need to pay anybody to do that. for those living in the western world where the iPhone is getting released first, it will come with a free nanosim that is used to replace your current sim and number when you upgrade to the iPhone5 |
oluface: Really?Really. try it and see ![]() |
texazzpete: At least unlike the Galaxy S III, nobody was calling the iPhone 5 ugly during its launch.i'm still trying to understand why you think the GSIII design is ugly....personally, i like the consistent curved lines of the GS3 better than the rigid looking motorola MAXX or Nokia 920 https://6.mshcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/iphone-comparisonc.jpg |
