betafuture: I am very sorry, it seems like anytime I post on Nairaland is actually the time I have great challenges in my life, however, my posts also reflect the chronicle of my life. You may wish to check out my last posting about how I was sacked in the Bank with a debt that was guaranteed by a junior staff, whose job was threatened by the loan I obtained and she guaranteed for me. please find the link https://www.nairaland.com/2282140/loan-incured-before-termination-appointment Like I mentioned in that post, I got a job as with a Rep member and he appointed me as the Special assistant on a salary of 80k monthly and my boss paid my rent, of which I engage with my lender to take 50k with me monthly and right off the excess interest and stop disturbing the junior colleague, an arrangement they agreed to and everybody was fine, save that I had to struggle to cope with 30k monthly as a family man, working in Abuja. My wife never complained. I just gave her 25k from the salary, once received, to buy food for the family why I tried to manage with the remaining 5k. It was tough! Luckily, a junior lady cousin who works in a bank was posted to Abuja and we had to accommodate her. She was very kind and understood my plight. Sometimes, she drops up to 50k for my wife to augment the house expenses. She would tell me and sometimes, I would take additional 10k to ad to my pocket money.
The home was running, my son, my wife and my cousin, including myself were very happy. As a banker, I had learned the skill of marketing and networking and negotiation. In the course of my sojourn in the national assembly I met a head of a parastatal wjo needed me to do some strategic alliance between his organization and my boss. We later became great friends, and i realized I could access a scholarship to study in the UK through him. To cut the story short, I pursued this opportunity to the latter and I got a Federal government scholarship to pursue a Masters degree in the UK. I saw this as an opportunity to rewrite the story of my life. Two months in the UK, I began to look for means to bring my wife and son to join me in the UK. While I was in UK, I made it a point of duty to send 150k to my wife in Nigeria on monthly basis (Remember I was on scholarship) and I also do student work in the UK. Because we did not sell our car during the crisis, I also gave the custody of the car to her.
FIRST SUSPICION
When she was about coming to the UK with my 7 years old son, we decided to give out some of our home appliances and sell most of them including the car. Since I was not in Nigeria, she was to manage the transactions. Because I opened her e-mail address, i do see her mails, so i could see the alert on her GTB. The first thing that prompted me was that the amount she received for the sales of our car was 100k higher than what she declared to me. (The fund was meant to buy the flight tickets for her and my son). There were other expense transactions that were over declared, but the actual amount debited to her account were quite low. I did not confront her on these issues until she arrived UK with my son. When I did, I could see the way she manipulatively and professionally lied her way out of the whole issue. I did not pick an offense, hence i made her to understand that I was never convinced. Since then my instinct told me that if she could lie to me so much on finance, maybe there are other things going on in her life that I never known. However, I opened her Facebook account for her years ago in Nigeria, but I never bothered to check it. Out of curiosity, I tried login into her Facebook account and I discovered she has changed the password. My first reaction was to check it, but had I done that, she would have been conscious, then I used my skill as an trained IT security expert to crack her password and then access her Facebook. I ran through all her messenger message and everything was fine. Apart from a certain guy who always beg her for assistance and prayer, there was nothing really suspicious about her messanger and then, we continued with our normal life.
After a week in UK, she started to work as a carer (her visa permitted her to work fully), and she began to make money. I know how much enters her account and we decide how to spend. My son also start schooling and life began to have meaning again. I finished my masters with a distinction and the best graduating student in my department and my University offered me automatic admission for PhD, with part scholarship.l To remain, we needed to source funds to show evidence that my family can stay with me in the UK and show evidence of the balance of school fees. We sourced for money everywhere. She brought all she had and we had to borrow both from UK and Nigeria. My boss was very supportive and I commenced the PhD this September. As a family, we have a problem. My son is now 8 years and we have been trying to make another baby but it does not seem to be forthcoming. We have been to hospitals in the UK, we were both tested and once told my sperm motility was low, treated, but later we were considered both ok.
Since her arrival in the UK, I noticed that my wife suddenly repel sexxx. Sometimes, we had sexxxx just once in a month, she would find a way of brushing away by advances. At a level, i had to ask if there was any problem, but she said it was because of the new environment, her jobs and what have you. This further told me that all was not well in my marriage. She knows I love her and I would do anything for her. While we were yet trying to pay my tuition, her mum got a US visa and all the children were making contributions for her journey, I had to take from my school fees and send to Nigeria and manage my school to give us more time. I tried to ensure that we continually live like one happy family.
