Thanks Leuelliot, I'll try that. These speeds you display, are they from Nigeria or outside? |
Hi Puskin, my IDM is now giving a message about expiring in few days now. How am I supposed to use the patch? My Orbit is still available for me to use for free |
Hi Sfactor, please send me the books. Many thanks, netcruise@live.com |
Bawomolo, are you related to Adedayo A. who attended same primary school as yours truly: Surulere Baptist, left for Secondary school after Primary 4, was among top of the class? |
Where everybody dey? |
Zoom acted funny for most part of this morning, unable to browse inspite of connecting. Had to try Multilinks after a very long time. Is MTN improving their Data service? |
Hi Honeric, I hope your IDM is now working? I am enjoying mine |
Reasons for facial marks: some say they are for identification,so that if you get lost, they can know where you are from especially if you are deaf and dumb and cannot communicate.Others say if you are seen during war time, then you can be identified and spared friendly fire, but what happens if the enemy catches you, no amount of begging or speaking his language will save you. Again who says your enemy has to get close to you to look at your face before aiming a bull's eye on you. Me, I go fire any moving thing in sight before going to check your face whether you be enemy or friend. Some still give facial marks on both sides of the face esp. in SW Nigeria when a child has convulsion. This is ridiculous and dangerous, the child can be infected with tetanus during this process, and convulsion in a child under 5 is most likely because of a high fever the child has and not because of evil spirits. In some parts of Igboland, facial marks are still given to children e.g in Ngwaland, but I don't know the reason for this. Anyone in this day and age should be able to introduce him/herself and to describe his/her place of origin. There are many tribes in the North who still design the faces of their people with very unpleasant marks, these people are still largely uncivilised and require exposure to modern realities. Ofcourse, besides facial marks, some still give marks and tatoos on other parts of the body |
Thanks Puskin,it is working |
Please tell me how you did it Mike. I am desperately in need of a similar solution. Thank you, 08039626075, netcruise@live.com |
Abeg puskin remember me, netcruise@live.com. Thank you |
Check out our own silicon valley at Ikeja |
Hi Hayprof, where you dey? It's been a long time we saw you on the forum, What's happening? |
Hi Jmoore, it appears that the owners and moderators of Nairaland have decided to stop encouraging the kind of practice you are trying to push forward. It is illegal to do the kind of thing you are sponsoring. How do we encourage the networks to improve if we at the same time sabotage their efforts. It is my hope that very soon we will have 8-10 MB/sec speeds as is available in the developed world. I only wonder why many of them still appear daily on this forum |
Why not give us more detail on price etc, Its sold for N8500 now by GLO, so what price are you selling your own? |
Hi Victor, how tollgate now? We never see the speeds yet, abi na 1X you dey get wey you no fit display? |
Don't call anyone,go to Piriform website and download Recuva. This is the name of the software. However, you may not be able to recover all your lost data. |
OH noooooo!!!!!!! I thought we will now be spared all that display from you Victor (take this, and this , and tis etc). You too like to dey harass us with your speeds. |
Location in your profile says Lagos ![]() . You definitely heard wrong, depends on who you are listening to. I'm sure you will get more than enough correct info on Nairaland |
Now when he don move to tollgate, them go give am im eye back ![]() |
@airomon Well I hope you get chemistry at Allen, if history is not your type of subject. But really the street does not make the service |
Be realistic, MTN modem is N8500, Glo modem is N8500. At least MTN is better. If you ask me it may be difficult selling above N15G. Someone I know is even offering it for N13G with 24 hour subscription. Modem prices have crashed. Best of luck |
The website is experiencing some down time. I cannot open it too with Zoom and even with MTN. Do you understand now? |
What is the fuss about moving office from Toyin to Allen? Does it change anything really? |
You may not find a suitable interest, thus consider selling at least to recover your cost |
I totally agree with poster because I suffer this often. Why is there a time limit on these bundles, it's simply not fair. If you pay for 50MB, then you should be allowed to enjoy your 50MB, no matter how long it takes you to use this. Also the 3G monthly limit is absolute crap, how was this determined. An average regular user of the internet would exceed this amount in a short while. Comm'on MTN, instead of all this giving away of money why not listen to your DATA customers and adjust your pricing appropriately? |
What exactly are you asking? |
More info needed: are they PCI Cards or USB modems, if you were to sell, what will be your asking price, any active subscription on them etc |
Will like to help. Which part of Lagos are you at? Maybe easier to walk into a Multilink shop or their H/Q and get all the info you need. Again what data device are you going to be using: table phone or their USB modem? They have info flyers which have all the details you need. On the average using a table phone you will be spending about N600 per day (I chose the talk and talk package which gives me free weekend calls on net). The EVDO packages are different, please find out |
Victor your reputation preceeds you. Moving from Mushin to toll gate, I hope you will still be in EVDO, and even 1X sef you may be struggling. You fit try Thuraya ![]() |
Dual e be like say you dey online, what is happening, why have the three decent posts I made just now been deleted? Someone please say something |
