toksys: hello good people thanks for prompt response i appreciate please i have been out of job for almost a year now but i have a business name which i use personally for small jobs at least to make ends meet (dont have bank account for the business name just use my personal account name).when filling the form which status will be best for me should i claim unemployed will that work against me or self employed if i claim self employed i will be ask to provide salary earned monthly and (bank statement and i have not open one for the company) to back up this claim how do i go about this,Although my wife will be the sponsor.please what should i do good people of the house will appreciate. Mr toksys..... I've gone through your profile and it appears your wife is your sponsor. If this is the case, the burden of proof falls on your wife. Your wife has to show that she meets the financial threshold as well as other requirements in other for her to qualify to bring you over as her dependant. Your employment or unemployment status I believe has little or nothing to do with your application. I'd leave it to my Ogas @ the top to help you out from here...Goodluck |

The English test certificates and other things are to be posted to sheffield ...... About the difference in 3p ... its not an issue .... Hope u sent in a copy of your employment contract or employment letter. |

Foreveryours201: Yes I sent it off yesterday. Had a few people read over my statement. I highlighted relevant sections on my payslips, employment letters, bank statement. Also added tenancy agreement and letter to back up the utility bills and council tax bill they claimed not to have seen.
The only thing I'm concerned about is the English requirement as we didn't have a Naric letter or assessment done at time of application but processing it now and wrote on the appeal form that the statement from Naric is pending and once available we will send it through. I'm worried that based on that alone they may not overturn their decision, though hubby submitted original and copy of degree cert and official letter from the University. Good stuff, well done. I can't talk about the Naric stuff cuz i've got no clue on that... As i did both, my degree and masters in the Uk so i just sent in my certificates and transcripts........ But if you told to get it, then by all means do. Hit them with all you've got.....Not long b4 we hear you celebrating.... |

Lexusgs430: Exceptional circumstances - In your case is that, you believe your documentations were not properly scrutinized. All documentations requested your submitted and were all in date. You can appeal on your husband's behalf. NB: They haven't doubted the genuineness of your union (thats a good thing). The issues they had are more technical. That's so true u can apply on ur husbands behalf .... |

I mentioned in the application that I am pregnant and provided medical evidence to this effect but they didn't refer to it.
where can I read about your case?[/quote]My wife was also pregnant when she submitted my application with evidence of her maternity details but they ignored it.... but after the birth of my child we sent them copies of her birth certificate and British passport couple with evidence for new mortgage my wife secured for our little family . .... although we had her family house which we used for the application....
my point is that you can send in more evidence as things unfold ( childbirth)....
What do I know ? .... let my bosses highlight on this plz |

Lexusgs430: I can already smell wallg123................ He is presently reading and preparing a response........ lol @ Oga Lexus570...I've been busy distributing all the stuffs I used while in Nigeria cuz am off for @ least 5 yrs .... Sorry to hear about your mums I'll health and application refusal ..... I'd plead with you to adhere to good advice from people in this forum ... I'm a living testimony..... Fill in the appeal form properly, addressing every issue raised in the refusal ..... If you claim to meeting all the requirements, then I don't see why you won't either get an overturn or win @ the tribunal... " Did I hear you say you are pregnant "? If that's the case you are favoured.... My case was complicated... take time to read thorough my case..... There is hope for you through the appeal. .. The only low side to appeal is that its a long process and it might cost you alot if you using a lawyer . ... but I'm sure you will definitely overcome.. |

Just a quick update....I paid the IHS this morning and sent the email with the details...e.g. the old and new GWF, IHS ref and the payment amount..
I called the HO today they said the application is still being processed so hopefully they were still waiting for us to pay. Fingers crossed I don't receive a refund in the new couple of days. I really pray after all this waiting that my husband would be here for Christmas. Don't worry everything should be fine... just keep emailing them for updates after 2 weeks .... u need to see how I was busy bombarding them with emails ....@ a time I felt bad for my actions .... lol |
