The people in government will call it "strategic" or "reshuffling" or whatever bogus name they can come up with. But for us on the streets, there's just one term: Hardship. I don't want to use the term "recession" because our people in the street may not understand it. Good morning Nigerians. E don set! What a way to greet a new week. |
Drlaw:Well, I am not arguing abt the "taking over all their ladies" part. You have a point there. Actually, I can beat my chest too when it comes to that part ![]() But the problem is, the average naija guy acts like he is above the law when he's outside the country. This behaviour gets pronounced when in another African (black) country. Their swag and sometimes reckless attitude gets them noticed. They are confident everywhere they go. So, it takes a lot of self assurance to match toe to toe with an exposed naija guy. This can breed misgivings among the menfolk in the host country, especially when their ladies find naija men irresistible. The immigration may overlook some other nationalities with expired visas, but they will be very enthusiastic to cut a Nigerian down to size once he flaunts the law. |
Was waiting to see pictures of this tree. Not just ones from the internet. Also the ones you havr planted for sale. |
ILoveToFuCcK:I totally agree with you. I am yet to see any single headline from that blog that isn't annoying. I don't visit it, but some friends on Facebook are always sharing stories from it, so I often see it on my page. So annoying! |
bbdiamond:Didn't you just read where an Emir had a 14year old abducted, converted her to Islam, and married her, with the sharia council in that state ruling that the marriage is irreversible? Well, in this disgusting country called Nigeria, ages 12, 13 and 14 is the new age of consent. The girl is free to get married, according to our backward brothers up north. So, let her be! |
FriendChoice:And this doesn't seem distasteful to you? Marriage to a 9 year old is something to be proud or boast of? And you just called someone shameless! |
I feel you on this, trust me. I feel you. Little things such as this should make anyone with a half functioning brain realize that this country isn't one, and will never be one. The disparity is so damn much, that it will defy any reasonable resolution. Apart from the stone age lifestyle up there, the dominant religion of theirs has contributed to make any communion with them absolutely impossible. We keep living in denial. |
teemanbastos:Son, did you forget to take your medicine last nite? ![]() What has your oshokomole got to do with this? |
![]() One cow down, several thousands to go. At least the herdsmen know who "arrested" their cow. Let's see if they would rather mete out their revenge on the community people, instead of the governor. |
![]() I do believe not every politician or government official likes handing out his bag for a subordinate to carry. However, as black people, yansh licking is in our blood. Even if those officials refuse, most folks will insist on carrying it on their behalf. I have the feeling that could be what happened in the pictures. After greeting her, that humongous female airport official seemed to go for her bag, and madam was like, "don't worry about it" |
Nice job, Spyder880. Would have been cool if your surveyor makes a map of the area where you intend to use for this estate, showing individual plots and their numbers, as well as the entrance to the estate, in relation with the surrounding areas. Remember that many buyers may not be physically available to inspect the land, so a survey map will help in picking the plots of their choice, just like the Ugwu Omu Nike land. |
oriaburefarms:Now, for people within Lagos, who need a few trees, you do sell to them right? I read a post of yours sometime back where you mentioned that your location is Ipaja, right? Can I come there to buy few trees? |
simigold:Na wah o. The sort of meaningless posts that people bring to the property section nowadays. Lawyer, you need to clean up the property section. It is becoming a turn off. Land with structure on it for sale. No mention or description of the type of structure. No title mentioned. Even people putting up cars less than a million naira for sale always post pictures, much less a property worth millions. Just keep.posting your "available" and "still selling" It will take someone as undiscerning as the poster to make any enquiry. |
neocortex:GBAM! My thoughts exactly. They are protesting now, knowing that further investigations are bound to implicate many of them. It is not news that the judiciary is very corrupt. What's new is that the presidency is rounding them up, albeit in an unconventional manner. |
Where is this land located? Just mentioning Anambra isn't enough. You should know the first and most important thing about property: exact LOCATION!! |
jasper7:Bro, the thunder that will strike and usher good fortunes your way has almost finished loading! I swear, you motivate me in no small measures. I am proud of you! Actually, I am a dreamer. I dream so much, but you are the realist and the practical one. You are the one who often bring my agricultural entrepreneurship dreams to reality. You will succeed where others stumble and fall. I am following your progress. |
proeast:You didn't bother to mention where the location of the palm plantation is. Is this plantation owned by an individual, or family? What title document of this land, if any, is presently available? These are the info you should give first, that would help a potential client make an informed decision. Please let me have these info. |