Do not let me sound like one perfect good guy. I had also lived a rough bad life in the past and she is aware. During my days in the bank, I had been sexually reckless and irresponsible. There was a time I left office to a gal house, fckked her and I never knew that the condom we used was stick to my shoe. I drove with it home, entered home very late at night, my wife was already angrily waiting for me in the house, only to see a used condom with sperm inside attached to the soul of my shoe. It was an issue that we had to battle with for weeks, even though I never confess it was from, I told a story that it must have got gummed to me at the mechanic village where I had gone to pick my car in the evening (She was aware that someone has accused my mechanic of having sexxx in his car, leaving condom at the back seat). after few weeks, we resolved the issue and we continued leaving normal life. However, there was also a time I suspected her activities on Facebook and I realised a guy whom she has known in the past has been pestering her and she seems to be encouraging him (That was during our period of financial crisis). I had confronted her, she had denied they never had anything but the guy was just pestering her. I apologised and went sober. I called the guy (who was also married) and lived in another faraway city. The guy denied having anything to do with her that she just knew her while growing up. The guy originally blasted me, but later called back and apologized and promised never to disturb her again. I was hurting for months, after which I forgave, forgot and moved on. Let me also state that during the period of my financial crisis, I made a covenant with God, after listening to a message, that whatever the case maybe, I will remain faithful to my wife. This I have manage to keep despite advances from both married and single friends and acquaintances.
THE REAL ISSUE
Now, we are living in the UK and very happy, she is working full-time, while I pursue my PhD full-time, work part-time and my son schools full-time and we were all happy, save the issue of delayed pregnancy and (to me, the poor sex life from her). Let me also state that I bought her a Samsung phone (when she arrived last year), which I have full access to because I know her password. Few months ago, she told me she wanted a bigger phone that she would send the one I bought her to my younger brother in Nigeria who had been disturbing her for a phone. Even though, I thought we did not need to spend money on a new phone at that crucial time because of the looming school expenses, I consented just for her to be happy and she got herself a Samsung galaxy s8 plus for 700pounds, which she would repay of 2 years. The first thing that prompted me about the phone was that she changed her password, but I never mind because I thought she was preventing my son, who always loved to play game on her phone from accessing the phone. However, after few weeks, I began to feel very uncomfortable about the whole stuff. My instinct just told me all was not well. Whatever was it, I could not place my finger on it. But after reviewing my work with my supervisor in the University yesterday, I just felt like going home to rest, instead of studying in the school and then, I met wife in the house with my son. She was trying to order some items online for my son for Christmas and on arrival, she gave her phone to select what we should buy for him, and then, the FB message came into her phone and I could read...'it is not what you think, I have been very busy'
I selected the item I thought was ok, gave returned her phone, picked my laptop and logged in to her Facebook. My wife pretended she was enganging me in discussion, but was responding to the message from a guy, who obviously was her lover and she wrote (I was reading from my computer without her knowledge) 'You know I will ALWAYS LOVE YOU'. and the other guy responded 'I love you more baby' (By this time, I was already burning on the seat, but I somehow managed to keep my calm). She wrote 'But you don't call me' ...and she stood up and went to the kitchen (I wanted to gather enough evidence before I reacted), but immediately she got to the kitchen, she deleted the conversation. At this time, I could not take it. My son was in the sitting room, watching cartoon. I went to her in the kitchen and aggressively confronted her. She originally pretended she did not know what I was saying, but when she say the aggression and seriousness in me she started begging and crying. I lost control of my emotion. I was angry and shouting. My son was there. He was too young, but very intelligent. he understood everything and began to blame his mum, at the same time asking me ti give mum a second chance. I was bitterly hurting. I felt like tearing her into pieces, but if I tried that in UK, it will be straight to jail. She could not state the reason behind her action. She was still trying to lie. She said the guy was her ex and they recently became friends on Facebook and the guy is trying to rekindle the old relationship. The guy is based in Nigeria, they do not even see. Everything she said was incoherently sense. All she wanted was that I should forgive her. I should not tell anybody. She cried, wept and what have you. I was hurting. If it were to by Nigeria, she would have left my house yesetrday, but in UK, it is difficult. The love turned to hatred. She managed to convince me to enter room with her, so that she will discuss the issue with me, without getting our son involved. In the room, it was the same crying and plea for forgiveness and a promise it would never happen again. I told her i was ok, but she would not let me out. I had to angrily shove her away from the door and she hit her head against the wardrobe. i was too angry, too sad, and too hateful to care. i called her all manners of unprintable names. I cursed her, I was just too angry. She kept begging. I left for the sitting room and she came back, knelt down before me and kept begging. My son was crying that two of us were making him sad. The young boy even threatened to tell his teacher in the school on monday. I was too angry to listen. I just told her to let me be. She stood up with tears in her eyes to enter the toilet, I checked her Facebook account again and realised that the lover had sent another message thus: "My dear I don't call you always to protect your home, but I always check your pictures every night before I go to bed" As I was reading, she stupidly deleted that again in the toilet. (Please note that my wife always post our family pictures on facebook, stating how I am the best husband in the world).
