Hello people I won an appeal case and was sent a letter on the 22nd of sept to go and drop my passport for my visa but I did a change of name to my hubbys name on my new passport but submitted old and new passport and was told to a write a letter to the embassy stating this which I did with proof of sworn affidavit and news paper publication and submitted all but I haven't heard anything from the visa people in VI since. Please want to find out how long it takes to get my passport back from the visa office because it's almost a month and if anyone knows the number for the vsf office in VI so I can call and confirm because it's taking too long

Your best bet is to email them using that email address they sent u.... or u can fill out that online form on the international enquiry page....

Its almost 3 weeks now..... ...I'm tired of emailing them ........
if u are around their office pay them a visit ....

If u are sure u missed the last 2 digits of ur passport number u will be asked to revisit TLs center where u did ur biometrics to correct the error....

"about mentioning just one of you 2 previous refusals"........... Its not a big issue too.... it would have been if u lied about being refused before ....

In the meantime I'd advice u to try reading from pages 1 - 205... it will keep u entertained while u wait ....

Can anyone please tell me how long does it normally take for TLScontact to contact you with a collection date. I called the HO they said a decision was made on the 28th September 16.

Still no one has called or emailed my husband to come and the TLScontact website is still saying the application is awaiting a decision.

Don't worry its just 1 week ago u got ur decision made after a long wait.......
so give them 2 weeks then pop up to their office if no email from them yet...... ur parcel should be there by then hopefully.......

There has to be a sponsor for settlement visas ....
So you guys have to fill that sponsorship for depending on who is the sponsor .....
if you are the sponsor and you want your partner to join u in the uk you fill it up ....
on the other hand if your partner is your sponsor, he or she has to fill that form correctly ........

Hi Portsmouth I just received an email from ukva asking me to start another application until I get to where they require the health surcharge .... after paying up the health surcharge I should email them my new IHG number with my passport details .... then I can submit my passport, tb test result, two recent passport photograph and the email of decision to the embassy ... hopefully I'll get this sorted next week.... thx ....
