Vanity upon vanity.... Whenever he makes this statement in front of his congregation, does he ever feel that he might be referring to himself? |
I wonder what "credible" candidate PDP can come up with in the event that GEJ decides not to run. PDP with all it stand for always leaves a horrible taste in the mouth. They are rotten through and through. Having many of it's members defect to APC makes things worse. One bad apple spoils the whole bunch. APC in a marriage with PDP.......Nigeria is still in shackles. |
Nice to see our number one citizen at work...just work, no play. |
Cool. Nothing like finding moments to take a time out...Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. By the way, when are we gonna get to see pictures of GEJ when he was... Sharing a bottle of his fav ogogoro with Abati? Eating roasted fish with, and sharing a kiss with madam first lady? Playing draught with Tukur? Abi dem no get photographer inside Aso Rock? Dem don sack T.Y Bello? |
You would get tired of continuously applying whatever suggestions or solution you are given. This stage of your life is not a passing phase. Middled aged and growing gray hairs...just embrace it. Better to age gracefully and look dignifying, than fight a loosing battle. The permanent (or at least long lasting) solution is to undergo laser hair removal, followed by hair transplant. I have a few more, less radical approach, but i will only suggest this because it is both intensive, time consuming and very expensive. So, if you actually go through with this, then it shows that your appearance is a big issue for you...and i respect that. Early appearance of gray hair is mostly determined by your genes. You don't have to fight it: Live with it, and find peace within yourself.

Silver bells by an African American group called A Few Good Men. Seriously, this track is the most soulful Christmas song out there. I urge everyone to take a moment to listen to it. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=6NqEkKPzfZE |
Thank you for the prompt response. At least i have a little comfort (just a little) |
Now I'm scared! I have a plot of land within a private estate. This estate is covered by a global C of O. I don't remember the date it was issued. Since it is a global, and not my personal C of O, will I be charged from d date it was issued, or the charge only applies after I process the C of O for my plot? Thanks for this enlightenment. |
16. Toyota is the most stolen car brand in Naija. |
To be honest, most of these newspapers are glorified junk publications. You can't help but wonder what sort of education and training their editors had. Their reporting of events and presentation of article is so lame, you will want to shed tears while reading them. Most don't do any form of investigation. They just reproduce hearsay (conveniently labelled as "source that pleads anonymity") Now the word "anonymity" disgusts me so much, because you will find it everyday, in more than half of their reporting. It is a convenient escape for them. Bunch of lazy folks! |
The entire narration seem very funny. Looking at his picture, however, i can't help but feel a bit sympathetic. He saw angels.. ![]() |
Ha. These crooks didnt begin their operation recently. They have been there since early 90s. My first encounter with them was in 1993. I was barely 12 years old then. We counted over five of them along that stretch. They will point at your tires and make hand gestures as you drive by. My old boy who was behind the wheel told me to ignore them, and narrated how they operate. He'd been their victim before that time! |
Well, if the first phase of this resort will be open to the public by Dec 15, why are there no actual pictures? A week to go, and its just the rendered image available. |
U look lovely. Why would the mods ban you for posting a decent picture of yourself? I rate you 8.5/10. |
anibi9674: Persecution 4 christ sake has began. If u wont die 4 christ den u will recieve d mark of d beast nd when u recieve d mark u will b doomed 4 eternity. B wiseAnd how many people has boko haram given this mark? |

What reasonable decision has that sorry excuse of a governor, T.A. Orji, ever made? He just achieved another feat for demolishing a fully functional building...and not because it has any structural defect. Even though this is meant to be punitive, it is regressive and lacks any merit. Government even had to spend money to effect the demolition. |

You see, for a group of people (PDP) who have absolutely no moral compass and zero shame, anything becomes a point of reference for them. Exactly what case did they just make for PDP and GEJ ? These bunch of unfortunates are the worst man-made disaster Naija has come up with, next to PHCN and NPF. |
Celibacy is probably the hardest thing to maintain...unless, of course, you have been castrated. Arguably, many who have sworn to be celibate as priests do indulge in secret affairs But for this priest, i'm happy and relieved he didn't do it with another male! Get a wife if you can't stand it no more! |
Motherhood, and the strength of a woman. This is awesome. I am beyond speechless! |
Sorry about this misfortune. Dont know why you opted to use NIPOST service. I wouldnt trust NIPOST to deliver a letter within Lagos on time, much less an international delivery of a parcel containing perishable items. I've had few a dealings with them in the past, all of whose outcome were quite disgusting. Like every institution run by the federal govt, it needs a complete overhauling. |
8. You failed to mention this singular and important reason: that corruption and government insensitivity is the highest single reason why graduates can't get jobs. Corruption stops the creation of jobs Corruption strangles development and existing firms cannot operate at optimal levels Corruption ensures that the standard of education falls, and half baked graduates without skills are churned out Why would a student study really hard, and try to acquire skills to go with it, when he knows he can just pay his way to good grades? Corruption is the reason why ASUU is still on strike. Trace the root cause of all the 7 reasons u mentioned, and tell me that corruption doesnt have a hand in any of them. Government dont have all the blame, though: Even with a well structured educational system, some graduates are just so dumb, you won't want to employ them as your "gateman" |
Dear governor, while your apology is expected, giving a cash gift is, to put it mildly, a shitty move. You had to show d PDP folks that your party has got deeper pockets? You wouldn't have presented d cash if a morally bankrupt PDP didn't try to turn ur f#ck-up into their advantage. Why don't you guys just continue with this revolting play: let PDP up it's ante and give the widow 5mil so we can see your next response. Lame politicians. |
@Acidosis: I get your point. Yes, the hospital has a management board, who should oversea the running of this facility. It is glaring that they havent been doing their duty. You know the attitude of civil servants. Government property is deemed nobody's property. If government health inspectors take their job seriously, I dont think this kind of rot would be allowed to fester. |
General neglect and non maintenance is usually associated with government run institutions. Just like it is presently being reported with government owned primary and secondary schools. Your report would have carried more weight if you had obtained pictures. This forum is also a useful tool to publicize matters that really need attention. BTW, how is your mother doing? Was the medical attention she got satisfactory? |
What makes this a "compensation?" I believe this is a contract the engineering firm won after a competitive bid. It is purely a private sector business concern. If you keep insinuating there's a political undertone, then keep at it. You will only need to consume packs of paracetamol for your headache. Is there any reason whatsoever that Dangote or anyone will need to "compensate" Indians ![]() Na wah for some people sha! |