My anger erupted again and I rushed to meet her in the bathroom and asked her why she deleted the last message of the guy and she tearfully answered that she did not want me to see anything that could aggravate my anger the more. I angrily snatched the phone from her and smashed it on the floor. She knelt down at my feet and continued to cry and beg for forgiveness, but I was hurting so badly. I left for sitting room again and my son was confusedly crying. She came back and knelt before me and continued begging and weeping and begged we should go back to the room to discuss, at least to protect our son. After a while, i followed her. There was nothing to say; the same weeping, crying and promises to not do it again and swearing that they never had anything together. I told her I needed to talk to the guy and she pleaded I should not. I told her she is giving me an impression that she is protecting the guy so that she could continue her illicit affairs with him and told her it would not work. The can change tactics, but its is only a matter of time. I told her, I would forgive her, but I cannot trust her again and when there is no trust in marriage, the marriage is gone. I also told her I must engage that guy that she should give me his number, but she said her phone is no longer working. I made her feel comfortable that I have forgiven her, but honestly I am hurting. I went back to my laptop, continued chat with the guy on her messenger, but he was now online. We both slept on the same bed, i realised she could not sleep. In the middle of the night she woke me up to beg again, she was offering a make-up sexxx, but I was not interested. I told her i had forgiven her, but I am still hurting and there is no way i could have erection with her. In the morning, I checked her messanger, i discovered the iddiot has responded, still claiming to love her. I checked his profile, I realised he is a muslim, who has a wife with two kids. His location was not shown, but most of his pics her in Nigeria apart from two which have foreign background. I also realize he has limited posts on FB, but the phone number on his FB page is US phone number.
From my wife's FB account, I sent a message thus:
Hi, Mr Farouq, my name is Adams, I am Grace husband I just wish to inform you that all the rubbish you have been doing with my wife are now exposed to me I advise you in the name of whatever thing you believe, STAY AWAY FROM MY WIFE.
I also realize you are a married man. If you have any moral integrity and respect for family values, you will know that responsible men do not run after married women or break homes.
I do not care whatever you claim you think of her, just heed this warning STAY AWAY FROM MY WIFE.
He read it an never respond. I went to her facebook setting and unfriended him.
I left home in the morning to go study in the library, but honestly, I could not assimilate anything. I am so emotionally broken down, so psychologically disturbed. The whole event kept playing in my head. I found it difficult to rationalise it. I continued to find fault in my being and my personality. I know I am very attractive handsome young man. Despite showing I am married, ladies still flock around me. I am also a passionate lovemaker. I dress well and look neat. I don't seem to understand where I have failed. Sometimes I just close my eyes and i feel tears dripping, but I have got to be strong. As for her, she has remained in the room since morning, hiding her head in shame and crying profusely. I have cut off communication with her since I came back from school and I have enganged myself in drinking spirit maybe my spirit will be strenghtened.
This is my story, this is my ordeal. Please I need advice.
Thanks.
