curiobling:Fixed. Thanks for your concern. |
Definitely weirdly stylish! |
Help! I can't see option to upload my fitness certificate today after uploading the other documents yesterday. Pls someone help me out. |
This Osibanjo's moaning is pathetic and does not hold water against the current PDP because the man who did most of those things is now campaigning for the APC. |
I detest the use of kk. Once a lady starts to use it, it means she wants me to stop chatting with her. |
donphilopus:See what mtn did to me. I go congratulate u d way GEJ congulated GMB sha. |
I always wonder when we shall learn to be responsible during elections in Nigeria. |
I've opened this thread to address a repugnant behaviour I've observed in here. I'm just so annoyed with many guys who spend almost their whole day bashing ladies on Nairaland, calling them all sort of names. And one is left to wonder the reason behind this distateful culture. I'm not a feminist nor do I entirely support all the drama women do create sometimes that comes back to haunt them. All I'm pleading for is that guys should put the brakes on in doing the bashing. Many of us have sisters and I wonder whether we have ever cared to put ourselves in their shoes or thought of how they feel about the bashing going on here on daily basis, if they are on Nairaland. I feel it makes many girls feel bad about themselves. Imagine if a guy had told your sister some of these nasty things you say to and about girls on this forum. Just imagine it! I love my sisters and won't say such ugly things about them. So why should I say it to other girls? If a girl cheats on you or breaks your heart, I feel it is no good reason to come here and bash all the ladies. It is purely a case of displaced anger and a huge sign of immaturity on your part. Face the problem squarely and don't write volumes about it. Simply ask for advice and those knowledgeable and competent ones in our midst would no doubt help you out. After all, the choice is still yours to move on with your life. If she decides to object to your woo or request money from you to that end, the ball is still in your court to meet her demands or not. So there is no reason you should crow it for the whole world to hear. You won't solve your problem by so doing. To be candid, men also engage in some of these notorious acts that are even worse than things girls have done to us. But as usual, we tend to play the saint and see the female as the unholy side of the union. It's not cool and portends danger for future marriages. Imagine your child calling your wife (his mother) or your sibling terming your girlfriend a hoe! The bottom line is that, we should try to keep it nice even when we want to lacerate the flaws of women. Stop calling them hoes or other ugly names. For Christ's sake, these are future wives and mothers. And I believe no one would feel happy if his wife or sibling or mother is called such detestable names. |
What is good for the centre is good for Lagos. |
This is outrageous, silly of the girlfriend! |
I was so taken aback when I found out that it took me a long time to forgive him. |
This is the effective use of emotional manipulation on women. It can be said to be unfair but, I feel, it is suitable for many ladies. Don't do it too much lest you may lose her. Keep it moderate. |
So OBJ is now an APC member. Ok...let's see how the centre will hold in time to come. |
Saved for future use. Thanks. |
I'm not surprised. Politics of no ideology! |
I sometimes wonder what people like you would be writing on when GEJ finally leaves the scene. |
Prof, you did a disservice to yourself by judging yourself by yourself. |
Sometimes I wonder if my parents read articles on relationship to have had an excellent marriage. Too much of anything is bad. |
I hated wall geckos with a passion until I discovered their usefulness in keeping insects down in the house. I'm still petrified whenever I see them, to an extent. In case you wish to keep their numbers down in the house, just eliminate the insects in the house and they will disappear naturally. |
I get confused when we men tell ladies to take us for whom we are. Do we mean the character, or our bare physiognomy? I don't understand! Assuming it's the character, what then happens to those who lack it? What if the lady has a different perception of character, what happens then? I think we need to make this point clear to the fairer sex. |
I feel women need to be more assertive in this regard. |
Two things would have nipped it at the bud. You shouldn't have allowed her to bring the foodstuffs to your house. Second, you should have gone out to take them from her when she came to deliver them. Prevention is better than cure. And as Nairalanders would say, konji na bastard. Never trust yourself too much in that regard. You're a man with blood flowing in your veins. |
I wish I was not a virgin! |
Kill yourself and run away! |
Abuse is any unappreciative and discomforting act of a friend. The subtle ones are more dangerous. Unfortunately, we read some as signs of love. |
Nigerians might be in for a rude shock! |
This sounds like an omen to me. |
