Yes but it can also reflect the following day too cos i paid for someone via western union at seme border, Benin republic on Tuesday July 2nd between Tuesday July 2nd and Wednesday July 3rd they processed it and uploaded it cos July 4th which was Thursday it had already been uploaded, remember that July 4th was their independence day which was public holiday in USA.Same thing when i paid for myself too but it was via Money Order...

I have my visa appointment slated for next Friday, 19th July, 2013 and was only able to pay my SEVIS fee yesterday through a friend in US. I hope I can print out my SEVIS fee payment receipt online before Friday. What's your advice please!

Yes it will be provided your friend send it through next day or 1-3 business day.. If it get there on Monday or Tuesday, they will process the payment that same day and upload your details the following day...
But if it is Western union they will process the payment that same day your fried pay via western union and upload it same day or the following day while the 3rd day is for you to check...

VCTROKOYE: Abeg my guy is in serious trouble. He tried to apply for visa online,but it was not going.
He called customer care of VFS, Oregun and a girl picked the call and said that someone has used his passport number. And there is nothing he can do.

This sounds strange to me but maybe he should call US embassy care line and not VFS Oregun cos US embassy dont use VFS oregon again but DHL.. You print online receipt after 3 days of payment via western union so just pay $200 and print online receipt

GboyegaD: Tuition varies per school and so also does funding and cost of living however, averagely, compared to other states, cost of living is lower. You can get a good 2 bedroom apt (all bills paid) for $720 in Denton and $600 for just rent and trash in most places.

GboyegaD: I studied in Texas and UNT to be more precised. The cost of living is relatively low compared to some other states, there is a huge number of blacks in the state and most people are friendly perhaps because it is a school environment. The weather is nice and could be extremely hot during summer. If you study hard, you sure will get good grades.

I have helped a couple of friends with the payment of the SEVIS (I know Jimtosam has done same too, because we are in the same school). However, I don't think I like the part where I have to fill the PDF form. Well if you find someone who is willing, that will be a good idea. For me, when it comes to money dealings, I don't think I like it, especially when it's not a known person. They soon start getting impatient and that part is what I cannot put up with. The other thing is that the SEVIS fee does not get updated immediately: even known friends starts getting agitated in not time.

I think you should ask them to fill the PDF form with their details on it and save it.. After that they should attach the filled PDF to your email.. All you have to do is for you to just print the filled PDF.. Sorry to hear that they cant exercise patient

babsharon: You can still correct it by mailing their office. But follow Big Francis advice in other not to worry urself.

You cant track it cos they wont give you tracking number... Just email them and they will correct it.. After that you go back online to check and print it if they have corrected.. The one you print only can also be used at the embassy too without the receipt they mail to you

Embassy don release dates oooo.. I just book my own appointment... So those who needs date should go an get their nw. just SPREAD THE MESSAGE AND NOT THE VIRUS.. LOL
