Lol I don't blame you though, the anonymity of the Internet allows wanna-bes like yourself flourish and pose as what they are not. I'm not a doctor, I'm a _cock renter, get it right. Oh... So, because I'm a medic, I have to throw medical stuff around on NL. And because my chats aren't about medicine, I have to be an Internet doctor. Well, I hear you. |

rentAcock: Silly goose, and i'm supposed to give a full medication regimen online or what? The point was to show that peptic ulcer disease is not a life threatening condition as he is making it out to be. You just validated my initial point by stating info you copied online, his condition can be treated with meds and PPIs are the gold standard. Oga, I'm a medical doctor, so stop jumping into silly conclusions. PPIs are gold standard? Interesting! You just confirmed what someone stated about you earlier: If you studied Medicine, you've certainly not been practising! We know your type. Now you can stay off mention! |

rentAcock: I meant surgery for the gall stones, he can have them removed laparoscopically or for more advanced gall stones, he can have a cholecystectomy altogether. For the peptic ulcer he can certainly takes pills, PPIs will do just fine unless of course its at an advanced stage with perforations like you said. Nonetheless, its not a life threatening condition for him to blow out of proportion like this. I'm still happy for his life. Stop peddling crap. PPIs alone don't treat peptic ulcer. The minimum drug combination is the triple therapy, which includes a PPI and 2 different antibiotics (1 organism-specific + 1 broad-spectrum). In worse cases, additional drugs are needed. PPIs only help to reduce acid secretion. They don't address the underlying cause of the ulcer. |

President cannot do everything oh he is only one man. That's no excuse for any government. That's where there are ministers and ministries in charge of every facility in the country. |

donwhit: The international cancer center in Abuja is not functioning. The one along musa yaradua way That's the problem when such facilities are created as standalone centres. They get abandoned by the government and even the people. But this will be well utilized because it's incorporated into a full-fledged tertiary health institution (LUTH), which is already being catered for by the government. But maintenance becomes another cause for concern. |

Encrypted: I'm fed-up of spending so much money on a shitty writer i've been managing for almost 2 years now. We've probably done up to 1m worth of deals during this time yet i'm not satisfied with his service.
I pay really good (#2.7 for 1,000 words) yet the articles i get are upsetting , and i have to spend a good amount of time editing to make them "Readable". If i have to spend time editing to make it worth reading , then it defeats my aim of content outsourcing.
I'm tired. I want to try someone new next year.
Before i go and spend heavy $$ on American writers , i want to give our Nigerian counterparts one more chance.
I am looking for a Nigerian writer that really knows how to write. My articles are mostly "best Bleep " product reviews articles (e.g https://10beasts.com/best-wireless-chargers/) , so you should know how to research and write copy that sells without sounding like an as*******e.
If you think you're good enough , send me an e-mail : kelvin.ogwu25@gmail.com I totally understand your pains, bro. I had the same experience while managing my Amazon niche sites. After getting loads of shit from Nigerian writers, I had to write the stuffs myself. And when I observed that the sites were practically "suffering" from neglect due to my busy schedule, I sold them off on Empire Flippers last month. Now, I'm left with informational sites targeted at Nigerians. Of course, those ones don't require world-class writers. I can write for you, but can you pay N10 per word? That's the rate that can compel me to come out of "retirement". |

