7 WAYS TO SUCCEED WITH PENNY STOCKS PICK

Everybody has their own strategy when it comes to investing. For those of you who are just starting, some of my ideas may be useful for you, and for those of you who already have their own strategy, this could be equally as useful. I'll go over 7 points that here that somewhat simplify making money investing in penny stocks, but remember, there is no sure fire way, and these are just my opinions, and strategies that have worked for me.


, Let's get started!


1) I usually try to find companies that are trading in industries that are "hot" at the time, For example in the late 90's, I spent a good portion of time looking at a variety of different .com companies and did quite well, Right now, my focus is quite a bit broader, but I look a lot at companies that are "green" meaning environmentally friendly, alternative energy, etc.

2) This applies to those of you that have no idea on how to find companies to look at in the first place, Other ways to find companies that may be of interest to you include: Watching the news, keeping an “ear” to the street, I always have a newspaper near by with the business section open. Goto places like CNN.com, Forbes.com, watch the bulletin boards at places like investorshub, ragingbull, and yahoo as they sometimes have in-depth discussions about TONS of different companies that may be of interest to you.

3) Financials, financials, financials, Make sure you look at a companies financials. Remember, we are dabbling in the penny stock region, and most of them DO NOT have positive revenues, but what I generally look for is positive growth, so make sure you look at the last 4 quarters of financials for the company, and if there is positive growth that is generally a good sign that the company is headed in the right direction. We are trying to find companies here that we feel may graduate to a nationally recognized exchange one day and this is no east feat!

4) Look at the trading history for the company, I generally look at a one year chart to see how it has been trading, What I look for is a constant stream of volume, not speratic trading where one day it will trade 500,000 shares the nest day it will trade 6,000 shares and some days not at all, Stocks that trade like that are generally going in and out of promotion and only trade when some sort of promotion is going on, We want to be able to get out of our position whenever we want. Don't get me wrong, promotion isn't always a bad thing, it really just depends on what the motive is behind doing a promotion.

5) Call the company! Any real company will be glad to put you on with the CEO of the company. After all, you are buying a portion of their company; in my opinion, it's up to them to answer any and all questions you may have about the company in order for you to feel comfortable making an investment in their company.

6) BEWARE SPAM! If you receive an Email, Fax, or Direct mail piece from some place that you do not know, or did not subscribe to, DELETE it and/or throw it away. These kind of illegal promotions are ALWAYS crap, Just a bunch of people with a lot of stock who want to sell it to you at an inflated price. The well used term for this is "Pump and Dump" and 99.9% of the time the information you receive is not verifiable in any way shape or form.

7) Never invest more than you can AFFORD to lose! Start small, TOO MANY people think that they are going to make tons upon tons of money and while this is very possible, it is also VERY POSSIBLE to lose tons and tons of money as well. A good rule of thumb that I like to use is to put a stop lose on my trades in case it goes down, this limits my lose. If the stock rises in value, I generally sell in intervals on the way up especially in a "day trade" scenario. Then on your next trade you have your profits to play with and you take your initial investment out of the equation.

There are many techniques when it comes to investing, these are just a few that I feel can help, especially for the new trader.

Thanks everyone. just to correct a wrong impression i might have given. i'm not 25 and he's not 52. that was just an example. but there's a 15-year gap in our ages, which sounds formidable. but when we're together it just fades away. i've met guys who were 2, 5, and even 10 years older, and the age thing was always there, either immaturity or over-maturity, lol. anyways thanks. at least i know some people would understand.

25-year old graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Alfred Adebayo, said he planned to commit suicide after he was defrauded by a forex trader, Eseka Chukwutem Gospel, popularly known as ECG.

Speaking to Newsmen, Adebayo said he lost over N100 million to ECG.


According to the Microbiology graduate, he was introduced to the forex trader by a friend on WhatsApp.

He said, “I actually got introduced to Gospel around March, I joined his group through someone I know on WhatsApp. So, when I joined the group, this guy used to give us 40 per cent of our investment every week. So, I started investing in it; you invest in a group, he doesn’t have a website or nothing.

It’s a WhatsApp group, he drops the account number to invest in, so you send money to the account. You send the payment receipt and he would confirm. Then the following week, you get 40 per cent interest on your capital.

“There was a day I asked him what he does with the money and he told me he trades in forex. I asked him how sustainable and how everything was because we actually spoke at length. He told me not to worry and that he knew how he was doing those things. Then I told him I wanted to start collecting money from people to invest and give them a lower interest.

“Around May, he said he was going to register the company and he started the process. I think he got registered by June. That same June, he came up with a story that his bank account had been frozen, and that he couldn’t make payment. That should be around June 17; let’s just say the third week in June. That was when he came up with the story and since then, we haven’t heard anything about him.

He was arrested here in Akure and taken to Abuja. For me, I lost over N100 million and for those affected, the amount of money we lost runs into billions of naira. I spoke with a lady that made the police transfer him to Abuja and she told me Gospel doesn’t trade in forex but actually runs a Ponzi scheme.

