Should i start to apologize, I know no amount of apology can erase d disappointment. I really wish to continue ds story cos I'm a bit free now. But my laptop was stolen recently. Let's cee maybe I'll improvise with my phone

Sometimes i wish i were rich enough to help the poor everyday.
Sometimes i wish everyone were like my father, the world will be a better place.
Sometimes i wish a girl would walk into my life and love me unconditionally, open her heart and accept my love in return..
Sometimes i wish i could join the army and fish out Shekau myself.

Just a few years ago, i was so much in love, i did the most irrational things, condoned the most despicable insults, spent the greater of my existence thinking about her...
But What happened?
The once irrepressible feeling of love started fading away, i observed, i tried tracing the root cause, but all i found out was that maybe love never existed in the first place.
Love, just like every other emotion is a habit, if you allow it as much as an atom's space in your heart, it grows and extend it's roots, firmly carving it's own niche in ur heart and it grows.....
All humans have desires for what is beyond their reach, once it's within reach, it becomes a matter of satisfaction and fulfillment, this is the the climax, the more satisfaction we get, the more we desire, and when we don't get it, we start resenting that hitherto source of satisfaction..... Nd we start cultivating another emotion, another habit, say hatred, and then it starts to encroach the territory occupied by love and on it goes......
LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH TO SUSTAIN A RELATIONSHIP, COMPATIBILITY, LOYALTY, TOLERANCE AND PATIENCE ARE JUST AS IMPORTANT.

Case in point, me.

I like to be pampered.
No sane lady doesn't.

However, some of us (ladies) are too controlling in that regard.
We expect the man to go out of his way for us, we expect him to know just what to say to us, how to and when to.
We really don't care about him, except he cares about us.
Ideally, it shouldn't be that way.

A man thinks differently from a woman, there are those times when he just can't bring himself to pamper and be all lovey dovey.
This is why it is dangerous for ladies to base their sense of self worth on people's validation.
Let all the validation you need come from within, not without.

That way, when the pampering becomes less or totally absent, you're able to carry on without loosing confidence in your man/relationship.

To both sides of the divide, I have this to say.

A healthy relationship is about so many + factors.
One major + factor is; Compromise, healthy compromise.
