tit:No problem, keep fooling around. |
For all I care, all GMB haters can go and die! Even GEJ has accepted his fate. |
omenalfa:You have comprehension problems? I answered your question both directly and indirectly, and you still typed this? See your answer in the first line of the second paragraph. OK, to spare you the stress, the PARTY was elected, not the individual (as held by the Nigerian constitution). |
omenalfa:You didn't get my point. I was only agreeing with the guy who said the whole decision remains with the party (APC). And I was blasting the ignorant goofs who in their dreams expect GEJ to carry on. Well, to answer your question directly, the party was voted. The party fielded the candidate who won, and the same party will be required to provide a replacement if the unexpected happens to the candidate who actually won. The opposition isn't in the picture at all. So, whether or not Buhari dies before May 29, GEJ won't stay a day longer. |
bokohalal:Don't mind the goofs, including the st.u.pid lecturer who doesn't know jack about Nigerian laws. To think an opposition party would replace a deceased elected candidate is even senseless. Nigerian lecturers teaching their students bullsh.it since 1972AD. EDIT: darlenese:So, you quickly concluded that I didn't do my findings before posting? Below is an excerpt from the Nigerian constitution. Read it and then tell me where you got your own facts from (note the colored): 136. (1) If a person duly elected as President dies before taking and subscribing the Oath of Allegiance and oath of office, or is for any reason whatsoever unable to be sworn in, the person elected with him as Vice-President shall be sworn in as President and he shall nominate a new Vice-President who shall be appointed by the President with the approval by a simple majority of the National Assembly at a joint sitting. (2) Where the persons duly elected as President and Vice President die or are unable for any reason whatsoever to assume office before the inauguration of the National Assembly, the Independent National Electoral Commission shall immediately conduct an election for a President and the Vice-President. Here's a link to the Nigerian constitution, so you can see for yourself (136): http://www.nigeria-law.org/ConstitutionOfTheFederalRepublicOfNigeria.htm youngpol:I can see your lecturer has infected you with his stupidity. And the earlier you realize that lecturers are not always right, the better for your brain. See the relevant part of the Nigerian constitution I quoted above, then show it to your lecturer. Then tell him in Fela's voice, "Teacher don't teach me nonsense!" Last bullet: Nigerians arguing blindly since time immemorial. |
falconey:Gbam. The moment you get down there, the "love" will disappear. |
Nursecaleb:Read the post again. Where in the post did the OP ask you to write your surname? |
denzmark:Thanks. |
Mine is Google Adsense. Earnings have been varying since I started in November 2014. Here are earnings so far: November 2014 - $128 December 2014 - $291 January 2015 - $362 February 2015 -$431 March 2015 - $623 From the present look of things, my April earnings is unlikely to exceed that of March. But I'm anxiously waiting. |
This is the Islamic perspective: Whether or not he caused his own madness, a mad person will not be held responsible for or questioned over anything he does in the state of madness. If he dies in that state, his fate on the day of judgement will be based on his actions before he went mad. In other words, he will be judged based on his last actions when his mind was still sound. |
softapple:Talk is cheap. If she deserves to go to jail, she will go and NOTHING will happen. Again, nothing will happen! So, this is all you can produce with the "brain" you have? I give up. |
Nonybb:Please don't be silly on a Sunday. So you're still embittered about GMB's victory? My friend, you're on a 4-year long thing (at least). |
Orubebe, is that you again? |
Austin4lif:Don't be silly! Nigerians, not Jega, handed power over to Buhari. Your bitterness over the election results shouldn't prompt you to talk like Orubebe. |
It seems someone here doesn't understand simple English. The header clearly states, "preliminary results", which means results based on the earliest results to be collated. The results in that chart are based on the voted counted as of the time the chart was created, and that's why there is no data for some states. |
Even those innocent ones won't blame Buhari for their own death. So, why disturb yourself over a baseless rumor? I challenge you to provide convincing proof that Buhari killed them. |

khenykhey:He doesn't deserve an award after playing 100 matches for his country? How many players do you think have achieved that feat? Hate is a killer disease. |
Shollay20:If the traffic counter on the Blogger dashboard is the source of your traffic figures, then you may have been looking at exaggerated figures. Use Google Analytics to get your real traffic figures. |
I think the mods here are asleep. |
Before you apply for Google Adsense, ensure that your blog is content-rich, with all necessary pages put up: about, contact, privacy policy, etc |
Keep wasting your time setting questions. You think he's a Nairalander? |
Keep wasting your time. You think he's a Nairalander? |
