Even mai schools told me to get a waiver letter 4rm my high school.. That I shouldnt wait for TOEFL..

I hope you understand you will have to defer your admission. Send an email to your admission specialist stating your denial and your plan to write the standardised tests. A new I-20 will be sent. is the bolded condition on your I-20?

Is it SAT or TOEFL i will sit for since am going for my Undergraduate in US although my school waived it but they said when i get to the school in US i will sit for English test and Math test.. So house advise me on which one to do.

OjaP: WtF!!! Who is telling you that your school is not too good? YES, the CSU system may not be highly rated as the UC's but I can tell you that they are also good. I can name 10 NL'ers including my very self who presented CSU I-20 at the embassy and got their VISAS.

CSU Bakersfield used to be the only university in the West offering MS Petroleum Geology. Only recently did CSU Long Beach started offering it. Even the so called UC's still don't offer it as a course. Many people I know including myself got a job with a CSU diploma. So?

You said they asked you if you will be taking any exams when you get to the school. Your response wasn't so good enough. I don't think it is proper to tell the V.O that the answer to that is in your admission letter. You should know it off hand and start telling them the exams you will take and what will happen after you take the exams. That will show that you really know what you are going there to do. Last time I checked, freshers take some English Placement or Mathematics exam, I am not sure if that is what the V.O wants to hear. If you took the SAT, I don't think that should even come up at all because you would just tell them you already took the SAT and TOEFL and won't be any need for that. And if you are still considering any of the UC's, you better be ready to have a perfect SAT score because they are so picky and highly competitive. On top of this is that, it is *effing expensive for Int'l students.

Fresno state which you applied to is a good school. You tried your best at the interview, don't blame it on school or whoever you gave your prayer quotes. Today isn't just your day. Go back and reapply.

Sometimes when God does good things that do not favor us at a particular time, we feel bad and think He doesn't love us as a child, but I tell you God planned our individual future, sees beyond now, never sleeps nor slumber and i assure you He will never renege on His promises for you.

Re-apply, Take standardized tests if possible(you know heaven helps those who help themselves) , pay all necessary fees, schedule an interview date and go claim your VISA.

syahboy: How old are you bro? Since you're going for undergraduate studies you need to be around 17-22. If you're older that could be the problem. Also the 2 or 3 Vo's issue, I suspect the way you dressed or looked(just my opinion). You may also want to change school, Cal State Uni are not so great(apply to the UC's if you're fixated on California). Wish you all the best cheers!

I give special thanks to God Almighty cos i was DENIED visa today at US embassy Lagos.. STRANGE THINGS HAPPENED SO I GOT STRANGE REPLY. kindly please read it and advise me

I got to the place by 6:30AM after i was told that i cant pass through car park down to the embassy cos that was a short route for me. When i got there i saw people on the queue and met a lady who asked me how many passport was need and i said 2 and she still asked me to allow her use my phone to tell his brother at the parking lot to bring passport photograph for her.

After less than 45 minutes people for interview stated by 7:30am was called on the queue. the we all line up for checking of documents... Well i must say this US spent most of their money on securities cos i observed that they have more than 7 securities either armed or unarmed. After i was told to sit down and we started primary school play when one person will sit turn by turn, i cant remember when last i did that but i did it today at the US embassy well and later it go to my turn with 4 others and we are escort to the main building..

THE STRANGE THINGS:
while i was praying with my prayer points cos i attend MFM, A guy was sitting beside me and he saw my prayer points, after some minutes he said when we get inside i will let him also use my prayer points and i said no problem... Eventually we got inside different time but strangely we sat close to each other and the first words he told me was that he was pointing to 2 different VO's in stand 4 and 6.. I no send this guy message oo but he said the GUY in stand 6 always deny people and i told him i dont care cos God is in control and advise me not to go there when my number pop up there.. Instant this guy finished saying this to me i started praying back and telling God anywhere my number pop up God should favour me cos i have less words to speak and holy spirit should do the rest of the speaking for me.. Unfortunately for me while praying i dont know when my number pop up for BIO-METRIC and i missed my RIGHT TIME there... The same thing goes to the guy cos i was 122 and the guy was 123.. I just raised my head up and i saw 124 but i didnt take note that i had already missed my right i have to meet a security man and explained to him but the security man asked me to wait that my number will still pop up (I used the OT of a girl in NL here ).

Inside my mind i keep saying God take control but i still never knew am missing my right time until i look at the number screen and i saw when the one of 120 move till 141 and the one of 124 is already in 168 for BIO METRIC while INTERVIEW number are within 114 to 118 and i dont want to miss that too since i missed the BIO METRIC... So i had to approach another security man who came inside from outside and it was this man that order the security i told before to go and meet the guy at stand 7 or so it was then i realized i was DELAYED for something to happen... Instantly there i said GOD turn this delay to blessing until i went for my bio metric.. This same guy immediately he noticed i solved that he stood up from where he was and went to the same VO who did my bio metric and came back to me asked if the man give me my Passport back and i said NO and he said the man didnt give him too.

Instead for 122 to call, the guy number was called 123 and it was the same person who the guy told me that usually deny people attended to this guy while i was waiting looking at him how is was denied, Although through their conversation i noticed what he told the VO about his wife was not correct to what he filled on DS-160 so he got denied and he was still there trying to tell the VO how many times he was denied and reason too.

After 1 or 2 minutes my number was called on counter 2 so i immediately disappear for God to appear and let his will be done.

