I had same issues after I got married. I am not just a sex person. I tried all sorts, Maca, dates, watermelon and milk. The one recipe I saw on facebook called "fin drink". it's a mixture of blended dates, coconut, Tiger nuts(ofio). Well some swore by it, tales of how it made them very Hot. I was looking forward to the magic, but it only made me sleep. Along the line one of the many things started working and I was enjoying sex, but after I got Pregnant I don't want to think of sex. I only do it since I heard it helps in childbirth.

so funny. It's a great relief to know I'm not alone. Those were the exact things i was told to take too. I hope it works for me. For now i will just keep enduring it. Thanks Mama for sharing your experience.

It's alright ma. Actually, i was asked to blend tiger nuts, coconut and dates together, taking it twice a week. I was also asked to take a lot of nuts including almond if i can afford it. I think dark chocolate was included. The drink is the major one sha. Never tried it though, but hope to after delivery. Most importantly i read that stress kills sex drive.

I've had no past experience really, just that the drive is not there. I don't think I've ever approached my hubby for sex in our 2yrs of marriage. It's been one sided. I heard there are things i can take to boost my drive, which i plan to start taking after delivery

So this is the 4000th page of this thread! Glory be to God for all of the testimonies and victories so far. Ehn, i've often heard it helps delivery. But i've also seen people whose husbands were not around and they went on to have smooth deliveries. So i really don't know.
But the koko is that oga needs to shine the congo he paid for, so please don't deprive him. It helps you two bond very well. You can tell him how you want it done, i'm sure he'll be more than willing to try them out.

Good afternoon Mamas, as usual help a ftm!!!
I honestly do not like sex and from the day i got a BFP, i gave my DH confim yellow card. I was recently talking with my mother in the Lord and she kept emphasizing it that I'm supposed to have it at least twice a week till my EDD for easy delivery. Experienced mamas, what will happen if i don't? At least some women are not usually with their husbands during pregnancy and their delivery is still smooth.

Pls what's your take? I beg, make una no jump and pass...

On Tuesday morning last week, at exactly 4am I started to feel the same way i feel when ever am expecting AF. And it was coming on and off. Not exactly painful at that point....but it certainly felt like sth was happening down there. I was excited considering the fact that i had passed my EDD and hubs and I had even started quarelling as if its my fault the baby wasnt out yet. Infact he had to take me to another lab. According to him "we must know the exact date. Lets use another scan" As if its the work of man!
Of course i didnt complain, i obediently followed. Scan showed a more extended EDD . Na so the man just vex. Me i didnt even bother.

Next contraction i pushed with all my strength and out came my prince charming, crying his lungs out. He was placed on me for a while before taken away. I looked around to find my husband kneeling on the floor thanking God, almsot in tears. Foolish man, i told myself Truth be told, even after the placenta came out, if anyone had asked if cud go thru that experience again...i wld land a hot slap on his face before responding.

My dear, anybody wey no respect God, enter labour room come out must change and no say God dey!
Labours is such a beautiful and wonderful experience. And ryt now, if u ask me, I wld certainly do this again when it is time..
Meanwhile....my own kpekus drive increased after birth. Like am i even normal . Hubs be looking sexier than ever.
I ll let some time pass. If hubs doesnt come forward...i ll av no choice than to adopt Beydew method.

At 11am yesterday i went for Scanning saying inadequate aminiotic fluid and cervix close at 40 weeks + 12am. Beautifulrosa congratulations to us.

My constant hunger has resumed after a short break which explains why I'm awake at midnight. Nothing i eat seems to satisfy it. Although I'm not eating for two yet, i just try to eat three times a day. This is because i don't get to see our naija food often, which is all i crave for atm. Also i get full easily and i'm beginning to take lots of water. My only fear is that I'm yet to take fruits plus I'm wondering if I'm eating well enough. Let me stop here ma. I pray for all our mamas that have dropped, may God bless your LOs. As for us strolling behind, it shall be a smooth delivery for us all. Amen

My sister had cs for her first baby and she took in for her second baby while her first baby was just 10months. Her doctor said she was good to go. Today she and her two sons are doing fine. I don't think there is any problem except your doctor recommends otherwise.

I've started cooking my meals and I'm beginning to eat little by little, at least better than before. Yesterday, i was feeling pains on my right side. I was so worried. Rushed to the hospital. A scan was done and i was certified okay. Got a print out of my baby too in different positions. Was too happy to eat sef. Scan said I'm 18wks and my bump is barely visible. My only challenge so far is that my belly is always tight. Cappo, that's my story so far. It will end in praise for us.

BIRTHSTORY
My Edd was on the 17th of December before then the gynaecologist had already told me that if my baby doesnt come before that day i should come on tuesday(19th) so we can decide if i was to be induced or operated upon. On monday (18th) at 9pm just as i was preparing for bed my water broke . Immediately mother and father in law took me to the hospital. On getting to the labour ward vaginal examination was carried out and i was just a finger tip dialated so i was sent to the labour ward. The contractions started; each one was more severe than the last. A doctor came around 10.30 carried out VE and said i was 2cm dialated. she then did a membrane sweep(it was like going to hell and coming back). I laboured all through the night. My mother in law was such a sweetheart through out the night she didnt blink an eyelid , she was reading the rosary ,praying over me nd she rubbed my back through each contraction. Fast forward to 9am in the morning ve was carried out result was 3cm i wanted to cry o. I started talking to my mil that i want cs(she's a midwife in the same hospital so she can make it happen). She kept pleading withb me that i was making progress but i didnt even listen to her i kept begging for cs. 12noon doctor came again i was 4cm, the new broke my heart. The contractions was like my waist would break,like 10 men were hitting me with sticks. I increased the tempo of my plea. I begged everyone who cared to listen that i couldnt take the pain anymore and they should plead with my parents inlaw to take me to the theater. At this point my mil started crying. She couldnt stand it again so she went and stood in a corner. Her collegues came and started urging me to bear it and also to walk around a bit. Walk ke! That na death sentence o! They ended forcing me. We walked for about 10 minutes then VE was repeated: 7cm. I was then taken back to the labour ward. It was then i knew that labour pain is not from this planet. The contractions became more frequent and painful(like 2 minutes in between). I was checked again 8cm. After few minutes each contraction came with an urge to poo. I started shouting that i want to use the toilet. They then took me to the delivery room,hang leg up and the midmife said anything u want to do,do it here,poo every poo o! She then told me to poo with every contraction. I knew the end was near, i pushed like my life depended on it. After several attempts i was given a tear and my son came out. The relief was heavenly, the joy was divine, my son was placed on me i started laughing i couldnt contain the joy. My son arrived at exactly 2.35pm and weighed 3.4kg.

This is a new week, hope we are all taking our prenatal drugs, fruits and attending Antenatal regularly(I know some of us no dey go, oya start attending biko,it is important). If you have checked ur Lo sex, please indicate so I can update. I tried checking my Los sex today, The baby just sat with bum and even cross leg join but am hoping for a boy sha. You can check your Los sex from 16weeks i guess but it will be better if u wait till 20 weeks to also do anomaly scan.

As for the craving and eating u are not alone dear, the rate am eating this days it is as if am carrying double but na single, in fact as am typing, am just devouring my left over EBA yesterday, I can't hold it. Try and be taking fruits often, as for the cramp, be hydrated by taking much fluid, and also no harm in checking with your doc if the cramp still persist, it will end in praise.

Thanks Sis...because i don't get to see what i want, i hardly eat much. I take lots of slightly hot water as i cant drink ordinary water. I'm yet to be able to take fruits. It's nauseating. God help us
