God help us! It is not God that will destroy mankind. We will destroy ourselves and it is already happening. |
royalfly:Keep justifying nonsense. You remember you are African when its convenient, right? The early culture you mentioned, were the men not the sole provider? If he was providing enough to cater for his family, would she have run away? |
You can use the salary to marry 2 wives. |
royalfly:You obviously don't know what you are talking about. I have followed the story and know he wasn't smart enough to marry a good wife. Why must his kids pay for his bad choices? Who asked him to marry a bad wife in the first place? So, because his ex wife is bad, he should neglect the kids welfare, right? Have you ever heard of 'spousal support'? No court gives a damn whether your ex wife is bad or wanted to kill you. As long as you have kids together, then you must put your ego aside and support them. That is the price a man has to pay for choosing a wrong partner. It is only in Nigeria that dumb men punish their kids for mistakes made by their ex wives. |
Fuckyoumod:Yaba left escapee! Get off my mention. |
royalfly:No wonder. |
The basic salary is nothing to write home about but a commissioned officer lives a larger than life lifestyle. I suppose their allowances are juicy or they are good at stealing public funds. |
Jesus Christ was finer, so no big deal. |
Why are some covered and others are not? |
Lovely family! Their connection is admirable. |
You love your boys so much, but the girl doesn't matter, right? The money you used to rent an apartment for your mom could have been utilized in renting a decent accommodation for your ex wife and kids. If you had done that, there is no way she would deny you access to your kid if you continue to be a responsible dad. As it is, you are doing more harm to the triplets by separating them. Do you want them to grow up and begin to see each other as strangers? You guys should sit down and resolve your issues for the kids sake. Life is simple, but people just love to complicate things with their over bloated ego. |
Too bad! Something similar happened to someone who was very close to me. I won't be surprised if he was posted to replace another staff and he was taken down spiritually. There are too many spiritual battles in the work place and only the strongest survives. |
OP, what is the financial capacity of your husband? Isn't he the head of family and expected to provide the basic needs for you and your kid? If he actually walked away knowing full well you had nothing to fall back on, then you don't have a husband. That dude is tired of the marriage and is using your joblessness as an excuse. You mentioned that you studied Chemical Engineering. How have you not been able to utilize what you studied in school? There are so many prospects for people like you, did you explore any? I implore you to get your acts together and go search for a viable means of income. Then divorce the thing you call husband. Stooping so low to call him shows how dependent you are on him. It is making him feel important. Any man that doesn't prioritize the welfare of his family is a dog and you are better off without him. |
dangotesmummy:The said sons don't have fathers? |
finallybusy:Lol. This is the family section of Nairaland and we need to keep it active with either fiction or reality. |
Legalcriminal:I am trying hard to understand what the problem is. Are you saying that you cannot send out the money from your wallet? I have been using blockchain for ages and each time I tried to verify, my documents were always declined. Regardless, I can still receive coins in my wallet and also send out whenever I choose to. Why not get an external wallet and 'send' the btc to that wallet? I think you are being denied because you are using the 'withdrawal' option. Blockchain has made verification hard for people because they don't want many people to enjoy the benefits that comes with a verified account. |
uuzba:Every product has a life span and a market for it. Shoes; no matter how expensive don't even have a long life span. And unless you don't have a need to wear shoes often, you must make a yearly or regular purchase. So, your analogy doesn't hold water. A manufacter should have a product for different markets as not every Nigerian are obsessed with inferior goods. China, US and other European countries produce for different markets. Why should 'Aba made' be different? |
Ulunne777:Your emphasis on 'quality' is ambiguous. How is quality determined when most of the products are produced with inferior 'leather materials'? How is quality determined when you pay for a product according to your bargaining power? And no, China doesn't have a different market for Africans. What they have are different products (which are of various quality) which people all over the continent are expected to pay according to its affordability. |
Ozommadu:Most Nigerians are also willing to pay extra if it's durable. They can produce for different classes of Nigerians who will pay according to what they can afford. |
We call it 'Ibo made'. They look flashy but not durable. If they get high quality materials and handle the production process with great diligence, the end products will look better. |
This is something else. Could it be that her lack of motivation is as a result of her condition? Can you recall how she behaved before your dad passed on? In addition, you could also get some background information from her siblings to ascertain whether she has always been that way as a kid or her behavior could be due to her condition. Regardless, I want you to know that there are people like your mom in our lives. They are untidy, indisciplined, manipulative, unambitious and lazy. Unfortunately, there is little you can do about it because they will NEVER change. The most you can do is hire another maid for her. If that one leaves, hire another, and another. Also if you can, get her a psychologist as this will do her good. You should also stand your ground and reprimand her whenever you feel drained. Let her know her behavior is taking a toll on you and affecting your mental health. Finally, I want to commend you for being a good son. You are doing what most daughters are expected to do. I really admire your tenacity. Keep it up! |
You sound like a weak man. I also feel you are not saying the whole truth. |
You are an excellent writer and will fare better as a writer than as a security guard. Have you ever considered writing as a great prospect? |
DanielPat01:The amount is quite small, but you can go for one of those coins whose value falls within that range. Depending on the platform you have the coins stored, you can just swap it for your desired coin and let it sit there. If you intend to send it out, you will be charged for it and lose some if it. You can consider binance or blockchain if you are bent on sending it out. |
Lol. This is the dumbest act I have ever come across in recent times! He went online, dug out Davido's account number and decided to risk his 500K just to be stupid. I hope Davido ignores him and let him lose that money. |
duduade:The same assets that have been losing value or which one? If you guys are getting married to good women, then why are married men complaining of cracks in their marriages? Could it be that the married men are actually the problem and not their wives? |
Continue to pepper Israel. He deserves it. |
Short men left the thread. |
He said without a broken bone and not without a scratch. |
Intergrated:This comment made me laugh. Advice him to sell one of his skills and use the money to buy sense. |
