Mr man most times, nothing caused the hold-up.
You will be standing in a place and wondering what the hell is the cause of this queue
Of course, you can wonder anything from wherever you are. But the truth is, every traffic jam has a cause. Or is it possible for drivers at the forefront to just park their cars or move at snail speed, just because they want to cause a jam? Think about it.

dmltoyin:
If you pass through oshodi oke everyday from gbagada, you will probably understand
Understand that traffic jams in that area occur without any cause, right? No over-congestion of vehicles, no accidents, no rain-made potholes, no delays due to crossovers, and no other causes. Just that drivers decide to park or move at annoyingly slow speeds, right? Continue!
TravelRe: 20 Things You Observe While Commuting In Lagos by webincomeplus(m): 6:54am On Apr 09, 2018
Point 16 is false. Saying "nothing caused a traffic jam" is wrong. You only thought nothing caused it because the cause has been cleared, making it possible for you to proceed in the first place. If the cause of a traffic jam wasn't cleared, then you'd still be stuck within it.

So, I don't know what you expect to see after a fallen trailer (for example) has been pulled away. Or are you saying the drivers at the front in a traffic jam all decided to park in the middle of the road just because they have nothing else to do with their time?

In summary, every traffic jam has a cause, but the cause, after its clearance, is usually not seen by drivers who were previously stuck within the jam.

Calm down Mr man. Your blood too dey hot for early morning now. I just booked the space while I modified the comments as it is a long story. Go and read again.
Your comment was unnecessary, too. I deleted my post immediately after I saw that you've edited yours to add the details. You shouldn't have gone ahead to quote just a dot, when it's obvious that it was used to replace my earlier comment.

WebmastersRe: Is It Advisable To Use Google Adsense Android App?? by webincomeplus(m): 7:30am On Apr 05, 2018
Sanchez01:
Nothing special about it since one would need to visiti the Adsense link to view your earnings. Same way you would need to run the app to monitor your earnings.

I'd choose the typical website link over the app, largely owing to the many functionalities on the former. Another thing to consider is your lab and the many expirements available on the website which gives a more comprehensive analysis.

The app is majorly to monitor your earnings on the go but it would only serve Bloggers blog users more than their Wordpress counterpart. Creating new ads units and copying same via the app is quite troublesome. And God help you if you need to parse the unit code (for Google Bloggers)
You don't need to run the app to monitor your earnings. Once you have it as a widget, it automatically refreshes itself after every 15 minutes (default). You can change this refresh frequency in the settings.

As for your statement that it serves Blogger blogs more than WordPress, I disagree with that.
WebmastersRe: Is It Advisable To Use Google Adsense Android App?? by webincomeplus(m): 7:21am On Apr 05, 2018
As smartbingari rightly said, there's nothing wrong with using it. In fact, it makes it very easy to monitor your earnings on the go, since you can display it as a widget.

However, don't ever make the mistake of adding more than one Adsense account to the app. Even though the app allows you to do this easily, owning multiple accounts is against Adsense TOS, and adding them to the app is a direct way of telling Google that you're breaking that rule.

It is called politics, and if you try to reduce the waste by appointing too few but manageable workers/appointees, you might find yourself out of a job before the next election.

And yes, it is not right. But if we were to try to pass a law to end political appointments, who do you think it would go through....yes the same come and eat politicans.
Hmmm. Thought-filled words you put up there.

Nairalanddist:
smiley Media and yeye hype. When Ibrahimovic scored a biycle kick from 42 yards from an impossible angle against England the hype was not as this. Madrid and ronaldo fans acting like Ronaldo just invented bicycle kick yesterday. Something that has been scored several times in football is now spectacular just because its from Ronaldo. Had Mohammed salah scored such goal, the hype won't reach this level. Fvcktards
Don't mind Nigerians. Similar goals and even better ones were featured in the video spactacus put up above. The hype was highly unnecessary. Some Ronaldo fans are basking in euphoria as if they've never seen such a goal in their lives.

While you're still trying to be persuasive, I put it to you that the pictures up there are of two different persons.

You have ignored the points I outlined i.e length of neck, facial frame & your argument about the presence of lumpy scar on the neck of 2nd pic isn't compelling coz you have admitted that there's no sign of it in the first pic. The scar on the neck is too big to ignore in this discourse.grin

To mention that the first pic was taken immediately after the incident would be untrue coz the immediate action after a fire incident would be immediate first aid/treatment & not taking pictures. What you see in the first pic depicts the record of progress after a course of treatment. Those fresh looking wounds are results of response to treatment & mind you, the outlook is the result of damage to the skin pigments.

About the nose, different people can have almost the same features.

Guy, give me a more compelling argument, prove your position beyond reasonable doubt. cool
Now that the lady herself has spoken, I hope you can now sit down in peace.

This is very true. Im the one up there and my transformation still is a surprise to people. The scars developed when i started healing, it couldnt be controlled cos of the area of development being the neck.

