RomanceI've Loved And Lost. Here Is My Story by wasak(op): 12:11pm On Jan 18, 2016
Good afternoon dearest nairalanders, I had intended to change my moniker before creating this thread cos I'm sure many will insult me. But then I just want to share my story and all kinds of comments are welcome.
For those who are conversant with this section, I created a thread in October https://www.nairaland.com/2649542/how-handle-stubborn-girlfriend
Many of you here advised me, most of the comments I received was to the effect that I should quit the relationship, but I chose sentiments over logic, I settled with her and continued the relationship.
In December, I heard something about her from a friend and I took it up. She confessed to dating another guy, she has always referred to this guy as jus a friend cos he's her coursemate, to be honest she was really smart about it, because much as I suspected, I never had a tenable evidence against her.
For the records, we started dating in 2011, I was already in school then, in 2014 I helped her secure admission in the same school, I graduated last year, although we were on different campuses, but the distance is jus 30 naira transport fare.
Back to the story, she confessed bit by bit cos I insisted on knowing everything, we've never had sex so age says she's still a virgin, that's not my concern tho cos emotional cheating is as bad as sexual to me. It's been over three weeks now, and I'm just getting better, I lost so much weight because I was utterly heartbroken, I never knew I could be fine enough to share this here. I'm a very thoughtful person, I went back to the records of the relationship to decipher what led her into cheating, I discovered two things
1. She's a selfish individual, this is evident even in her relationship with friends and colleagues. Based on the role I've played in her life, it's only an ungrateful person that would be heartless enough to consider cheating, how much more carrying it out.
2. She's shallow, I don't know how to explain this, but I discovered she belongs to the class of girls who are incapable of thinking about consequences, the class of those who live in the present alone, those who see things from their eyes alone.
She apologized and according to her she's ready to change. For the times we were together, I gave my all unconditionally, her interest was always my paramount concern, I know I'm not perfect but I gave my best, I wish I can continue but I won't like to bore you guys. I forgave her, but I'm not willing to accept her back, although we still communicate, the hurt is fresh in my heart, especially when I think about the insane sacrifices I made, the life threatening situations i put myself just for her. I know I'll heal with time. But for now, this is my story.
Comments are welcome.

Adonis3 I quite agree with the picture u put up there. Even though I'd have preferred lil kesh wan, I never voted, I'm sure many gys didn't vote either.
But girls, I cld remember during SUG elections in our school, thr was a time ds very handsome guy contested for financial secretary, he beat d other contestants hands down simply cos almost every girl in school voted for him.
Nairaland GeneralRe: What You Won't Forget That Happened In 2015 by wasak(m): 9:45pm On Dec 31, 2015
There are many events I can't forget. Top on the list was when President Buhari went for campaign in Borno state and the venue was filled to the extent that he couldn't make it to the platform, he had to wave his supporters and turned back, such is the love and trust the people have for the man, he did not even need to tell them anything. I hope he lives up to the expectations.
Then his victory at the polls is a sign that nobody can pull another down unless with the will of God. Considering how strong the forces against his presidential ambition were, he was still able to win with an undisputed margin, after 4 trials and at the age of 72, certainly persistence is the key, I therefore made a resolution never to give up on my positive beliefs even if the whole world were against me.

I was arguin with a foool on a thread d other day, he had the shamelessness to say Igalas aren't tribalistic, initially they were fytn Yorubas whn they thought Faleke would be made d govnor, but now, they have turned to d Igbiras, organizing meaningless protests. It is not only pitiful, it is shameless and digusting, what if Audu had died in power? What would they have done? Burn down the state or what? I can't fathom how shallow some persons can be. As it is Faleke should go to court and seek Judicial interpretation, that's d way to go.
Perhaps the most absurd thing to note is that the masses who may never benefit from all these brouhaha are d ones displaying such high calibre shortsightedness.
Regrettably disgusting. *spits*

Take him to the Nigerian Army, Ikeja military cantonment, department of military police, aswear his stubbornness will be converted to obedience there, believe me, let him spend just one week, you won't believe it when he returns, my dad once tried ds for his younger bro, or in the alternative, take him to SARS division of the Nigerian Police, but I hope he's strong enough....well that's on a lighter note, but there's actually little u can do abt this guy, he is past that stage alrdy, I'm sure he mst hav been exhibiting these traits from childhood, he shld av bn corrected, cos as it stands now, its only experience that will teach him, that's not to say u shld giv up, today his sunday, write his name in a sheet of paper, wrap it with ur offering and drop it in d box.

