Hello, My name is Samuel, I gave my life to christ early 2012 at CAC and later become depper life member in 2014, I was so passionate for the work and to the service of God and everything was going well with me in many area, financially, materially mostly spiritually, as times goes by towards 2015 ending I invested in one online business that make me to loss almost everything I have gathered, I start blaming God for it, during the business there is some money I try to borrow promise to pay then back in short period of time. when I an unable to repay and could not face then anymore I relocate from ondo state to akwa ibom maybe things would get better. but to cut the long story short, many failure start arise in academic, financial and now began with spiritual, firstly I quit my quite time, I don't do weekly fasting again, I find it difficult to pray when I wakeup in the morning, I dont go to weekly service anymore only Sunday service now the worst part is that I don't fell like going to Sunday service again I don't attend sunday service more than 6 times since this year has began nd now i start doing things I hate to do before like listen to worldly music, lying, watching BLUE film has become my habit, thinking of visit ASHAWO house which I have never do in my entire life before even resisting my friend that do it. now I feel helpless and restless don't know were to start again. Non of my pastor is aware of my backsliding they only discover I don't attend service like before and I also notice that the worst of this happen immediately after my BAPTISM , please help want should I do but this thing always come to my mind that as far as I m broke I can not serve God willing heartedly.

2 people have died as an uncompleted two-storey building collapsed on Thursday afternoon at NICON Town Estate, off Admiralty way, in Lekki area of Lagos. It was gathered that the workers were mixing concrete on the site when part of the building collapsed, with people trapped under the debris.

Professor of Christian theology in University of Ilorin, Pius Oyeniran Abioje, has dismissed the agelong Biblical claim that Jesus Christ died to save the world.

Speaking while delivering the 167th Inaugural Lecture of the university, entitled, ‘Christian Prophets and Other Prophets in Nigeria’, the professor said Jesus Christ was killed by haters of truth.

Abioje, who noted that critical prophets should anticipate opposition and conspiracy from unexpected quarters, said: “The conspiracy that killed Jesus Christ came from the millieu of the chief priest and the political elite.
“Regrettably,the interpretations by many Christians is that God wanted Jesus to die so as to save the world. Yet the world continues to persecute innocent critical prophets.

“Why cannot Christians emphasise that Jesus was killed by haters of truth,the religio-political powers that be,particularly since the world is still seeking redemption?
“Nigerians should learn to see critical prophets as friends of the society,and pardon them whenever they happen to err,since no human being is infallible.”
The professor asked the people in positions of authority to learn to see critical prophets as partners in progress towards human edification,not as adversaries.

The university don also admonished: “Divinatory/esoteric prophets should avoid fraudulence.” They should see their divinatory knowledge as divine endowment to be used altruistically and not for exploitation.
“People who consult esoteric prophets should be discerning and not gullible. “ They should avoid frequent recourse to divinatory prophecy to avoid mediumistic psychosis”
Abioje also urged Nigerians to strive to become critical prophets to speak against evil on behalf of God and try to live holy lives.

He however advised: “Academic p rogrammes generally should include introduction to critical prophecy,which makes a person to be committed to advocacy in godly words and actions,even as medical doctors,engineers,architects,lawyers and so on and not only as clergy men and women, Virtues for which critical prophets strive is unarguably the key to individual and social progress,even when truth can be very bitter.”