Both of you should try Jesus and if it's still doesn't work. Release her and be content to remain single for life.
havillaplus: Four vital documents to prove land ownership
As the value of Naira continues to depreciate and the uncertainty of the stock market, many people have come to realization that the oldest form of investment of owning land is the surest guard against inflation. When the stock market was booming, many sold their properties, took loans, took their live savings to cash in the then latest windfall. Before they know what was going on, the market came crashing to low ebb thus leaving many people in debt and poverty. This old wisdom still remains valid. Land appreciate, it does not depreciate. Now that many folks have bought into this reasoning. It is important to know that given Nigeria peculiar challenge where some land grabbers commonly called Omonile in the southwest sometimes sell one land to several persons, it is important to know what kind of documents that can help in such case. Also, the proper thing to do in purchasing a piece of land. Not following the proper process can lead to lose of earned money, debt, stroke and other fatal problems if not properly managed. In some cases, two persons will be laying claims to the same land which could lead to legal quagmire. In order to avoid all these needless headaches and problems, there are four kinds of documents that will validate your land ownership and thereby elucidated below.
1. Mode of payment: Many land grabbers (Omonile) want cash for payment of land. Many people have ignorantly paid in cash. One problem of cash payment for land is that it is untraceable in time of problem. The cash paid will be shared immediately by the member of the family and if there is a problem on ownership, this method of payment would not hold water. The best method of payment should be through bank cheque or draft and there must be a witness to the transaction. The role of the witness is to help in time of dispute. According to a legal practitioner and properties consultant, Barrister Matthew Ottah, the legal way to prove landownership is through production of Documents of Title. In order word, you must have more documents to back up your claim as the real owner of the land over the other person laying claim to the same land.
2. A Family Receipt: Family receipt Most lands in the country aside from government acquisition are owned by specific family who first settle on the land. It is important that you are dealing with right family or authorized representative. After payment, a family receipt from the authorized family head which must be witnessed by the family secretary and a keyed family member. The receipt must bear the family name that is selling the land, date of purchase, location of the land, amount paid and family address. Anything short of this is a red flag. Do not toy with you future, make proper due diligence before you part with your money, because once the money leaves your hand, the chance of reclaiming it is very slim.
3. Deed of Assignment or Conveyance: Deed of Assignment This legal instrument showed the parties to the agreement, its traces the history of how the land has change hand till the present owner. It must also include the names of the members of the family who sold the land, family head and at least a principal witness. It must be duly signed and stamped by the concerned parties.
4. A Valid Survey Plan: Survey plan This is an important document that you must demand from the family selling the land to you. In fact, this should be first document you must sight before thinking of buying the land. Armed with survey plan, you can go for geographical search to ascertain if the piece of land has not be designated for government in the future. Many people had burned their fingers over failure to do proper search on land before payment. The government will be blamed if in a future date demolish houses on lands that have been acquired for future development. Survey Plan showed all the beacon number, plan number, the name of the qualified surveyor , the year the land was surveyed with proof of lodgment of the red copy to the office of Survey-General Summarily, lack of production of title documents can lead to lose of one’s property. It will be wise to get these documents within a safe hand if you want to get out all of problem associated with land ownership in the country. Always get legal and professional advice before committing putting your money into real estate investment.
We as land, professionals need to inform people better and be careful with the use of misnormal terms such as ownership. By virtue of land use act of 1978 as amended and adopted, land is owned by the people and vested in the office of the state governor. What individual, family and organizations own is interest in land. What omo onile own is agricultural interest which is why govt pay them compensation when it acquire such land. What you by from them is mere fragment of their agic interest in such land. This explains why you still have to proceed to govt to obtain C of O "certificate of Occupancy" and not certificate of ownership. Our people in law practice need to come to land discipline in our universities to take course in land administration because this affects their perception and many terrible court injunctions on land dispute which has cost the country many developmental issues. This was remotely what gave rise to all these omo onile issues in Lagos and Ogun states.

CharleyBright: It is a booming business in Abuja. Armed gangs posing as drivers and passengers and robbing unsuspecting passengers. But what I don't understand if true is the use of POS to rob. That will be a foolish thing to do, as all POS are tied to an account,- an account is tied to a name and BVN. If robbers rob and use POS to debit accounts, the account tied to the POS is credited. All police investigation requires is to trace the account tied to the POS, and the criminals can easily be identified irrespective of the fact that they withdraw the money.
They do it in conjunction with fraudulent bank officials who still operate many account without bvn
ipeg34yahooco: Land grabbing is the illegal acquisition of property belonging to a lawful owner. The act of land grabbing is so prevalent in the southwest part of Nigeria, notably Lagos and Ogun State. This is particularly very rampant in the Ikorodu suburb, where the land grabbers a.k.a omoniles walk around with an air of arrogance and a belief that they are above the law. Their criminal activities include sale of same parcel of land to different persons, illegal occupation of landed properties, sale of properties belonging to another and forceful demand of money from property owners.