HealthRe: Check Out This Before And After Makeup Transformation Of A Burn Survivor by webincomeplus(m): 7:40am On Mar 27, 2018
omooba969:
You tried with your argument, quite persuasive but the two pictures don't seem to portray the same facial frame. The first pic appears to be more oval in shape than the slightly long(model-like)shape of the 2nd pic. One can argue that the first pic is that of a swollen face, that is, the immediate aftermath of the accident but it doesn't negate the evidence staring us in the face.

The length of both necks differ IMO even as the angle from which I see the first pic doesn't do justice to my argument. The lumpy scar on the neck of 2nd pic is another note of concern. It could develop at any stage of recovery but there's no sign of it on the first pic. Maybe another copy of the first pic would help my argument coz we have two different copies of the 2nd pic but not in the case of the first.

Well, let me rest here. cool
When a face or any other part of the body burns, it swells. In medical parlance, it's called inflammation. That's why her face looks more rounded in the first picture.

After treatment, the inflammed tissues become normal. I know because I've seen many similar cases here in LUTH.

As for the lumpy scar, there's no sign of it in the first pic because the pic was taken immediately after the incident. And as you can see, there were fresh burn scars on the neck as well.

Why did you ignore the shape of the nose and the facial outline? I guess it's because you're trying hard to disbelieve the transformation. If you see before and after pics of some burn patients, you'll be shocked.

I just have a little problem with the both pictures. Why am I not seeing the huge scar on her neck in the make up pictures, on the neck in the first image. Somebody help me, cos I am confused.
And both persons are of different weight and size.
I feel these are two different persons.
They are not different persons. The first picture was obviously taken when she just had the burn accident. The second picture was taken much later.

The extensive scars on her neck are called hypertrophic scars, and they are a late complication of burn wounds. That is, they develop later after the wounds have healed up. So, you won't see them when the wounds are still fresh.

These are not generic English words. They are brand names, just like names of individuals, and variations based on accent aren't accomodated.

It's like excusing someone who pronounces Trump's name as "TRUE-MP", using the point that accents differ.
PoliticsRe: Is Yoruba Now The Official Language Of Nigeria? by webincomeplus(m): 1:59pm On Mar 11, 2018
chumakk:
What other state have put this kind of law that intends to isolate others from their schools?
It doesn't have to be about schools. In some states, someone from another tribe cannot reach some advanced levels in their civil service. In some state-owned universities non-indigenes are made to pay as much as double of what indigenes pay, and are required to score significantly higher than indigenes in order to gain admissions. In some states, people from other tribes are not allowed to run for political posts or get political appointments. So, favoritism based on tribe, language, or origin isn't new in this country.

So, nobody should crucify Lagos for this, which is even subtle compared to some other little-known rules in other states. And interestingly, there is an Igbo lawmaker in Lagos, and there is another Igbo special adviser to the governor. How many Igbo states have allowed/ can allow a Yoruba or Hause lawmaker or special adviser?

I'm not a Lagosian, and I'm not totally in support of this new criterion. But the truth is, all states, tribes and religions in this country flex their political muscles against others in different ways. So, no one is truly innocent.
PoliticsRe: Is Yoruba Now The Official Language Of Nigeria? by webincomeplus(m): 1:22pm On Mar 11, 2018
chumakk:
No, the right question is ; How many tribes are in Lagos state compared to states?
Every state in Nigeria has varying proportions of Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba and other tribes. But that doesn't rule out the fact that the state belongs to only one particular tribe.

In the case of Lagos, it's a Yoruba state. Take it or leave it. And the state government is free to enact any law in the interest of its native language.

To whoever is embittered by the laws, it's not a must to study in Lagos state. If all other states do the same, there's nothing wrong in that. In fact, most states have always been doing things that favor their own indigenes and tribes for decades. It's only the approaches that vary.

"...30 seconds" doctors like you are the type that end up certifying a living person dead, just because you couldn't find a pulse, whereas the poor individual was just in some sort of coma they would have recovered from
I see. What sort of coma stops the heart and respiratory system for a stretch of time? What sort of coma makes a patient present stone cold and with muscles already stiffening? What sort of coma fixes the pupils and makes patient present with other signs of brainstem death? That must be an amazing coma!

For every country that closes border, for every rich man that starve the poor and for every tyrant.... Hell is real! there will be no mercy for your souls
You really didn't have to talk like a brainless chimp. Of course, that approach is reserved only for situations where the patient is suspected to be a (dead-on-arrival) patient.

You tell bring someone who has been electrocuted to my hospital after several minutes of the incident, or someone whose head was crushed in an accident that happened several hours earlier. Chances are very high the person would be dead on arrival. But Nigerians still bring such bodies to the hospital to see if anything can be done. While that isn't wrong, doctors can't bring the dead back to life.

mogboyelade:
Is it proper for a doctor to certify a patient dead at the entrance of hospital gate?
Yes. All I need to certify a patient dead are my stethoscope and my pen torch. You don't have to bring the patient into the hospital before I can check the patient with those. And I can quickly check for all signs of death within 30 seconds.

Nobody likes bad press. If I allow you to bring an already dead body into my hospital, what will start flying around is that he/she died right in my hospital or due to negligence on my part. Again, nobody wants to make the news for the wrong reasons, especially here in Nigeria where people "dive" into conclusion without verifying information.
