onismate:The answer to your question is YES! There is zero security in Naija. Anyone can decide to kidnap anyone, at anytime, anyday, anywhere. It's that easy. All that is needed is the guts and motivation to do it, as well as luck. We got no security within the country, much less around the borders. It's a pity parents can't allow their 5 year old kids to play outside the house anymore, much less walk down the street one or two blocks to a neighbor's house on their own |
jessykings:You see, this is what disgusts me with black people. Here's a so called lawyer, an educated waif who the tenant hired to defend him, and this is what he had to say! What has the landlord's age got to do with the issue? (by calling him a grandfather) He is admonishing the man to live a Christ like life. Was he hired to practice law or to preach? What rubbish! Religion has got nothing to do with this. If his client is indebted, simply tell him to pay the old man. If he isn't, then let him answer the summon or go the legal route. The landlord is searching for justice, and his strong conviction that his tenant is trying to pull a fast one made him resort to this. We all know that the Nigeria police and law courts are simply a waste of time. The elderly citizen has no confidence in them, so he went to where he was sure about justice getting served swiftly and surely. |
It keeps getting worse. If you were to ask the average man on the street to document his experience with police or other agents, the accounts will leave you utterly helpless. 9 am, and a policeman was already reeking of alcohol. I daresay this woman is lucky she didn't get shot when she confronted the policemen. If it were a male, the story might have ended differently. Their very common excuse about "accidental discharge" readily comes to mind. God abandoned this shithole a long time ago. |
The shame of a so called country. The sort of selfishness and greed among politicians is mind boggling. It will take such an incredible amount of wickedness to stand by and watch these helpless kids waste away with hunger and malnutrition, and still divert foods and resources meant for their wellbeing. The notable thing is that this evil is committed by their very own people. It started with the extremists among them, promoted by their people who condoned and supported them, evolved with their politicians that financed them, and now they die of starvation imposed on them by their own heartless people in the guise of agents who are in charge of the IDP camps. When you have such humans as your own people, as your government agents and as your politicians, then you have no need for enemies. The enemies are within. |
Blastos:Asswipe! We know yansh lickers when we see one. See the faeces all around your mouth from licking diseased ass. The reasons you gave for the governor purchasing cars for the HOA members is as lame as they are ridiculous. It's just been revealed the cars were gifts. Perhaps you care to point to the part of the constitution that brought about such bogus gifts at austere times such as this? For your info, a member of the HOA has admitted the cars were gifts, and she has decided to sell hers, according to her words, "in order to use the proceeds to empower her constituents" Obviously, one cannot sell such cars if they were for official purpose. The story just hit FP. See it here: https://www.nairaland.com/3215895/maria-ude-nwachi-sell-suv Such human specimen! Keep it up with your ass licking. Your people are proud of you. |
That's what happens when folks decide to live their life online. Everyday, meaningless and mundane things won't be complete unless they get posted online. Wonder what the gain is. |
Notice how most Nigerian artists with amazing vocals hardly last on the music scene. While mediocre singers are much celebrated, so long as they keep churning out noisy and meaningless songs with catchy tunes. |
@ oblo I'm impressed with what you have done so far. Keep it up! Kindly indulge me for a minute, pls. I keep getting this impression that rearing grass cutters would be a more productive venture, especially in the SE, where such creatures are well known and regarded as a delicacy, than rabbit. Am I off the mark here? Secondly, from the list of materials you bought, Roll of thick net for cage base - #7,000 What is the size of a roll of this net? Mucho gracias! |
zukky79:. The above is what struck a nerve. Two successive ministers of works from that state! Yet, the road is this way. Corruption held the country by it's jugular vein. That we are still here is nothing short of a miracle. Don't be surprised that billions of naira were appropriated in yearly budgets for several years, meant to fix this road. Nigeria jagajaga...in graphic pictures. |
Hope no one will blame the devil in the event of an accident. Nothing prevents that woman from grievous injury or even death from a fall, once the brake is applied, or the bike runs into a pothole. Such a rough and hard life! If she makes it safely to the market, I'm probably one of the people who would buy bananas from her, oblivious to the thing she had positioned on it while joyriding ![]() |
kingsman66:What a lame response. Typical black man. Is there anyone on the face of earth who will never experience death? This is a matter of facing reality and acting on it. He will probably get an actionable response he can act upon, something even you might learn from. As usual, everything is spiritual. So, he won't die if he stopped thinking about his eventual demise? |
Pushas:I understand where you are coming from, bro. Do you know why till this day, a nationwide revolution has not begun? It is simply because Nigeria is not a united country. We are not one, and we have never been one. I don't see it happening, EVER. Once a section of the country feels they are being shortchanged, all the government needs to do is appoint someone from that region into a certain position, and what happens next is, the people will say, "well, one of us has been appointed. Let's wait and see how things go. Maybe the government has remembered us afterall" This happens consistently. It all boils down to tribalism along with it's varying interests. Now that we feel that the FG is appointing mostly Northerners, majority of the south complains. Once a prominent position is given to, say, someone from the SS, that region keeps quiet a bit. AS IF SUCH AN APPOINTMENT EVEN MEANS ANYTHING TO THE COMMON MAN IN THAT REGION! It's not totally an issue of cowardice. No Igbo man will rise up in protest over a Yoruba village that gets ransacked by Fulani herdsmen. No Yoruba