but you can't say only hispanics and mexicans fit into that category.
most immigrants regardless of race (esp. those with little or no education) serve cheap labor and can't support themselves. but you can say that Hispanics are the largest group of immigrant
(hispanics are notorious (sp?) for having big families with 5-9 kids Lol. so they need welfare e.t.c to support their families.
and yeah. almost everywhere there's poverty, there's gang problems.
most live in the cities too. because they believe that's where opportunity is.
The United States is fiiled with optimistic people who believe that it's going to be better tomorrow even if they're in the worst condition today.

In the late 1800's it was the Irish, Jews e.t.c. they came to the US in waves and provided cheap labor (at that time the United States was in it's 2nd Industrial revolution i think  ) so they worked in factories e.t.c. they were also notorious for living in slums, inner cities e.t.c (that's where the word "ghetto" comes from i think "where the poor immigrant jews lived".
the chinese built railroads i know that because they were cheaper than whites, stronger and complained less.
today, most descendants of those Irish immigrants then are well off and pretty wealthy (at least the ones in my school are).

back to your question,
they are cheap labor because obviously, they'll recieve any pay no matter how small without complaining much like their white counterparts who'll hold workers union e.t.c and go on strike. they feel that as long as they're living more comfortablyr\ than they were in their respective countries of birth, they don't have to worry. all they do is work really hard.

and as i said, that gang problem is not uncommon in any area where there's poverty. even amongst the blacks it's there.

hispanics whose generations have lived in the United States for long don't suffer this problem though. it's mostly the recent immigrant generations that suffer it.
this applies to the irish groups too. today most irish, jews are well off and wealthy. then in the late 1800's, that wasn't the case.


you probably should do a google search to help you more.  

and yeah. I know some are migrant workers too. this kind of sucks for the kids who have to move from place to place every few or so months or years. it doesn't help their education at all. some drop out to help their parents farm or do migrant work. (not all hispanics are migrant workers though. just a couple.

I first learned about that last year ,(through some history assignment)

Only thing i know is that Netherlands is the first country to legalize it but the doctors have to go through a lot of steps.
As Seun mentioned, they have to get patient consent or if the patient isn't capable of communicating e.t.c, a close relative's consent is needed.
you also can't put pressure on the patient to give in to it.

maybe other countries will follow suit, idk. but i know Netherlands is a very very liberal nation.

The profession of women has little significance in the increase of single mothers in the US and Europe rather it has to do with the high rate of premarital sex and divorce somethings along that line.
Actually, Women (educated) who work alongside their husbands tend to live a more healthier and economically stable lives than those who don't. They don't tend to have 10 kids like some families do. Rather they live in homes with 2-3 kids average (my guess) .
One thing that could lessen the overpopulation in Nigeria is increasing female employment and education.

If you read the short essay by Virginia Woolf. (I'll narrate it because i don't think you read it).

Her dream has always been to become a writer since she was a young girl but there were restrictions in society then against female writers (there were also other professions men monopolized). They actually used to published their works under male names or pseudonyms because they don't want to be found out!. (a classic example of this is Mary Ann Evans who wrote her books under the name of "George Elliot".

It's not that "she feels she can do what a man can do" rather it's "she feels she can be what she wants to be" there should be no gender restrictions to whatever occupation she wishes to pursue.

well, i wouldnt say that they try to be gangsta. but they do try to fit in. around my area(the east coast)., they try so hard to portray some thuggish image. some come to school, don't do their work, disrespect their teachers, join gangs e.t.c.

but such things have been happening in nigeria. not all nigerian guyz in america are like that.

I can't stand guys like that. but if you complain, you get called "hater".