Silvermoney: If your English is above average, and you have very good writing skills, with an understanding of what it means to effectively integrate focus key words/key phrases within articles for SEO purposes, then I might consider you. I'm talking about very long term engagement, with loads and loads of articles to be written, so you should know that there's no room for mediocrity. When do you intend to start? I have a fine writer you can work with |
Webmasters › Re: How Would You Invest N1m On A Nigeria Focused Blog? by webincomeplus(m): 1:09pm On Dec 05, 2018 |
Silvermoney: Thanks big boss. The content strategy and promotion strategy are often tricky.
Okay let's say you want to spend 500k on content. How many high quality articles can this amount deliver over the course of one year, and most importantly, how do you hire and manage writers who can deliver everything right (from topic ideation, to seo writing, to infusing your affiliate links within articles, to finding and using the right featured images, etc). I feel most of these freelance writers are very problematic, having worked with a few of them. One ends up editing, re-editing, looking for another featured image, etc. What's the best and most sustainable approach to this? With N500,000, I can look at 500,000 words of good content. Since we are talking about a Nigerian audience here, you don't have to been keen about getting world-class quality. At N1/word, you should be able to get good content that should serve its purpose perfectly. The toughest part is getting a good writer. But if you can take your time to sift through loads of applications, you'd get a few good ones that you can work with. But please, don't make the mistake of expecting them to come up with topics or doing all those other things you mentioned. Most freelance writers are just what they are: Writers! If you expect them to also handle publishing, embedding of affiliate links, on-page SEO, etc, you'll get yourself badly burned in the end. Since you're planning to start. This isn't the time to sit back like a boss while others ruin your site gradually. You should be the one to handle publishing, link insertion, and SEO on your own. No one can do it as you would want it to be done. Let your writers write and send to you, while you do the publishing. Better yet, hire an editor to handle the publishing aspect plus link insertion and on-page SEO. But that would eat deep into your budget. It's not too much of work, so I think you should do it yourself for now. Most people get messed up by Nigerian writers because they try to use them for roles they're just not cut out for. |

VeeVeeMyLuv: But some of these cancers are chronic, causing gradual irreversible havoc (tissue & cell destruction) over a prolonged period of time I agree with you. But a cancer that is already "active" enough to send cough as a symptom will never wait for 4 good years without following it up with other worse related symptoms, which would vary depending on the organs affected. |
Health › Re: Help!!! Coughing For Up To Four Years Now by webincomeplus(m): 11:29am On Dec 05, 2018 |
VeeVeeMyLuv: Cancer Most naija hospital cannot diagnose cancer, that is why the test is coming out negative Would you just shut up? Ah, just like that? No cancer that will present with cough can give you the luxury of up to 4 years. And if it does, by now it should have been accompanied by terrifying symptoms like bloody sputum, hoarseness, or difficulty in swallowing. @OP, your best bet is to see a consultant respiratory physician in any of the reputable teaching hospitals in the country. |

Silvermoney: Let's say you' have N1m to invest strictly on a Nigeria focused blog (online publishing/authority site kind of business so to say), what would you do with it? How would you invest it? What strategies would you use and how much in monthly earnings would be feasible if managed right, within one year of starting the website?
Cc: webincomeplus Cc: kelvinnaira After deciding on a lucrative/promising niche, I'd come up with a nice content strategy that I'll stick with for the next one year. I'll also outline my promotional strategies for the next one year. I would recommend 400k-500k for content, 250k-300k for promotion. And the rest would be kept for other necessary expenses. With that I should have reached the N200k/month mark at least by the end of the first year. The analysis above is for someone at the beginner or intermediate level. I can get the same results without spending that much. |

Benz4pimp: The OP is stupid,he feels every one is gullible like him.Since Nigeria returned to democracy in 1999, Oyo has had a new leader, every four years. Dr Lam Adesina won the first election that year, but he was replaced four years later by Rashidi Ladoja. Although Ladoja had political troubles which led to a temporary impeachment (that lasted for almost a year before he was reinstated), it was clear he was not going to win a second term as the Ibadan people could not ‘serve a leader’ twice. Ladoja’s successor, Alao Akala also lasted one term. Not until they elected Ajimobi!!! You're the stupid one here. What the OP wrote is "beaten to a second term ticket". That is, denied the chance to represent their parties the second time, not defeated in the elections by the opposition. Both Adesina and Akala got their parties' second term tickets (that is, approval to contest again) but were defeated by the opposition. That approval to recontest is what Ambode just lost. |