This is my interview below;

VO: Good morning
Me : Morning Ma
VO: Which school are you going?
ME: California State Uni, fresno ( I looked up i saw 2 VO's but i dont know why?) STRANGE oo
VO's: Which course
ME: Computer science (Major)
VO's: Pass me you documents
Me: I quickly pass am... (Another STRANGE things cos Documents before any other things)
VO's: why do pick the school?
ME: I told thhem school has unique facilities in learning and it have one of the biggest libraries in the California State University system and also they have a well structured course curriculum and how they also teach their student and practical stuff too cos my course requires practicals
VO's: who is your sponsor?
ME: my lovely mother ( I looked up again the VO has increased to 3 just because of me) 1 was typing and asking me questions while the rest where looking inside the system but i dey surprise oooo.
VO's: What did she do for work?
ME: She retired as a matron at the Lagos state general hospital Ikeja, but now she owns an Enterprise Company where she is into multi trading business of general merchandise sales and supply of pharmaceutical drug and equipment both wholesales and retails.
VO's: which school do u finish from (High school)
ME: I told them Skylight Comp college
VO's: Which year do you grad from High school?
ME: 2011 and i told them i have to resit in 2012 cos i did neco while the school accept WAEC
VO's: which other school did you apply to?
ME: i told her 2 different school in different states although i didnt apply to them .... (instant she check her system and i dont know why but will they know someone apply to 1 school and the person claimed more than 1 cos i would have love to tell them 1 school but since it was advised here that if you say 1 school is a big DENIED)
VO's: Which test will you take when you get to the school?
ME: I told them just the tests which was stated on my letter, but it sounds STRANGE to me cos she knew i will take those tests there while i was expecting them to ask me if i take any standardized exams so that i can finish them there cos that what people do say when they sharing their testimony. (maybe i was denied cos i didnt write the test here?)
VO's: they started looking into the system together and the main VO started saying am sorry blah blah blah blah and handed my documents back.
ME: INSTANTLY I SAY THANK YOU JESUS cos i came, i saw unfortunately i didnt conquer today cos i but i will conquer tomorrow.


Big thanks to God for this interview and all that happened cos that GUY is a GUY I MUST MISS TODAY but only God knew why i didnt miss him when i got to the main hall cos i miss him while i was on my way to the main hall although i pity him thinking he can benefit from my prayer point but this GUY was USED to STOPPED me cos my GO will always say STOP THEM BEFORE THEY STOP YOU and the LION IN THE US EMBASSY swallowed me today but when next i re apply the LION CANT SWALLOW ME cos i will DESTROY him with power in the name of JESUS.

Big thanks also to BIG FRANCIS, OLAWARLEY, RICKY ROSA, IMPERIOUXX, GBOYEGA, SIMON and other in the house that i didnt mention your names but i cant stop crying here cos i disappointed you all to by not sharing a good news with you especially OLAWARLEY cos you encourage me to work with power for prayer and fasting which i started fasting since july 1st up till this morning. Finally i fail God cos he already promise me this but all is well... Right now I WILL PURSE, I WILL OVERTAKE AND I WILL RECOVER BACK ALL WHAT I LOST TODAY cos i will never stop my journey half way until i reach my goal and get this my US STUDENT VISA. (Amen)

effulgence: God will do it for you as he did mine amen.When all those things happened in the morning,my spirit broke down,I won't lie.I became pessimistic,but God in his infinite mercy turned it around for my good.When u go for ur interview,speak to the VO and let him/her know that you are versed in the course u wana study,look straight into their eyes,talk confidently like say u they lecture.And demonstrate as you are talking.Stand erect and don't relax on that slap.

effulgence: Today I left my house by 5.30am heading for the embassy,unfortunately the bus I entered broke down and the driver tried fixing it for good 30mins before the bus responded.When I got to cms I noticed I have lost my money remaining only 50 naira in my poket.I had to beg someone for tp to bonny camp and I treked from there to the embassy.Men it was not funny o....I was so angry ehn and all I rehearsed flew out from my head.

Anyway,we waited outside for so long and entered the hall around 10.30am...the woman in window 7 did my biometric and said I will be called upon for my interview.Fortunately for me she was the same person who interviewed me.

flynbird: My cousin went back to Money Gram for a refund but unfortunately they said it'll take another 1week before he could get my $200 refund back. He said he didn't have anymore $$$ on him to get it done at Western union while he waits for the refund from money gram.

I have some money i thought I could get access to on friday so I could go through the or the Coutonu options but unfortunately I couldn't.

So I talked to this friend of mine who lives in California. I explained the urgency and how much I needed the Sevis fee paid on friday. She told me not to worry that she'll help me pay through Western Union as soon as they are opened for the day. She went to 3 different Western Union locations and kept calling me at every WU office she was, but the senders form she was giving didn't look anything like the DHS sample I sent to her. And besides they said they weren't conversant with DHS Sevis fee.

Now I'll like to ask those that pay theirs from abroad how they get it done.
-Can she use just any Western Union office?
-Does the form giving to her have to look the exact way the DHS sample form looks like?
-Are there just few Western Union offices where Sevis fee can be paid abroad?

I would have asked her to get it done through Money Order but it'll take 2days to deliver and time isn't on my side. She asked me to make inquiries and let her know so she could go back on saturday and get it done with the Form she was given earlier. Or she'll try looking for more WU offices.

You need to tell that you friend to tell the western union woman that she is pay to homeland security and their account name/number she sending it to so she will ask for a payment service form or send money form i will attach it but it does might not look like the one i will attach but that is the only form you can use to send money to people or people account.

Ms Nas: From CMS, get one of those small white buses that go to VI and tell the conductor or driver that you're going to drop at the bridge after officers mess. Around that side where they take speedboats going to Takwa bay.
Cross to the other side, and you'll see a red gate. They might not allow you in if you don't have a car sha. But you'll see people around. They'll tell you how to get in on foot