Fulani brothers now repping big time. Seem like cattle rearing isn't as lucrative as it once was. Several reports of sighted highway robbers looking and speaking Fulani has largely gone unacknowledged by the security agencies. |
Another hoax |
Seem the folks from the north have learned this lucrative, albeit hazardous profession from their southern brethren. But still, why would they open fire first, against a better equipped soldiers? The dead can't talk, so we can't ask them. We can only go with the one sided story for now. I would have said they look more like hunters than kidnappers. They were not with a kidnapped victim, so I don't know where the kidnap angle emanated from. |
If you are coming to NL to ask this question, then I put it to you that you are not matured yourself. A man of age 32 ought to know what to do with his life, not coming to a faceless forum to pose a question that has a lifelong implication to folks who do not and cannot have the level of info you are working with. Nothing wrong with the age difference. But a lot is wrong with your approach to it. An 18 year old could be inexperienced, but is still legally an adult. You haven't even done enough to be really convinced that proposing would be the next logical step. |
Rikidony:Read the report again. They are building it in Niger Republic, close to the border with Nigeria. Their excuse is that they are trying to tackle boko haram. But knowing the US, once they "invade" any country, they are always reluctant to leave. Their motive in the long run isn't about eradicating boko haram. They have a more sinister and long range plan for building this post. |
psucc:The US is just hell bent on building a military base in Sub Sahara Africa, and our illegitimate and overzealous religious washouts in the north is about to give them the excuse to plant a foothold on the continent. This plan of building an African Command Base has eluded them for a long time. Wherever US plants their military presence, things deteriorate very fast! |
AccessME:. Utter crap. You had better go for medical check up, as these c0ck and bull yarn you spin here isn't a symptom of masturbation. Something else is wrong with you. Don't bring ignorance here. Failing eyesight Shrinking bone ![]() Feeling weak and lazy.... Bros, if your only problem is frequent jerking off, then it can be tackled. As it is, something much worse is wrong with you. Masturbation is a part of becoming aware of your own sexuality as you grow up. It only becomes a problem when you get addicted to it, and find it hard to have a normal sexual relation as a result of it. |
amc:Go preach to your choir |
zion69:Ha. All this noise over a drawing by a teenager?? Since you believe you can make a difference only if you were a white man, what keeps you from turning white? They are nice drawings, really. But you make it seem like a 14 year old doing this is rare or exceptional. What internet did it break? |
sarrki:I don't know who you are, but you have made me laugh so much this morning. ![]() I dey gbadun you gaan! And, please help me tell your friend, the true Nigerian, that his case is not unique. Lots of people get chased by a cutlass wielding mad man, gets jazzed by their kinsmen, and gets their contract worth thousands of naira blocked. Tell him this is not enough reason to deny his roots. What we all want is a progressive nation, with or without Biafra. His anger is blinding him to the goodies out there. |
emynike2001:Well, the bad luck I see here is the one who keeps getting jazzed and his contracts thwarted. The one who nearly got killed by his mad kinsman brandishing a cutlass ![]() I get love everywhere I go all across the SE. The truth you referred to here, is just your words and what you claim to have experienced. I never said you were lying, neither do I have to take your words for it, as I wasn't a witness to whatever misfortune you went through. Fine, I didn't face your reality the way you painted it. I don't have to! I have my own version of reality, and I don't have to force it upon you either. Your way of assessment leaves very little to the imagination on how your mind functions. |
proeast:Words on marble. You see, the problem with SW is that they have no mind of their own. They are too lilly livered to make a stand. Yet, when another group tries to strike out, they try to discourage this. They fear that once SE seccedes, then SW would be left at the mercy of the North. That thought scares them silly ![]() |

So despite my advise to you yesterday to steer clear of Igbo affairs, you decided to continue in this foolhardiness! I am now convinced that you and your folks are mortally afraid of the existential threat & likely actualization of Biafra going by its popular demand & renaiscence struggle by Igbos & their neighbours but know this, we are not in any way bothered by the opinion & sabotage of parasites against their source of livelihood since we are equal to the task. Okechukwu you mentioned is of no consequence in the scheme of Biafra or what do you expect from him since he is working for Nigeria? I'm sorry but Biafra actualization is at the point of no return & know that the world is taking note, very soon, a UN sponsored referendum will take place that will signal the end of the contraption!!!