politician will lose sleep if Boko Haram suddenly wipes off an entire LGA in Damaturu. No Hausa man will lose his appetite if a sudden epidemic wipes off half the population of a rural community in the Niger Delta. It's the same reason why, when a politician is being investigated for corruption, his kinsmen will rise up in protest, and call it witch hunting ![]() It's also the reason why, every politician in power is like "I need to loot as much as I can lay my hands on right now". Knowing that it is a temporary position, without much accountability. Bottom line, no tribe or groups of tribe is ready to lose his life over a country that most of us feel no allegiance or loyalty to. Will you, for instance, accept to lead a ragtag mob that decides to march to Aso Rock tomorrow morning? of course, you'd first ask yourself if you are the most affected from the hardship ravaging the country. The very first factor that ensures a successful revolution is UNITY. Once everyone is unified in their political conviction and decide on achieving the same goal, then a revolution might just be looming. Go read up the history of countries that had a successful revolution. A united front was the common and overwhelming factor. As it is now, in Nigeria, it is every man for himself. |
What a very disgusting and horrid way to log off from this life: To die by ingesting and drowning in other peoples' shiit. Yuck! Hope the city officials will remember to move against the owner of that property who left an open pit for sewage like that. |
Nice. Are these buildings constructed by you? |
Rubbish. Try harder |
Wow. We have settled to the concept of living primitive and backward. So much resources, but very poor attitude at improving conditions of living. Inhuman and selfish politicians. That's why they keep buying properties abroad. They have no plan at making things work in this so called country. |
toluvibe:Sorry, asshole. The joke's on you. Go to the first page to check who created the topic. You're no different from the rest of them dumb fvcks who keep quoting me since yesterday, thinking i'm the one asking for advice. Little wonder everyone is getting dumber nowadays. Look who's calling who dumb. ![]() I wouldn't even need advice from the likes of you, who couldn't differentiate his dick from his cell phone. Totfulguy:Kindly check the first page of this thread to realize you're barking up the wrong tree. I didn't create the topic, wasn't the one asking for advice. What do you guys have a brain and a pair of eyes for? Quit mentioning me. Geez! |
Enkyl: henrii:I forgive you guys! ![]() No need to argue or correct you anymore. Why should I? Your education was a waste. Kindly go back to the first page and check who created the thread. I only commented afterwards. And no need to apologize if you realize your error, because I already pardoned you. Asswipes everywhere! ![]() |
lawyer:Last bus stop! ![]() The lawyer has spoken. The final authority on NL property section has given his opinion. So, take this advise to the bank. Run as fast as your legs can carry you. |
cekhoe:My sista, I tire o! still can't figure out why everyone is on my neck over someone else's post. The OP's moniker and mine doesn't even seem similar by a long shot. The obvious crime I committed was being the first to comment after the OP created the thread. It's in the property section where I frequent most on NL. That the thread got splashed on the front page got every sort of shady characters creeping out the woodwork and invading the thread. Most of them didn't even know a property section exists in the first place. |
jenigurl:Jesus! As pretty as you are, you couldn't read too! ![]() After I took the pains to correct everyone who quoted me on this thread that I'm not the OP, that I'm not the one seeking for advice or opinions, you lots keep falling into the same pit. So, like the rest of them, you can't read, or you couldn't differentiate between the OP and a responder? Has everyone suddenly gone bonkers? What's causing this confusion, anyway? |
ADUBA1: ![]() Another one who just drove into the gutter. This isn't funny anymore. Can't you guys read, or see? I AM NOT THE OP!!! |
19naia:Great advice, bro. You obviously have dealings in property issues. As for me, once I perceive theere are certain encumbrances or strings attached to a property, I take a walk immediately. There are always great deals elsewhere. It's very easy to make poor judgements once you begin to develop a sort of attachment to a piece of property you wish to acquire. Perhaps due to it's location, price or other variables. |
Call the lady and blast her...? Such a dunce. No wonder she's someone's spare tyre. Actually, a second spare tyre. The man she took to be a future partner doesn't even deem her worthy as a side chick. She was just fortunate or unfortunate to have a baby for him. If your story is true, I will just quit being ""neighborly" with her. What a dunce. Ignorance in such extremes have a way of rubbing off on people around such a person. |
Satioshi: ![]() There comes another one. Seem like everyone has a problem distinguishing between his phone and his dick today. Go to the first page and check who asked for you guys opinion. Haba! |
opius:Check who posted the topic. What's wrong with all of you today? Everyone quoting me as if I'm the one asking for advice. The reason why I don't like property topics going to the front page. Everyone jumps in as if they got something to say. |
Uchihaitaci:Everyone of you seem to confuse me for the OP. Same as most responses here, I merely gave him a simple tip on what to do. |
erico2k2:And where did I ask any question? Are you confusing me for the OP? |
carboblanko:And what makes you think I don't? |
Go with caution. I see from the document the words "lessor" and "lesee" used to address both parties. This clearly shows that the land is under a lease title, and not outright purchase. Get a good property lawyer to handle this for you, to see if these terms can be amended. Otherwise, avoid it and look elsewhere. My deeds of assignments usually have the words "donor" and "donee" to refer to the seller and buyer respectively. Modified: I had to add this to my post. What is it with guys quoting me since this thread got to front page? I've had so much people quoting me, even cussing me, obviously mistaking me for the OP. Please stop this nonsense. I don't even see how you guys keep making that error. |
Lordskyes:Wow! A cool brother. That's quite rare. So sorry for coming that hard. Your cool response at my harsh criticism got me ashamed. Honestly. You're the man. Go with God. |