The Lagos and Ogun state government in a bid to curb the menace of these land grabbers, passed a law in 2016, which criminalized the dispossession of legitimate properties belonging to rightful owners .By the Lagos State Property Protection Law 2016 and its equivalent in Ogun state, such criminal acts on conviction, attracts 21 year jail term and 25 year jail term to a death sentence respectively.
In Lagos state, the Special Anti-Land Grabbers Task Force is empowered to enforce the law against offenders and just recently, it apprehended a suspected notorious land grabber in the Ikorodu suburb who was alleged to have been terrorizing residents and dispossessing them of their legitimate properties. A successful conviction by the task force in this case in question can serve as a deterrent to many other land grabbers still at large.
Although many Nigerians are skeptical of the implementation of this law in the face of many unimplemented laws in the country but that should not deter residents from reporting any act of land grabbing and where one is a victim in the case of Lagos State, by writing a petition addressed to the Chairman of the task force, detailing the land grabbing act, with particulars of the land grabbers. This should be accompanied by verifiable copies of titled documents evidencing ownership to such land. The task force, furnished with these documents and details, can carry out its investigation and ensure justice is done. By taking this step, residents can play their own role in aiding the apprehension of these criminals.
It was a shame that it took this long for the government in both Ogun and Lagos to come up with this law. Past administration indulged this primitive act. I am still looking for scape goat enforcement in Ogun. We still have many of these criminals and their Sponsoring Baales in Ogun suburb area of Lagos e. g sango ota, itele, mowe, Ibafo, Pakuro magboro among others.
jfolorun: "Show me in the Bible where Jesus said I am God and you should worship me." Christians are asked by moslems to provide the evidence of the divinity of Jesus Christ. Can we also ask the moslems to show evidences to support where Jesus said " I am only a prophet, do not worship me?" Did Jesus ever made claims only God could make? By His words John 8:58, John 11:25, John 10:30, Rev 1:8 By action Mathew 8:2, Mathew 14:33, Mathew 2:11
the24lukpost: Human rights Lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) denounced the rate of destitution and joblessness in the nation, notwithstanding the presence of very rich person Christian leaders.
Falana at the continuous Lagos Book and Arts Festival (LABAF) holding in Opportunity Stop, Lagos, went after Nigerian pastors, blaming them for draining their attendees.
The lawful illuminating presence considered how the vast majority of them lived in so much opulence however neglected to offer back to the general public.
He likewise taunted General Administrator of Recovered Christian Church of God, Minister Enoch Adeboye, for saying RCCG will have whatever number branches as could be expected under the circumstances.
Falana lambasted Adeboye and different ministers who want to increment branches, rather than concentrating on different establishments like schools and healing facilities.
His words: "The vast majority of the wealthiest ministers on the planet are from Nigeria, yet our kin are getting poorer.
"On the off chance that a large number of us had not gone to mission schools worked by the Catholics and the Anglicans… however what are we fabricating now? What are our houses of worship giving us?
"They are promising to manufacture houses of worship in each road. Every one of the stockrooms in Apapa worked by Awolowo have all progressed toward becoming holy places and business focuses."
Review that Cardinal Anthony Olubunmi Okogie as of late condemned Adeboye's remark, expressing that there is no Purity in expanding church branches.
"I heard that one of my associates, (Minister Enoch) Adeboye, said that he would love to build churches wherever in order to make it simple for worshipers to walk to them
I know since like a decade ago that this prosperity thing will get to this. Where we got it wrong all of us church inclusive is with this idea of individual wealth against common wealth. Our core value is still primitive when it comes to perception of wealth. Many of our leaders still hold on to agrarian age wealth perception - an aftermath of neo colonisation. I owe Trump that one when he says many African nations should be recolonised.

Ayobami97: Well, u sound like a fool as well for calling someone's disbelief in a metaphysical being foolishness. I'm a non believer in the existence of some god. I believe it makes me reasonable and useful, instead of proving what's unprovable with no replicable evidence, an evidence that can the test of prove. If u believe ur belief in a supernatural being is wisdom, good for u. We all have a choice.