Googleus:First, I think you're too much in a hurry. You created a blog just last month and you want to monetize it now with Adsense? Well, I don't think it will work. You still need to add lots of quality content and work on growing your traffic. That should be your priority for now. Secondly, I can see your blog isn't focused on one topic. Though the name and header texts suggests your blog is catered to construction, I saw posts on education, real estate, and even general news. Please stand for something. Finally, to be frank with you, the niche you chose isn't one that attracts much interest. That topic is not one that many Nigerians love to read online. Your first step towards setting up a successful blog is to choose a topic that people read and search online. This post details profitable blog niches that will quickly attract a huge Nigerian/global audience. Read it, and settle with something better. But please, don't ever consider entertainment and celebrity gist! |
coolwas:Thanks. |
Adele200:You're welcome. |
The most converting Adsense ad units are 300 x 250, 336 x 280, and 300 x 600. |
Adele200:Being in the make money online niche myself, I must confess to you that gain traction with SEO is quite difficult. Paid advertising and forum marketing are far more effective methods. To attract attention, you need to be extremely generous with information and transparent in your dealings. |
^^^^^ You people like acting silly. Why not create a separate thread for your whacky offer? |
darmochy1:Thanks bro. |
No doubt, Google Adsense is one of the easiest and best ways to monetize your blog. I have a high-traffic blog and I started monetizing it with Adsense last November. Here are my monthly earnings since then: November 2014: $128.61 December 2014: $291.55 January 2015: $361.52 February 2015: $434.74 (Click here to see proof of earnings) As you can see, the earnings keep increasing by the month. And going by present figures, I'll net at least $530 by the end of March 2015. Presently, I earn $15 - $25 daily (but I earned $31 a few days back). Now, I want to share with you some of the strategies I've used to increase my Adsense earnings consistently and some things I've learned since I started monetizing with Adsense: First, traffic matters most. Presently, my blog attracts around 4,500 daily visits and generates about 15,000 daily page views (see the screenshot). Without decent amount of traffic, you won't earn decent income from Adsense. Second, keep testing different ad placement formats until you get the one that attracts clicks the most. There's no format set in the stone, so you have to keep tweaking to see what works best for your blog. However, be careful not to place too many ads above the fold. Adsense hates this! Third, link ads rock! I've observed that many Nigerian bloggers put up only banner ad units and ignore text link ad units. Truth is, text link ad units are usually more in line with your content, so they tend to attract lots of clicks. If you've not been using them, you're losing money! Fourth, increase your page views. The more page views you have, the higher the number of ad clicks you'll generate. Why? Because more page views mean visitors stay on your blog to read multiple pages before leaving. In addition, the more your page views, the lower your clickthrough rate. And the lower your clickthrough rate, the safer you are (because Google Adsense bans accounts with exceptionally high CTR). To increase your page views, use "Related Posts" and "Popular Posts" plugins or widgets. Fifth, wide ad units attract most clicks. I've observed that the leaderboard that most bloggers place in their blog headers and the skyscraper usually placed in the sidebar don't really attract attention. Why? Because visitors are usually focused on the content area, not the header or sidebar. So, ad units embedded within content attract most clicks. Sixth, always monitor your Adsense dashboard. When necessary, it gives you hints on what to do to increase your earnings. Also, it sends you warning signals when some things are goung wrong. Seventh, monitor your traffic with Google Analytics, not the Blogger Dashboard traffic stats. As for the traffic stats on Blogger dashboard, it gives exaggerated traffic reports because it counts visits from bots and search engine spiders as part of your traffic. However, Google Analytics tracks only real human traffic. Why should you monitor your Analytics stats. Let me share this with you: last week, I noticed that my clickthrough rate was getting higher, and I couldn't explain why. I then noticed that the number of page views has reduced. With the help of Google Analytics, I was able to find out the exact date the problem started. And I was able to find the cause of the problem (one silly plugin was making the blog show blank on opera mini, which increased the bounce rate and reduced the number of page views). I quickly deleted the plugin, and things went back to normal. Eighth, search engine traffic generates most clicks. Why because SEO brings fresh visitors, not repeat visitors who are already "blind" to your ads. Please note that my blog runs on WordPress, not Blogger. And most of its traffic (95%) comes from search engines (Google majorly). It's solely targeted at Nigerians, and it's less than 2 years old. So, if you have any questions regarding this post or something to add, leave a comment and let's learn from each other.