“It’s actually crazy; I actually thought about suicide when this thing happened at first. I actually thought about suicide. Where would I get money from to pay people back? My brother has really supported me emotionally and financially, also my friends have been helpful. Immediately, I told them I wanted to kill myself, they advised me against it.”

A 300-level student of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Gbenga Favour Olaoye-Akanbi, committed suicide on December 20 after he was also allegedly defrauded of over N300 million by ECG.

Trouble reportedly started for the 19-year-old student when the returns from the N300 million refused to come at the expected time.

Those who invested with the deceased were said to have circulated his pictures on different social media platforms, tagging him a ‘thief, fraudster and scammer.’

This guy in this picture called Jasper is a scammer. I have been paying to his Opay account and reinvesting my capital until he scammed us of our money. ‘Na God go judge am’ (God will judge him. He was proudly telling us that he had backup funds that was enough to pay everyone and he later told us that he had changed the money into crypto currencies. He has been given us stupid excuses since June,” one of the posts read.

He did not lose 100 million trading Forex. He lost to a Ponzi Scheme using FOREX to camouflage.

Only a greedy person will expect a 40% ROI in week. That's outrageous. As a Forex trader, I rejoice any week I make 7% -10% of my trading capital

The guy who lost to ECG is also greedy and a schemer. Busy collecting money from people claiming to be a forex trader, whereas he was
investing in someone else's shady business.

People like this go about Abusing the word FOREX. That's why a lot of people have bad blood when it comes to anything Forex. Some see it as a gamble, while some see it as Ponzi. With 1 Million Naira trading Capital, adequate knowledge of how the market works and a proper risk management strategy, you shouldn't lose a capital of that kind not to talk of 100 Million.

If you've lost to Forex before, I challenge you to post your full forex story (from beginner to the point you crashed), if possible with pictures of your trading terminal and the lot sizes you used and I will tell you the mistakes you made and why you crashed. It all begins with understanding how men fall in love versus how women fall in love.

HOW MEN AND WOMEN FALL IN LOVE.
When a man starts dating a new woman, usually he's in conflict with his friends and he hates the advice they give him. Most of the times they're disapproving of his actions because most of the times he's acting dumb doing too much too soon for too little.

On the other hand, when a woman starts dating a new man, usually she's in harmony with her friends. They're all of one mind. The woman agrees with them, welcomes their advice and follows it.

Why do men and women start out so differently?

A man is roughly 80% logical and 20% emotional. A woman is about 80% emotional and 20% logical.

When a man is attracted to a woman and approaches her, he's in a rare EMOTIONAL STATE. His 20%. He's in his feelings and even his friends can't reason with him because he'll do anything, say anything and give anything to have her. He's thinking with his heart. That is why emotional him stays in conflict with his logical friends.

On the other hand, although women are emotional by default, the woman, when she's first approached by a man, he'll find her in a LOGICAL STATE (her 20%). Because at that point he's a nobody to her. She doesn't love him. She doesn't hate him. She's simply indifferent. AKA Logical. And because her friends are logical as her concerning her suitor, there's harmony in the girls camp.

Unlike in the guys camp.

And so the woman, with a cold pragmatic eye and reasoning logically, she closely scrutinizes her suitor's credentials, his financial state, his character and his friends. She's as logical and as calculating as a man considering a business deal.

THE GREAT SWITCH.
Now, as time goes and things progress, the man and the woman start to switch places...

Because the woman has sufficiently studied her new man, shared sensitive information, bonded with him through shared experiences like going on dates and trips, or even slept with him, she stops being indifferent (logical) and gradually gets into her feelings. Now what her friends and family have to say about the guy starts to clash with what she has to say. And she begins standing up for him when they badmouth him.

She's finally emotional and can no longer be reasoned with. This state she's in now, the man started out in.

Meanwhile, the man, because he has got what he wanted (sex), cooling his head and getting him back to his senses, the emotions that have controlled him all this time evaporate and he goes back to his old logical self. Now he's the one sober minded and thinking straight. This is when he'll start acting funny and ghost the woman.

This state he's in now, the woman started out in.

The man and the woman have switched places.

She who started out indifferent, is now in her feelings. And he who started out in his feelings is now indifferent.

THE GAME GETS COLDER AND COLDER.

Chief Executive Elon Musk announced the firm would build batteries that store solar energy and serve as a back-up system for consumers during blackouts.

Tesla plans to start shipping the units to installers in the US by this summer.

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery unit would be built using the same batteries Tesla produces for its electric vehicles, analysts said.

To help comparisons, Tesla provided estimates of how much energy is used by different devices in the home. A flat-screen TV uses about 0.1kWh, a tumble dryer 3.3kWh and a laptop 0.05kWh.

Energy comparison firm USwitch estimates that a small family in a three-bedroom house in the UK uses about 3,200kWhs of electricity a year.