I am not the one who called you fool I only agree with God. In fact to call Nigerian atheist a fool is an understatement because his foolishness is premised on ignorance.
Akin1212: You're absolutely correct, I am using my sense to pave ways for myself. I don't have any life problems and if any comes up, I will also deal with it with my sense.
At least, I am better than those who don't use their senses to solve their life problems but probably run to a god who doesn't ultimately help either.
So, what exactly is your point?
I thought you would disagree with my position since you concur, I rest my case.
Akin1212: I am an atheist and I have asked a ton of Christians and Muslims, the children and slaves of Jehova and Allah these two questions. The wonder is that the first question's answer always raise the second question and they go mute. Answer it if you can but intelligently, but if you are stupid and you like e-war, I'm also at home for you.
1. Why can't God just kill Satan and everything will go back to normal, after all, he created him, so he should know how to kill him.
Their typical answer is always - God, either one, is a just God and he must follow due process.
And then the second question pops up
2. Can God do and undo and is he unquestionable?
If God can do and undo and is unquestionable, then the law can't hold him or question him. If the law can question him, then he cannot do and undo and he is questionable. It's a simple logic
If you can answer this, and I can't come up with questions anymore, then I'm your convert.
You know what is amazing about you is that you use your sense that you designed, created and input in your skull to raise the questions above and those question help you conclude that there is no God. Then it will be most amazing if you can use this same sense to settle all your life problems and be happy ever after.
cardoctor: This should be an eye opener to diesel engined car owners. The condition and quality of diesel in the Nigerian market is appalling. I have observed that there is so much adulterated diesel in circulation that can ultimately clog up your fuel system with catastrophic consequences to your engine as well as associated emission components. I have worked on diesel engines for over 30 years now and this is the worst condition of sludge and dirt that I have ever found in any diesel fuel tank.
Most diesel fuel bought on the black market and also gas stations could possibly be contaminated with dirt and water that can potentially cause engine malfunctions that could adversely affect your fuel economy. A Toyota Prado diesel was brought into my workshop as a non-starter and further diagnostics revealed what you see in the pictures below.
1. Diesel fuel tanks (Main and reserve) was filled with sludge and water. 2. Diesel filters in the fuel tanks was completely covered in sludge. 3. Engine bay filter was completely blocked with dirt.
A proper wash of the fuel tanks and brand new filters had the vehicle back on its feet and now drives superbly.
Avoid black market diesel and change your filters regularly (every 10,000kms). Clean out your fuel tanks (every 20,000kms)

Great, 30 yrs is the time to develop local design as an improvement over Toyota stuff. We can't afford to be the mercy of tech for ever, Pls.
Lilimax: Tithe is from God. Pay your tithe for things not to be tight for you All these noise and preaching against tithe is another means for the devil to keep God's children in perpetual bondage of hardship. The devil is a liar!
Great but this the way I see things. Should tithe be our major concern considering what we are passing through as a nation? Jesus in Mathew 23:23 said we should be more concerned about more weightier matter. This weightier matter has more connection with our problems in Nigeria eg corruption. Unbelievers and atheist nation has better country than ours. Our concept of prosperity needs redefining. Nobody is thinking of national development but island of prosperity amidst ocean of poverty. All our craving for blessing is all about acquiring imported products. We seem very complacent with underdevelopment. I have never heard a man of God who preach that pay your tithe so that God can increase our national capacity to develop industrially, the only thing we hear is pay your tithe so that you have more blessing to procure imported products. We have a long way to go Mind you I am a tithe payer and even willing to pay more than tithe to God, but I think we need a paradigm shift in our perception of God's blessing
