A large amount of bomb-making equipment has been found in a restive city in central Nigeria just weeks ahead of national polls, authorities said on Wednesday.

General Hassan Umaru said three suspects are being held in connection with the materials found on Tuesday in a house in an expensive residential neighbourhood in the city of Jos.

Materials included dozens of detonators, lab equipment, a timer and an instruction manual on bomb-making.

"Depending on the combination, this equipment can cause lethal damage anywhere," Umaru said.

We are now in December 2010, and no significant or noticeable improvement in sight.

Population of Nigeria = 150m, and some morons proposed 6,000 Megawatts to Jonathan.

Why cant they propose about 50,000 megaWatts? worse case scenario they might generate about 8000 to 15000 megawatts which I believe will go a long wayyyyyyyy.
