Wemmy017:sorry mama. it is part of the package and I also experienced it. What I did was to eat out or eat at a friend's place.
Or hubby cooks for me just to minimize the aroma i perceived but now I eat well. Don't worry u will be fine.

Thanks Cappo. I wish i was in naija where i can see all those buka food. The only naija restaurant here no just try or maybe It's just me. Been eating rice, bread and tea. Can't wait for my appetite to come back. God help us.

Mummy's rejoice with me,my prince came out on 18th,@ 5:45pm,weight 3.2kg immediately I reach hospital it didn't take me 2mins my prince jumped out,doctors and nurses were surprise, i asked God for easy delivery,he answerd me,I don't know how I will thank this God..may God make it esay to all the pregnant women in this thread

My Cappo, we are fine o. As usual i will need your input and that of other mamas. I've been fine so far. I just want to know if food aversion is normal at 25weeks plus. It's just getting worse. I just force myself to eat the little i eat. The smell of food dey do me strong thing. I need help. Ranting ends.

Our yummy, oyibo-pepper princess arrived this afternoon by 2pm via VD with tear weighing 3.7kg after a sharp sharp labour. It was indeed a 'Hebrew Women' delivery.
Baby, mummy and daddy all doing great and rejoicing. God will make it smooth and easy for all waddling mommas.

Your areola is dry that’s why it’s peeling and feels itchy. Try moisturizing it everyday with olive oil or shea butter immediately after your bath, it should feel better in a few days. Pele, you’ll be fine.

Thank you so much ma. I have been applying olive oil even before the itching started. Now i have started applying shea butter, I've not itched since i started. Waiting for the flaking to stop. God bless you ma for your timely response.

My areola, that black place around my nipples has been itching me seriously. I started to notice some few weeks back that it peels and yesterday it looks like I'm having a sore there, although it's small. Please is the itching and peeling normal? What can i do for relieve? God bless you all as u help a ftm.

Cute Mama, your bump always gives me hope. I always feel my bump is too small. Seeing yours with same weeks as mine makes me ha :Dy. It only means all is well.

Birth story (BS)


She was caught up with the gist that she forgot all the patients. i reached 10cm. called and shouted her name, she didn't answer. At each contraction at 10cm i tried to push on my own cause of the strong urge. When she eventually came to my aid after a very long 15mins that looked like forever, i had already torn my perineum and she tore the remaining flesh to the anus. My baby Came after about 6 assisted time of pushing. I didn't allow the woman to stitch me cause I felt a heavy hatred towards her. A Dr came after abt 30 mins to do the stitching. He screamed at the level of tear. He said its a 3rd degree one and i bled heavily. The injection given to deaden the cells of my vagina didn't work for me. i was given the injection twice but to no avail, the stitching had to be done anyway and i visited heaven and came back. The pain was out of this world.
Despite all these, i thank God for keeping me and my baby alive and i hope to embark of another missionary journey before the end of the year. Make i do and finally close shop. Thank God it ended in praise.

Hello my E-sisters. The Lord is our banner and our strength.

I kept praying and to the glory of God, the baby is growing with good heart pulse. When I went for scan yesterday, it was 9weeks 3days with September 3 as new edd. It can only be God judging by the two miscarriages I had and didn't last till this one.

I pray God will perfect all that concerns us and we shall testify in Jesus name (Amen)

Mama, this miracle is here to stay and going nowhere. You shall carry your baby/ies at the appointed time this year and the Lord shall perfect everything that concerns you in Jesus Name. It is well.

The anaesthetists had to wait for minutes to have me comport myself to be still for the epidural.. After 8 hrs.. I still was not dilated beyond the point I was at the antenatal ward.. 3 doctors then came to me, I was infected and may have to do emergency Cs.. Did the Cs, I did not hear my baby cry, I was already panicking, asked my husband what was happening.. He tried to calm me down. They carried baby away immediately she was removed and started stitching or gumming me.. Hubby just sat there confused.. Later on, he went to where they took her.. After 10 mins, heard my baby cry.. Was overjoyed.. Baby and I were on antibiotics for 7 days.. Baby had to be taken to nicu at some point.. But we're finally discharged a day to the naming day.

We bless the name of God.

Happy Second Trimester to us all grin, la'enjoyment phase.

Happy to hear from you again Cappo...everything has been going on fine. The only thing is tiredness and back ache once in a while. But I'm as strong as ever. I give God all the glory. My LO's sex is pink o. Confirmed yesterday.

Birth Story - my due date was 18th January . My. cervix was softening but i was not dialated so I decided to wait a lil longer. I did everything from climbing stairs, taking pineapple etc except castor oil due to the side effects. At my 41 weeks appointment there was still no dialation. My doctor couldn’t do a membrane sweep because I had to be at least 1cm dialated. I did not want to go though hours of labour from being induced due to my experience with my first child where I was also past due so I opted for a CS. Checked into the hospital 5am in the morning with Dh as scheduled. The nurses came in to administer the IV and antibiotics. The anaesthetist came in and asked if I wanted to be awake during the CS and I answered yes. Hubby was given a surgical scrub to wear and I was wheeled into that theatre around 7:30am. A spinal anaesthetic was injected in my spine and I became numb from my chest down. My doctor and a baby doctor came in and the surgery started. Baby arrived around 8:30am. I was given my baby to hold for a few sec and he was taken away to be checked and cleaned up. I was stitched up, cleaned and wheeled back to a recovery room for monitoring for about 1hr before being wheeled to back my hospital bedroom. The pain is real! Thank God for a successful delivery

Good day all.
I thank God for safe delivery of the apple of my eyes. I gave birth after 11 hours of active labor yesterday, baby was 3.3kg, no tears, mom and baby are fine.
At last my first missionary journey has ended on a successful note, a big thank you to all the wonderful ladies on this thread who helped and supported me with their words of wisdom while I was still carrying.

Chai, labor isn't easy at all ooo, the pain is really real. See as I dey shout with all my voice, me wen bin dey plan to deliver with swag.

Congrats Mama...we thank God for safe delivery plus no tear. Only God could have done it. God bless your home!