Religion can be described as the service, belief and worship of a super human controlling power of especially a personal God or gods. From various authority sources on human behavior it is obvious that human nature has spiritual dimensional need. In other words humans are wired to long for relationship with supernatural. Maslow in 1943 identified intellectual and spiritual dimension of human nature, with its attendant self-actualization need. This aspect of human need creates a vacuum in human nature which people intend to fill by belief system known as “Religion” The scripture explained this to be as result of separation that happened in the Garden of Eden. From time immemorial various suggestions, has been offered to fill this aspect of human need, which turned out theories and hypothesis better known as religious doctrines. God and Devil’s involvement God and the devils’ involvement has been in response to this specialized need of man for obvious different objectives. For instance God manifested Himself to Abraham and made His covenant with him. He gave a set of rules and doctrines to Abraham descendants, which till today forms basis of Judaism as a religion. Devil on the other hand hijacked this situation by manifesting as angel of light to vulnerable victims by posing as an impostor of Most High God or His agent. The end results False Religion. The situation however produced religious natural man, which is still unstable, unpredictable and wicked, though religiously informed. Both True and False Religion failed to produce God’s desired result. The turnout of event, though obviously known to God beforehand, precipitated confusion, deception, ignorance and foolishness on the part of man and necessitated the need for manifestation of Jesus Christ. Yes, it is as a result of this that God manifested JESUS, for the purpose of providing solution to the most nagging problem of mankind, which is majorly IGNORANCE. 1John 3:8b For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Jesus came to reveal the true identity of God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; John 6:27, John 1:18, Matthew 22:42-45 Jesus came to validate theory of creation as offered in the scripture and provide detailed explanation. Mathew 19:8 Jesus came to validate the explanation of how mankind problem started and what went wrong Mathew 13:24-25 Jesus came to reveal the greatest commandment of God. LOVE. Matthew 22:37-40,Matthew 12:33, Luke 10:30-36 Jesus came to reveal the strongest strength of man. FAITH. Mathew 8:26,Matthew 9:22, 29, Matthew 14:31, Matthew 17:20, Matthew 21:21 Jesus came to let us know RELIGION is not solution of mankind question Matthew 6:1-16 Jesus came to reveal heavenly order as a template model that should be followed on earth Matthew 6:10 Jesus came to reveal “concepts of perfect will of God” as opposed to “permissive will of God” Matthew 19:3-9 Jesus came to reveal that RELIGION cannot save man. Matthew 23:25 Jesus came to explain how man can be saved. John 3:3 Jesus came to explain the concept of salvation to mean escape from second death John 3:16-17 Jesus came to reveal the reality of hell. Mark 9 :43-48 Jesus came to reveal the tripartite nature of man. Body, Soul and Spirit John 3:5-8 Jesus validated His assertions with signs and wonders. Luke 8:27-29 Jesus explained to us the role SIN played in predicament of mankind John 5:14 Jesus revealed to us the concept of DIVINE PURPOSE. John 9:1-3 Jesus revealed to us how God wishes to be worshipped. John 4:23-24 Jesus came to let us know God is our father who art in heaven. Matthew 6:9 Jesus came to let us know worshipping God is not tied to physical location. John 4:23 Jesus came to let us know humans are 100 percent within the tracking system of God. Luke 12:5-7 Jesus came to reveal the graphic details of HELL. Mark 9:43-46 Jesus came to confirm the end time prophecies by the prophets. Jesus came to reveal to us that we can deliver the demon possessed victims by casting out the demons possessing them in His name, a feat hitherto then was thought impossible. Matthew 12:43-45, Matthew 10:8, Mark16:17 Jesus came to reveal unto us that all power in heaven and in earth is given unto Him. Mathew 28:18
Conclusion It is however disheartening to still observe today that, more than 2000 years after these discoveries man still love RELIGION so much, that it is still responsible for major problems confronting man today on a global scale. Religious groups has increased over years, while denominations and factions within each religious group has been ever increasing. After the ascension of Christ the FAITH in Him disintegrated to Christianity in Antioch. Later Christianity further disintegrated to factions of orthodox and Protestants. Factions further disintegrated to denominations and now denomination is disintegrating to false teaching groups, No wonder Christ doubted whether He would meet FAITH again upon His return to earth. Man built religion around Gods will, but JESUS, the Way, the TRUTH and LIFE revealed to us the mind of God. Little wonder He lamented whether He would still meet faith on His return to earth. The Idea now is not to abolish religion, but it should be great if all religion can be synchronized with the truth JESUS. Shalom.
Revsola: I was driving to Lagos from Ibadan yesterday.Getting very close to Prayer City I stopped to check a strange sound from my front tyres. After tightening the screws, just before entering into my car...some men numbering around 6 in an unofficial car with no police escort, accosted me saying this is a no parking zone.I was calm and tried to explain myself..but one of them entered into my car that I need to drive to their office so they could take "inventory" and warn me. I suspected foul play but on looking at the attire of one of them I saw Federal Roads Committee...inscribed on his shirt.