Also ndị Igbo dominate businesses in the North, just as they dominate in SW. We are able to dominate you guys not due to the abscence of hostilities on your part, but it is in spite of it.
I'm not in Igboland for business or whatever, which business activities are u dominating in d north? U better go and sit down. U make it seem like Igbos are perfect and without any fault, u only knw how to condemn others, no one is ever good in ur eyes. Its a very bad habit, quit it.

Stop blabbing. Was ojukwu's properties in Lagos given to him after the war? Or he fought to get them back? Why are u lieing here trying to paint yolobatards what they are not.

U are educated than Ur tout family
U didn't address d point, was it d indigenes who confiscated his properties or d military govt?
I dnt have time to exchange words with an uncivil person like youM u are probably suffering from paranoia, u shld check in at d hospital soon.

U must be a yoloba agbero. So u fool didn't know lagos state confiscated Ojukwu properties in Lagos? Ojukwu recovered his properties through the famous Ojukwu vs Lagos state govt litigation. Google will help u.
Do u remember lagos ws capital of Nigeria earlier? It ws d military govt that confiscated that property. So stop bn silly. I'm probably more educated than the whole of ur generation.

Pls stop spreading such lies. We all know how hostile the rest of Nigeria were to us after the war. We were not given any handouts by anyone, in fact, your Awolowo instituted a policy that dispossesed every Igbo man of all they had in the banks during the war and they were given just 20 pounds. Don't even get me started on the indigenization policy, that saw you Yorubas, take over the enviable positions in so many multinational companies, that were previously occupied by ndị Igbo before the war. Or is it the abandoned property saga? You Yorubas did not return any of our properties, just like the Ijaws in Port Harcourt, so you ain't deceiving no one with your lies.
@pazienza will probably do a better job at exposing your lies than me, because I do not have the patience to deal with you revisionists.
Just know that everything ndị Igbo have achieved after the war, is as a result of our dogged nature and unmatched resilient spirit.
Which properties? If yorubas didn't return ur properties, how come ppl like Ojukwu still have properties in lagos? How come there are so much Igbos in lagos till date? Tell me, if we were truly hostile, how come is it that you guys can't stop trooping into Yorubaland? The only name u mentioned here is Awolowo, how does his actions represent that of Millions of Yorubas? Y dnt u stop bn myopic and 'unprofitingly' hateful?

I sometimes want to refrain myself from saying what I know.
Audu was very fetish and as a governor he had only a chair in is office. The deputy sat on ground even the late Atta Igala sat on the floor in any visit to Audu.
When Audu was defeated by Ibro in 2003 he couldn't use the governors office for 6 months because of the various charms and fettish objects in the government house. There were occasions where big snakes were would coiled in the governors office only to dissappear when they raised alarm.
My point is no mere mortal could have singlehandedly killed Audu.
Why would APC cheiftains want him dead? To inherit 10 months of salary areas. The whole allocation of Kogi isn't more than the IGR of Balogun and Idumota market put together.
Like seriously? Can u imagine, by all standards the Igalas r inferior to Yorubas, I dnt want to go tribal, but if the need be, I ll. Nothing pains me more than the fact that d poor ones among them will join in this show of shame, notwithstanding that most of them wallow and will continue to wallow in poverty, the fact that an Igala man bcoms govnor will not make their lot any better than chestbeating. They re in constant enmity wit the Ebiras, I've never hrd of a time d Okun ppl had a clash with them.

But I constantly read of Yorubas accusing accusing whole Igbo or Ijaw tribe of many things? Lol! Karma is a bitch!!
And Igbos do not accuse Yorubas of anything? Yoruba land ws d only safe haven for igbos during the civil war and the period immediately preceding it, but d ones who knw notn abt history would come and say rubbish abt Yorubas, and d funny thing is most of them stay in Yorubaland. So stop talkn abt Karma here, plus can u kindly tell me what Yorubas accuse Ijaw of?

Some idiots even went ahead to say he had a dinner with APC cheiftains, y didn't they wait for d autopsy bfor burying him? Or mention d name of d APC chieftain. What rubbish?
