PhonesRe: Can Network Providers Track Stolen Blackberry? by walcolm(m): 11:32am On Nov 13, 2012
network providers can track any device that has their SIM in it but they wont since there are no consumer protection laws to compel them to do so.

they will send you on a rigmarole to the police and courts that makes the whole thing useless

With BB, it should even be easier but they wont do anything for you either. with your pin, you can find out if the person who stole or bought your stolen phone has an active BIS subscription but you can only resort to jungle justice to get your phone back

and by the way, BB Protect is only good for backing up your data and wiping your phone. once the person with your phone wipes it and throws away your sim, there's pretty much nothing else you can do on the BB protect side

its a fuck3d up world
PhonesRe: How Do I Make My Memory Card The Default Storage Location For My Apps by walcolm(m): 9:31am On Nov 13, 2012
Check the setting for each app that saves files to your internal memory

some apps wont allow you to change the default file save location but apps like camera, browser download, music should allow you to change the location to your SD CARD

PhonesRe: Help With Iphone by walcolm(m): 9:04am On Nov 13, 2012
there's no point having a smart phone if you're not willing to shell out money for data. get a data plan thats at least 1GB/month
PhonesRe: My Phone Was Stolen Yesterday, How Do I Get My Phone Back by walcolm(m): 8:34am On Nov 13, 2012
Lexusgs430: If it's a Blackberry device, the possibilities of getting it back is high, but if it's another brand, possibilities are slim to 0.
i disagree with you. there's a high demand for blackberries in Nigeria so the BB black market is a thriving community. chances are high your BB is already on its way to another side of naija where it will be sold off quickly

All u got to do is this. Set up utorrent on PC.. It is remote control. Personally, I set up utorrent on cafe to run in BOSS mode (invisible mode) and sit at home. I download lots of things on cafe whereas am at home doing the operation using this app "Utorrent remote"
lol..you wish, you need to be connected to the same wifi for it to work

Science/TechnologyRe: Felix Baumgartner Free-Falls From The Edge Of Space by walcolm(m): 7:30am On Oct 16, 2012
afam4eva: is there a chance that he could have died? People dey take risk sha. I never knew the distance from space was that short.
there are many ways he could have died...
if there was a malfunction in his suit, he would have died in 14 secs- his blood will vaporize....
in the fall, he could have gone into an out-of control spin that will destabilise him and probably make him faint
he could have fallen too fast resulting in the atmosphere burning him up completely before reaching the ground

PhonesRe: Amazing Things You Can Do With Samsung Phone Or iPhone by walcolm(m): 7:02am On Oct 09, 2012
Harbb: One feature that thrills me about my iPhone is how I can quickly scan my document anytime the need for that arises without having to look for a scanning machine. I then attach it to my mail and send it anywhere anytime. I don't know whether SG3 does that.
you must have just returned from the moon...every other OS apart from the iOS has had this feature for more than 5 years. even right now, i'm not sure you can even attach anything to an email from the iPhone directly
InvestmentRe: Need Your Advises On My GTB Shares. by walcolm(m): 8:39am On Oct 08, 2012
a few questions?

1. if you had cash in your pocket, would you invest in your cousin's business?
2. must you sell your GTB shares to invest in his business
3. must you sell those shares to his friend?

if you bought your GTB shares at 23 naira, you are currently running at a loss, why sell at a loss to invest in a business you don't have control over?

if you are sure your cousin's business is worth the risk, then feel free to do it

BusinessRe: The Best Places To Keep Money Apart From Banks? by walcolm(m): 8:49pm On Sep 30, 2012
other than saving your money or fixing it with banks, what you can do depends on how much capital you have

you probably dont have enough to invest in properties? if thats correct i will advise you buy gold but be aware its not a money doubling or short term investment
BusinessRe: Confused: Stockbroking Or Recharge Card Business? by walcolm(m): 8:47pm On Sep 30, 2012
how much time do you have to dedicate to the business?

if you have time on your hands, i'll advise you to do the recharge card business because you have control over what happens to your money

...in stock, you're at the mercy of unscrupulous brokers, jobbers, wasteful executives etc and those are the people who decide what happens to your investment, believe it or not. btw, SEC and NSE don't offer any meaningful protection to the average investor
BusinessRe: Investor Needed by walcolm(m): 8:42pm On Sep 30, 2012
you must have a business plan always.....businesses don't succeed by themselves...people have to have a clear road map to make them succeed... that's what business plans show

@OP,

there's nothing impossible. to do what you want to do will require you get a few devices and adapters.

i assume you live in nigeria? the stress of getting all the items you need to make this happen is going to be high cos you probably wont find those items to buy
