stick to the topic guys. i won't advice anyone to argue w/ davidylan because soon this topic will evolve to be an argument about something that is totally irrelevant ex. pakistan or princess diana.

i don't love clinton i don't hate him either. just indifferent. but he's a nice guy.

2. maybe you should also realise that others have oppinions that differ from yours.
i definitely know that. there's babyosisi you know. i don't speak for anybody except me.
so, case closed.

you wait until he gets married and see whether he will continue cooking while his wife sleeps.
why do you always assume that you represent every guy out there.
my bro loves to cook too and i won't be surprised if he turns out to be the one who cooks in his family.

let's take it for a fact that you want a wife who will cook while you sleep. but truth is, you don't represent every guy out there. speak for yourself.

police academy 1 & 2 - watch this for a throw back into the 1980s (even if you weren't born yet then. lol) It's an hilariously funny comedy.
it has sex, violence and whatever else people love to see in movies.

my favorite police officer is definitely ms Hooks. she's so sweet aww.

What can I do to solve this problem?

We can't allow an anti-Islam, anti-feminism, anti-inner beauty and anti-whatever to gain popularity!
the harm has already been done.

i really don't feel like shutting anyone down today. lol

We are still researching a cure for that kind of wor-wor. Since the wor-wor is in their blood, it is just like AIDS. So it will take a long time to find a cure.
But in the main time people with this kind of problem could walk around with a mask on their face and pretend its Halloween or dress like the muslims.
prevention is better than cure. two ugly people probably shouldn't be making babies? j/k

Let us break this thing down. The term "OUR LADIES", are you referring to African women?? If yes then this is my answer. Just a hand full. America and Oprah winfrey has destroyed our african ladies. All they know is hamburger, chips, chicken peri-peri, and chicken jambalaya. Our African dishes are not something you can learn off of a cookbook.

Check out the categories of ladies

1. Aje butters; Due to their upbringing, nothing this class of girls/ladies sabi. Dem no even fit boil egg. These ones only know Mr. Biggs, Tantalizers, KFC, Mac donalds, Subway, and the home delivery number of all the fast food outlet. This group i very abundant (as nobody dey gree marry them).
2. Cream: Although their mama actually try to teach them, because them dey form, them no learn anything. But them dey try. This group need manual (Cookbook) to cook. Even to make garri. But atleast them dey make effort.
3. Area; These ones sabi cook O! but them no just send. Their eye dey chook for only money.
4. Regular; These ones learn how to cook. Although their talent no strong like their mama own, but them dey really try.
5. Village girl; This ones can cook anything ranging from Nkwobi, to isi-ewu, to fresh fish peppersoup to ofe owerri down to Ugba and Opkoroko. These are the girls that make pounded yam from real yam and not yam flour. They can manufacture soups that have not been named yet. They even cook foods that are not native to their area. These girls are amazing. But the problem is that these ones no sabi book. Dem stop for class five. And they are slowly going extinct. They are an endangered specie. Thanks to our guys who come back from obodo oyibo and marry them.us break this thing down. The term "OUR LADIES", are you referring to African women?? If yes then this is my answer. Just a hand full. America and
lmao at the categories.
I'm definitely in the 2nd category -cream. lol
i use the cookbook all the time (except for the everyday regular foods) or i improvise. nothing more. mostly improvise though. my food always come out great
i'm really proud of myself for this 'cause my little bro has gotten his cooking skills from me (and he admits it. ha).

Only God will help our generation.
too bad for the guys.
I'm lovin' it grin

Christianity EtcRe: Moslems Are You Ready To Commit Suicide? by WesleyanA(f): 5:31am On Jul 20, 2007
davidylan:
What else did you expect the muslim to say? That 99% of muslims are truly terrorists?

You do the maths: if we agree that 1% of muslims are terrorists out of about 1.5billion muslims worldwide; that accounts for 15million extremists willing to strap bombs and kill innocent people in the name of god while actively attempting to recruit more disciples.
Considering that it took only 4 men to kill 3000 on 9-11, 15 million is a truly scary figure!

Maybe you need to read tiptronic's posts a lot closer and do so without blinkered glasses, he really makes no sense. Long winding posts doesnt make you smart.
And your point is? what? that tiptronic is a suicide bomber hiding somewhere in Afghanistan waiting to pounce on victims?

besides, pilgrim' posts are pretty long too. no one's complaining about that.
anyways, the dialogue is between them both. i've seen some of your long ass posts too.

i quoted "at least 99%" i didn't say this was an exact figure. stop with the "maths"
whether you like it or not, there are christian bigots out there with deep anti-islamic sentiments (you're an example, no offense). some of these people will act on these feelings if given a chance.

it took one man (Hitler) to recruit millions of german youth to aid his evil mission against the jews.
i don't think you get my point but just laying it out there for you to make connections.
LiteratureRe: I Have A Crush On Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie by WesleyanA(f): 5:11am On Jul 20, 2007
@ wesleyanA,
I beg to differ. The colour purple was a brillant work of art, it was a ''happily ever after'' story. I have read ''unserious'' ficion by John Grisham, it ended tragically.
Ms Adichie strikes me as someone with a sad face. I don't really care, I was just saying.
oh ok. it' not just endings that characterize fiction.
but i think The Bluest Eyes was what that writer was probably referring to when he mentioned Toni Morrison. that' one of the saddest book i've ever read in my life. and this is also the opinion of many people i know who have read the book.
color purple did have a happy ending but there are very few literary fiction with happy endings to be honest.

lol about adichie and sad face. hmm i've only seen her pics.
yeah who cares, i still love her.
Christianity EtcRe: Moslems Are You Ready To Commit Suicide? by WesleyanA(f): 4:59am On Jul 20, 2007
according to an american muslim (book author) featured on bbc, at least 99% of muslims believe that "allah is a merciful God" and DO NOT condone terrorist acts. they get mad when they look at the tv and all they see is people connecting islam to terrorism and hate.
the guy made a lot of good points too.

good to see that this debate is no longer one sided. if only we can find more people like tiptronic on nairaland grin