This is where very careful discernment is required.my answer is NO. By definition a denomination cannot fit into my concept of Church. A denomination is a group which has acquired an identity of its own, separate from that of its members and as such can operate and have a life without anything controlling it. Instead it controls the people in it. Since we know the holy spirit can only indwell sons, humans, the life if the organization is clearly not from God . please look closely.
The Church is not an earthly organization, it is spiritual and is not bound by space and time, when 2 or 3 are gathered in his name Church happens. When they disperse Church disperses. To create an organization that retains its life and name and identity even after the saints are dispersed is to have created an earthly organization and that is not church. So the lord leads 3 of his children individually, to a place , where they meet and have a strong spiritual fellowship- Church. They disperse and that us it. Nothing says the 3 of them must keep coming there at that same time under a name and structure! When that happens , a human arrangement as opposed to a spiritual has been started. Except of course if the lord specifically leads the same to that place every single time !
My argument is that the leading of the spirit has been replaced by human decision making and that has resulted in organizations that are running in their own strength, with their own timetable - what I call denominations. People join churches, their children become members, and you have a human society growing by natural principles. But bible, Jesus himself said that which is of the earth is earthly .....and again flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
This in my humble view is responsible for even the false teachers you talk aboutband the deadnessnof denominationalism. They spirit stays away when the flesh calls the shots. Can you imagine fixing a place and time and presuming God will always join you there when he has his own plan you refused to ask him about.
But why is this so important? These organizations firmed and operated in the flesh are the building blocks of Babylon, man's empire and God's enemy. Their later end is a fierce battle against God's authority and place in the earth.

You said it all. The root cause of this is side stepping of Holy Spirit. This has led to conversion of Christianity as way of life to religion which is attempt to fellowship with God without Holy Spirit.
If you observe you see that is why Jesus did not run local Assembly ministry neither did it condemn it. His emphasis was on the ends- win soul, preach the word. Creating local assemblies is just man's invention which is not wrong provided it is not abused.

23. The prayer pattern of those who will be left behind will also undergo a radical change. They will not be praying for things anymore. They will only be praying for strength to withstand the tortures of the Anti-Christ and die bravely to join the other saints. None will be praying for jobs, marriages, etc.
24. It is equally worthy of note that some of those who will miss their flight will not be able to endure the torture of the Anti Christ. They will receive the mark of the beast and thereby be doomed forever.
25. When the ready saints are gone, all our denominational walls of partition will collapse. A man was electrocuted as he charged his mobile phone while in the bath, an inquest has heard.
Richard Bull, 32, died when his iPhone charger made contact with the water at his home in Ealing, west London.
A coroner ruled his death was accidental and plans to send a report to Apple about taking action to prevent future deaths.
Safety campaigners have warned about the dangers of charging mobiles near water following the inquest.
Mr Bull is believed to have plugged his charger into an extension cord from the hallway and rested it on his chest while using the phone, the Sun reports .
He suffered severe burns on his chest, arm and hand when the charger touched the water and died on 11 December, the newspaper said.
Assistant coroner Dr Sean Cummings, who conducted the inquest at West London Coroner's Court on Wednesday, is to write a prevention of future death report to send to Apple.
Charity Electrical Safety First said the death highlighted some of the dangers of having electrical appliances around water.
Product safety manager Steve Curtler said people "will not get electrocuted" from a mobile appliance such as a laptop or mobile phone if it is not being charged.
Such devices typically have a low voltage of 5V to 20V so "you probably wouldn't feel it" if they came into contact with water, he added.
However, connecting a mobile phone to a charger plugged into the mains electricity supply increases the risk of harm.
"Although the cable that is plugged in to your phone is 5V, somewhere along the line it's plugged into the electricity supply and you're reliant on that cable and a transformer to make sure you don't get into contact with the main voltage," said Mr Curtler.
He said cheap, non-branded chargers may not offer such protection, but even with genuine chargers you are still taking an unnecessary risk.
"You're wet which conducts electricity a lot better, you're in the bath with no clothes on so skin resistance is less. You're vulnerable in the bathroom."
'Risking death'
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) warns against using any electrical appliance in the bathroom.
Public health adviser Sheila Merrill said: "People need to be aware of taking an electrical appliance into the bathroom.
"The advice has always been given with regard to hairdryers and radios - not to use in the bathroom.
"If you got any appliance attached to the mains electricity circuit you have to be aware there is a danger there.
"You're risking death. Electricity and water don't mix, but with particularly with phones, people don't probably always think about it.
"It's not advisable to use them while they're plugged in, particularly in a bathroom situation."
She said ROSPA did not see this type of accident on a "regular basis" and most mobile phone manufacturers cover the electric shock risk in their safety handling support advice.
However, with a lot of mobile phones the advice does not come with the instructions you receive in your hand, she added.