Following the direction of the person now in my car...i was stylishly forced to drive to a place that happens to be the compound of GLORYGATE EVENTS CENTER,Km 35 Lagos-Ibadan Express,Close to Mosebolatan Bus stop,Ibafo...which as I realized later is not their office.
In that compound I met about 5 other cars...and money was being siphoned from them as Fines for "Illegal Parking". The fines ranges from 15,000 to 45,000Naira. The dubious aspect is that the money is to be TRANSFERRED TO AN INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT(The person collecting the money in his account is Ogbebor, Act Number 011502...GTB) The people wearing special Tshirt...comes in once in a while and handover their victim to their wild looking...heavily bearded partners.
When I transferred my own "FINE"(N15,500)..in order to quickly escape from them...the person attending to me made a fake phone call to confirm the transfer (as if the alert is to be received by someone far away).I knew this was a fake phone call after I have verified the identity of the account owner who is actually among the fierce looking individuals in the compound!
I am sure that these set of OFFICIALLY assisted criminals are raking in millions of naira on daily basis. If truly any "fine" is to be paid,it should go to a "government/agency bank account" I want the general public to be careful not to fall into such hands and also want the Law enforcement agencies to move swiftly to arrest the situation.
PP: When they saw that I didnt argue much them..they spoke covetly with each other and wrote a fake receipt(no duplicate..judging from the backside of the receipt) for me...and at a time they became jittery and searched my phone...suspecting that I took a video shot of the place.(I didnt video them, but I took a picture of a scene..which luckily for me they did not see on the phone!)
PPP:I was able to trace the picture and phone number of the guy whose account number was been used for the robbery

ggrin: My best friend slept with my boyfriend, I still love my boyfriend and I think we are going to be together again, but I cannot get it out of my head what both of them did to me.
My boyfriend said we were on a break when it happened, they were totally smashed and had sex. My friend has been my best friend for like nearly ten years, and she very well knew, break or not, how passionately in love I am with him.
Her excuse that it was that she was just really drunk and lonely and he was just there. His excuse is that we were on a break. While we were on this break about 2 months ago, I kissed someone else , wrong, I know, but I was honest with my boyfriend about it when we decided to get back together, he kept throwing it in my face, guilt tripping me about kissing someone else while we were on a break.
Then come to find out on that same break he had slept with my best friend but failed to tell me about it. But through all of this, I still love him, but hate him at the same time from taking away my best friend from me ...I really love this guy ...I don't know what to do
Both of you are birds of the same feather and you badly need JESUS.
Matthew 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Matthew 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Note it's only twain that can become one flesh, not greater than twain.
casted81: What's ur view about polygamy. is there any where in the bible where polygamy is strongly condemned I need help on this.
Atheist & Muslims respect yourselves & keep off from this thread. Matured Christians only.
The origin of polygamy is associated with sin. The sun of faithlessness on-the part of Abraham and Sarah as they staggered at the promise of God. Though God permissively was silent on it in the law dispensation, I but outrightly condemned it in the dispensation of Grace.
GibsonB: Its official Kcee may be the Elder bro in real life, but Emoney is the one feeding him! It is No Longer News that Even though Kcee is the Older bro to Emoney, He worships him like his god Because of the money he gathers, Kcee once said he made Emoney popular, But There's no better reasons why he will serve his younger brother than his Cash, With the photo and caption he just posted 3minutes ago, the rumors that Emoney is the one feeding him, might just be true.. Proudly going below your younger bro, wasn't such a bad idea, was it?
He called him the Youngest Billionaire of all times. See below!

Kaybthaniels: can a buliding plan be corrected or modified? i have a 3 Bedrom flat on a half plot of land that's been built up to lintel level, the master bedroom is ensuite but the other 2 rooms are not, i am wondering if its possible to change the other 2 rooms to ensuite and also have the kitchen opened up to the dining area, is this possible?
Physical inspection of the site is very important. To get the best result reproduce the plan to scale using drafting software. Then you can marry the inputs. Thank me later.

1bunne4lif: Rubbish! Believe this at your own detriment. As a catholic, I know how our priests dress and from what I saw, that man is not a catholic priest, this is a movie scene, and before you come for my head, I can't vouch for anybody but I know that priests who take beer don't take it outside.
