Rotjijatau: The following are the things you must do when living in any compound you are living and your respect will remain high...

(1.) Don't be the borrowing type of neighbour, rather be the person whom your neighbours are borrowing from.
(2.) Prepare your light bill before the month end to avoid your neighbours saying you're the only person who haven't paid your bill.
(3.) Don't bring too many friends to your house.

(4.) Don't talk too much with your neighbours to avoid gossip.
(5.) Don't be the only person who is fund (fond) of using the toilet without flushing...... Please add yours!!!
PoliticsRe: The Shouts Of Up NEPA On Power Restoration Has To Stop by Welrez(op): 4:41pm On Jul 03, 2014
Your right . . . .

Come to think of it - why do i call 'Okada' (motorcycle taxi) Okada?

I've been 'Nigerianized.......
The truth I must confess I have unearthed is that many a Nigerian wants this country to remain the way it is so they can always have a bad tale to tell about it. The thinking of some seems analogous to a sadist's. Nigerianisation should mean something high in substance.

It's quite unfortunate many missed the humour. I now believe that many Nigerians are intolerant of change.
No....but after how many decades of 'Nepa' the habit of cursing them won't cease over night.
What I'm sincerely scared of is the possibility of it becoming generational to the extent that future generations might just continue the habit without meeting the dismantled corporation.
I also shout it when they take the light - its just they way Nigeria has programmed me.
I hope you were not programmed to become Shekau's by the same Nigeria.
PoliticsThe Shouts Of Up NEPA On Power Restoration Has To Stop by Welrez(op): 3:12pm On Jul 02, 2014
We just have to stop this nonsense. If it was a behaviour displayed only by children, it would have been easy to comprehend. It is an anomaly for an adult to indulge in such a puerile act. It might mislead an alien to think we are still in the Stone Age.

I am referring to this our condemnable habit of shouting NEPA whenever power is restored. I am short of words to describe this show of shame. Even now that the body of NEPA has been laid to rest, we have continued to invoke its spirit to haunt the extant power companies. And as if to corroborate my suspicion of an uncannily diabolical nexus between the gone and the existing, the shout of NEPA is usually crowned with an ephemeral stay of power before returning us to pits of darkness.

It is becoming clear that we citizens' refusal to view security as a collective affair is our undoing. If you think you can always survive to blame the government, be reminded today that the dead don't talk. Be vigilant, take your safety in your hands, put your ears down for the latest intelligence feed.

PoliticsRe: Another Look At President Jonathan’s Achievements by Welrez(m): 7:03am On Dec 20, 2013
obayaya: Sir, I was moved to reply this your question sir.

there are 2 ways of fighting poverty- poverty alleviation or wealth creation..

poverty alleviation involves dishing out unsustainable peanuts which was the approach Of most African states including Nigeria

Wealth creation on the other hand is helping the masses by creating an avenue for them to make good money from what they have always been doing.. what they know how to do.

Now, how best can you help a poor farmer in the village? Creating a demand for their products and making it accessible.

The cassava farmers are already smiling and Rice and fish farmers will soon join them. Now if the roads are good, the farmers will spend less in transporting their goods.. meaning more profit. if the airports are cool and interesting.. more investors will find their way into the country to invest in things that will need maybe cassava or any other thing as raw material plus create new jobs.

I know it'll take time before it goes round. but if this is sustained, the masses will feel it more sooner..
I concur,sir.
PoliticsRe: East-west Road: Progress Report With Pictures by Welrez(m): 6:27am On Dec 20, 2013
I passed through that road on my way from Aba to Delta on the 17th of December,2013 and I can categorically tell you that, except for the Bayelsa section which is by far the most uncompleted, work on the road is making progress.I travelled home in ease, unlike the previous occasions when one danced alingo all the way.I am impressed, but I want more effort so that the project will be completed in time.I also want more work on the Bomadi-Ndoro road, since the Ughelli-Bomadi road is almost completed now.

hardywaltz: Mr Man/woman stop following me about GEJ is a clueless coward come 2015 he shall be shown the way out.
When a President looses[sic] the majority in a house of parliament is he referred to as LAME DUCK PRESIDENT. Its just a matter of time before he looses[sic] the Senate then some of those Northern States (Katsina, Nassarawa, Bauchi & co) will pull out of PDP for fear of loosing[sic] in the general election[sic] lets see if its old man Jang & Pa Elechi, sick Chime & Imoke, Daft Orji & Uduaghan, political nwatakiri Obiano, loud mouthed & not so clever Akpabio and inconsequential Dickson that will deliver him in the next election.
You called my governor inconsequential? Please, can I know your governor?A man who cannot correctly construct a simple sentence is calling another man clueless and daft.I sincerely doubt if you know the meaning of those words. You need to cover your rump when you bend to look at another man's.It is quite unfortunate that we Nigerians have decided to abuse our freedom of speech, which substance was even enhanced by the signing into law of the Freedom of Information Bill by the same man we call daft and clueless. For those who support APC,please can you tell me your party manifesto?I want to know if it will be different from what we are used to in this country. Some of us are so brainless that it is a shame to be from the same country with them. You said that the APC is progressive. How true is that statement of yours while the APC is busy absorbing conservative elements from the same corrupt PDP?Are you telling me that the APC has become a River Jordan? What will happen if GEJ defects to the APC?I guess he will instantly become a progressive. All I know is that the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy is hungry for power and the Yoruba, since they have nothing to lose, are selling the south to them.Do not forget the blood of Abiola,Dele Giwa,Bola Ige,ken Saro Wiwa, and many others that are still crying for justice.I hope our past is not about to manifest in our future.
PoliticsRe: 37 PDP House Of Reps Members Decamp To The APC by Welrez(m): 9:07pm On Dec 18, 2013
Whenever I hear people call GEJ daft and clueless,I laugh at their effort.Certainly,a man who cannot accomplish the simple task of constructing a correct sentence is the godfather of daftness and cluelessness.

There is no need to insult each other. What is needed is for us to collectively find a solution to this impasse.A third party should help to bring FG and ASUU to a round table and jaw jaw away this problem.I see people hearts ruling their heads on this issue.

PoliticsRe: Stella Oduah Armoured Car Scandal House Committee Hearing (2) – Live Update by Welrez(m): 3:07pm On Oct 31, 2013
What I cannot understand is why Oduah people in Enugu and other places are protesting her being accused of such a grave crime. They should hang their heads in shame! The truth will stand to haunt us that we are all massive contributors to the entrenchment of corruption in Nigeria. What even surprised me more is how the House of Representatives of Farouk,Elumodi, developed the moral piousness to undertake a hearing on this matter. Can a hand filled with shit wash clean another hand like itself?A sane public office holder would have resigned long ago.Japanese Prime Ministers have resigned for less offensive accusations and the difference between us and them,in terms of development, is clear. We will continue to be bogged down in this mess until we develop a sane political culture.Let Oduah go home and allow proper investigation to be done .If she is innocent, time will vindicate her.Her continuous occupation can only deepen suspicion,an ilk of a parasitic viciousness in a filthy system.

What amazed me more was when she called Wole Soyinka an 'embarrassment'.Who lent her that word? This lady wants to be flayed alive. What more can I say than that power corrupts and the absolute type, which seems to enjoy, corrupts absolutely.Age is revered and the wintry hair haloed with achievements should be more revered.Hold your tongue,Mrs Malaprop.I believe she talks to her husband in this manner at home.
