Annihilate them |
Decimate them; in fact, annihilate the scums, Dear Gallant Soldiers. |

Is it only I that suspect Nuhu Ribadu might do a Murtala Nyako once he clinches power under the platform of the PDP? The guy's body language is damn fishy. |

Justeenaleo: CoolThank you. The Consistent use of right words in speech and writing is difficult to acquire and there are many words prone to misuse and abuse. But we must strive to develop ear to discern meaning of words to avoid confusion. |

MOD, please move it to frontpage for the the sake of grammar. Thank you. |
I created this thread to enlighten those who may not know that the word reasonable has multiple meanings that are closely related, but at scrutiny reveals a lot of differences. I could remember when someone told me that a particular old man was reasonable. I was confused and was only able to arrive at the true meaning after more questions and clarifications. The word reasonable can take any of these meanings: 1. That which can be reasoned out 2. That which can be reasoned with 3. That which has reason 4. That which can listen to reason 5. That which is consistent with reason 6. That which can reason. So when next you use it, please endeavour to make your meaning clear by adding an explanation of what you really mean. |
That so awkward moment when you meet a mountainous pile of files before submitting your own application. Nigga would be like... Who will sort out all this? Whose would go to the toilet? Whose would gather cobwebs... |
Send this biological weapon to Sambisa Forest. |
For her Who tamed death Etched her name On the sands of time, May your spirit Walk ethereally Not in a world You conquered. Rest In Peace, Doc. |
If all these states end up created, I wonder how they would survive a post-oil Nigeria. It is time we acknowledged the bitter truth that states creation is not the solution to our socio-economic problems. What is the difference between the Nigeria of three regions and the Nigeria of 36 states? |
(British accent)... Good on him |
Pardon my pedantry but you need to work on your English. |
oduastates: A complete joke. What has Bayelsa have to do with this? When OBJ was ruling and things were not going well, would you have made the same remark? Your hate will consume you if you are not careful. You are too educated to play a dirty tribal game. I'm not saying you have to support GEJ, but your hatred for the man and his administration should not extend to Bayelsa State. Thank you. |
One thing I hate we Africans for is our uncanny ability to cook up tales of conspiracy whenever an affliction is upon us, instead of looking for solution. Dead men don't talk. We have to live and such conspiracy theories won't do that for us. If we want to survive and enjoy the future years, we have to rid ourselves of such superstitious conspiracy theories and take our destiny in our hands. One way to do this is to start funding and encouraging our local scientists to unearth solution to local epidemic like Ebola. My humble submission. |
This is preposterous |
Noted, but these articles are increasingly becoming too many and boring. There is really no perfect rule on relationship. We have to make use of our brains in picking a partner and ensuring that we have one who shares a lot in common with us, and who can also tolerate our flaws. |
What I find most faulty and condemnable about contemporary political criticism is that it is just too personal. There is a clear difference between criticism and insult and also a clear difference between the person and the office. If you say GEJ is daft and clueless, to be candid, it is no criticism. You have only succeeded in insulting the person and not the office, which is rude. This is a fact that many persons are not aware of. For the sake of those persistent GEJ critics, I have to absolve myself of any notion of bootlicking before I would be made to look like one. I'm no GEJ minion. I'm only interested in setting certain notions in our daily political discourse right. |
Yungwizzzy: Na you kon dull passGuy, it's not what you think. Whether a girl has a bf is not written on the forehead. Besides, I was not a player. |
I've had a similar experience. There was this girl I tried to date at school. She was actually dull but very beautiful. So I went to her house one day and received one of the biggest embarrassments of a lifetime. I obviously met her boyfriend when I visited. Omo, the babe didnt even say welcome, didnt even look at my face. As a guy I have to make up by shaking the hand of the guy and tried a joke. Thereafter, I bolted out and swore never to re-visit her. Some girls can be... SMH |
OP, thanks, you have added something to my life this beautiful morning. |
Delegate? SMH |
saalma: Rubbish! There is nothing unholy about sex in marriage. Stop this right at the alter hypocrisy abegMadam, did we quarrel in our former lives? I'm afraid we never had one, so dont take it personally. It's just an opinion. I never said sex is unholy in my post. Please reread my post. Thanks. |
Women blaming men for their woes since 1886 |
I dont know why people are so obsessed with sex. Haba, I still think it is an enjoyable experience but marriage is beyond sex alone. I'm discombobulated to learn such a thought was on someone's mind, right at the altar! |
I've always advised us to speak on what we truly know, and not on things we have read or what we havn been told. There is always the danger of propagating lies by so doing. I can speak on the culture of my people. By the standards of my culture and the environment in which I grew up, women enjoy equal rights with men. The image we give of oppressed women is fake. It is the woman more than the man that is responsible for her predicament. |
bot101: Readers should please think twice before voting in the forthcoming election. Would you prefer to vote in a party which has disrespected the seat of the presidency which they now seek?. Truly seek out their true motive before voting for anyone. You sound as though the Presidency were immune from criticism. |
