A chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Worker, NURTW, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, has appeared in a live video, thereby putting an end to rumours of his death.

Recall that MC Oluomo was some few weeks ago stabbed on the neck and stomach during a rally of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State.

Following the incident, speculations were rife that MC Oluomo has passed on due to the injuries sustained from the attack.

But his daughter, Aduke Akinsanya dispelled the rumour of her father’s death

However, MC Oluomo, has now appeared in a live in a video with popular Yoruba Fuji musician, Taye Currency.

Currency, who spoke in Yoruba, could be heard saying: ‘Contrary to speculations, MC Oluomo was alive and well.

The Chairman of the National Union of Road Transports Workers (NURTW) in Ondo State, Jacob Adebo (aka Idajo), has been arrested by security operatives.

It was learnt that Adebo was yesterday whisked away to the Force Criminal Investigations Department (FCID) at Alagbon, in Lagos State.

A source, who confirmed his arrest in Akure, said the NURTW chief was arrested over a petition written against him.

Sixteen aggrieved lawmakers of the Ondo State House of Assembly had recently petitioned the Inspector General of Police, (IGP) Ibrahim Idris, over the attack allegedly led by Idajo on the assembly where many of them including journalists and assembly workers were assaulted.

In the petition, the lawmakers explained how Adebo and his members beat up members of the assembly and also destroyed properties worth millions of naira.

The source explained that Adebo was taken to Lagos State by security agents dressed in plain clothes. Police spokesman, Femi Joseph, confirmed the arrest of Adebo but did not give any reason his arrest. Many political observers and groups had criticised Adebo over attacks on innocent people at gatherings in the state.

They expressed delight on the directive by the IGP to pick him for interrogation, stressing that the action would check his excesses.

In a press statement signed by the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt Olamide George, and the majority leader of the assembly, Hon. Olamide Araoyinbo, the lawmakers commended the IGP over the arrest of the NURTW chairman, saying the violent attack and wanton destruction of properties at the assembly complex on Friday November 9th, 2018, should not be swept under the carpet.

“It has become a misery why somebody, just one person who holds an entire state into ransom over his nefarious activities such that he decides who to live or not live in Akure, his dimension of thuggery in the last two years, is a huge concern to citizens and residents of Akure, but we are happy as peace has been restored eventually.

I tip Mimiko to win the Ondo central Senatorial race if he eventually contests.
There are six local governments under this Senatorial district and Mimiko may likely have landslide victory in both Ondo west LG and Ondo east LG. People in the state capital which is Akure South LG believe he performed very well during his tenure as the governor of the state using the performance of Akeredolu as a yardstick. Therefore, he may emerge victorious in the state capital too.
The other three local governments votes will be shared among the contestants.
This is my take.

The worst ever Governor that has governed Ondo state. He does not care about the plight of his people.
There are two terrible spots between akure - Owo highway, a major road to Akeredolu'hometown. The Governor has not dimmed it necessary for the spots to be rehabilitated for the past 2 months.

In a divorce suit, most times, children custody is awarded to the women. And men will continue to pay some amount of money monthly for the welfare of the kids.
Eventually, the children still give all the credits to their mothers and may not even bother to cater for their fathers wen they are grown up.
My take is this, the men should stop bothering to file for divorce, once a woman moves out with the children, she should be allowed to without man instituting any court case. Because eventually, men will bear the brunt.

The battle of the Titans
Tinubu /Aregbesola VS Amosun/Fayemi /Akeredolu.
This Supremacy Battle started during the last Ondo state gubernatorial election that produced Akeredolu as the Governor. The anointed candidate of Tinubu narrowly lost to Akeredolu at the controversial APC primary election.
In the last gubernatorial election in Ekiti State it was rumored that Tinubu was supporting Engr Segun Oni against the candidacy of Fayemi at the APC primary.
Tinubu was said to be instrumental to the adoption of the Direct primary used in the recent APC primary that produced Oyetola. The Amosun /Fayemi /Akeredolu group was said to have thrown their support for the candidacy of the former SSG of Osun state, Alhaji Adeoti and they are ready to make sure he emerged by supporting him financially. Therefore, if the delegate system had been used for the primary, Amosun, Fayemi and Akeredolu were ready to provide the financial wherewithal to ensure Adeoti's victory.
The case being instituted by Segun Oni against the emergence of Fayemi at the Ekiti APC primary is said to have the backing of the tinubu/Aregbesola group. It is a case of the HAND OF ESAU, THE VOICE OF JACOB.
This battle of Supremacy has just begun and may eventually break the south west APC.
