you don't need any help from gurus. if you're dissatisfied with the functionality you're getting from BB, switch to another platform when you get there, you'll know the benefits |
Bold 9900 has been in use for close to a year and this is the first time i'm hearing something like this first question, are you subscribed to BIS? if you are subscribed to BIS and MTN is deducting your credit, it has nothing to do with the 9900 browser. |
temmy.m3:believe me there are no bugs on ICS. its your safer option....you actually stand a higher chance of bricking your droid going with the long thing 4ller has given you than you stand upgrading to ICS |
taxyflo: the mtn stuff is not working for me on galaxy s3 plz me out mtn is killing me oooswitch to airtel. no configuration or download required. just plug and play |
are those FB version usable by ur android OS? if you are using an older version of android, its possible your version cannot support these newer FB version and you should be using an older version what version of android OS are you using? |
source of story pls |
code9: Everyday i see people walking around with two or more mobile phones at a time. Why is it so? Is it that the Nigerian GSM industry is unstable or people just like to show off here in Nigeria or people see multiple phones as a status symbol. i don't just get it.i assume you're not a Nigerian and this is your first visit to Nigeria? |
Bawss1: I doubt that the nano sim will implemented in the iPhone 5. Apple recently just applied for standard to be adopted. . . but then again given Apple's ways, you never know.maybe they'll have microsim and nano sim variants to kick off the adoption of the nanosim |
mine is a Sony Ericsson P900 but the screen is cracked. |
Etisalat wasel is not a service in Nigeria, so there's probably nothing to get worked up about. with the link provided in your thermonuclear post, i trust you will get all the attention you desire ![]() |
Smuthx: you must have subscribed to a plan that makes them deduct suchyep, at OP, you are most likely on a plan that has daily access charge of N25 in exchange for free sms, lower call rate and probably free data. just call help desk and ask them to tell you what plan you're on and to explain the features of the plan |
Atheist:-D:it is true BUT the time it took you to create this thread is more than enough to Google it and get the answer yourself |
must you buy an app? just use the free ones ![]() |
just upgrade to ICS and you have a built in data monitor and you can even set a data cap and prevent programs from using data in the background |
jp philips: All sorts of phone such aspray tell us, why does MTN BIS have to work on Symbian, iPhone and androids? Ignorance is a state of being uninformed (lack of knowledge) you might want to take a little time out to google things or ask around before you come here and post crap |
Brisingr: for those using the airtel bis plan on android can u resubscribe if u have exhausted your data but still within the month intervalyes BUT you have to call helpdesk to manually terminate your current active plan. once they do that you get the text that your BIS has expired and you can just renew |
blackberry does not require antivirus |
donmatin: Is the airtel 1200 1gb still working for android phones?still works but seems slow the last few weeks does anybody know if the other networks are going the airtel way by freeing their BIS? |
Onosy: Please How can I uninstall/replace system Applications in my andriod phone....I have facebook version 1.3 as a system application I want to updrade but it doesn't update or replace the Facebook Apps 1.3 version...Any Idea pleasewhy dont you just get on Google play store to update to the newest version for your Android OS? |
if it was not designed to be used for making calls, you might need to root and install a custom ROM to get that feature in. |
osho3mtech: don't say wat u don't know..... Nd don't panic the mind of the newbie. In ICT world there is always a way out. Next time try to encourage nd gv hope instead of. Putting fear in dier mind. texazzpete: So...if Nokia could put in a powerful camera like that in that same shell and show it off in a production unit, what would stop them from putting it in the actual device?Nokia has already been caught cheating! if they could cheat with the video and stills they released originally as coming from the 920 camera, who says they could not rig a staged comparison especially since that session is a Nokia organized comparison session...so where's the conspiracy theory? ![]() texazzpete: Actually, in that article that isn't the faked one. The photo you're quoting is actually what your link says is the REAL photo from a Lumia 920.excerpt from the article i quoted is below: Nokia admitted that its Lumia 920 promotional ad contained video recorded by a DSLR and not its PureView camera as claimed in the video. According to a post by Youssef Sarhan, the Finnish company also faked some of the still photos in that video, too. Sarhan points to the still picture above that allegedly shows the optical image stabilization of the Lumia 920. He notes that the sparkles shown in the background street lights could not have been produced by the Lumia camera, which has a fixed aperture of f/2. This effect is only present in photos captured with camera that’s set to a higher aperture like f/22. It’s a common photography effect that occurs in night shots like the one above. the reference pointed out a picture at the top of the page and says the picture is the fake picture! if the picture is the one taken by the 920, will the article say its fake? i'm sure you're the one who needs the QUEEN PRIMER AND BRIGHTER GRAMMAR to aid your comprehension or better still help your reading skills first of all. if you don't read, its hard to comprehendbtw, throwing insults at will (especially when it is not merited) just because you're on a faceless forum is juvenile and doesn't show class #justsaying |
texazzpete: For anyone still doubting the camera performance...pulllleeeeeezzzzzz.....pure bullshit. the pureview camera is a great job but i dont believe this set up....when you buy the publicly available 920, we'll meet in the office and redo this test. for all you know, the Nokia handset in that clip is rigged with a camera that would not been in the retail unit mere mortals like you will eventually shell out money for. those other devices could have also been tampered with beforehand. unless you tell me you believe everything in Hollywood movies, disregard that clip |
jmaine: https://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/09/apollopureview-image2.jpgthat picture from the Nokia camera is a fraud and it has been exposed here....http://www.intomobile.com/2012/09/06/did-nokia-fake-its-still-lumia-920-images-too/ |
if you're running an OS older than BB07 and you have BB protect installed, sorry you can consider that BB gone |
that will be great news |
android devices use data if it is available and Airtel has now configured their network to allow you use data on a PLUG and PLAY basis with no manual configuration necessary if your device requests for data what that means is, once you have airtime on your sim and your phone demands data, you will be charged on a data PAYG rate and that is why your credit seems to be disappearing the PAYG rate is high so your best bet is to subscribe to data service to avoid the PAYG rate. |
geniusbami: I'm in the same dilema, I'm currently using Samsung Galaxy Young S6102, which is quite good with all my necessary applications, but it has the following grave limitations, which has necessitated the urgent need for another one to make up for the shortcomings:based on your requirements, get a BB but you wont get a BB that will do what you want at 40k |
